I hope you lie this one, I had to post a day early cause my niece and nephew are staying 2moro and I proabably wouldn't get any work done....lol.
Anyway here we are tell me what you think.

Chapter 11- Draco’s Words.
“RON!!! PLEASE!!! HARRY!!! LISTEN TO ME!!! I screamed running after them. I just didn’t care if I looked stupid.”

“Go away Hermione!!” Ron yelled

“NO NOT UNTIL YOU LISTEN!!!”

“Look, Hermione I’m fed up with this…..” Ron said turning to face me. “I told you very clearly that I didn’t want to talk to you anymore, I don’t want to even look at you anymore!!! But what you don’t seem to understand is that you hurt me Hermione!!!!! I can’t be around you because it just makes it so much harder. It’s so bad that I can’t concentrate on anything else!! CAN’T YOU SEE WHAT YOU’VE DONE TO ME!!!!! I’M THOSE THINGS THAT MUGGLES CALL A ZOMBIE!!! I’M DEAD TO THE WORLD!!! YOU’VE DONE THIS TO ME!!!!!”

“Ron….mate come on………stop upsetting yourself……” Harry said grabbing his shoulders.

“Why……won’t….s…sss...she l...leave me alone?” He sobbed and Harry gave him a hug.

“It’s ok mate. It will get better.”

“Ron….please….. I said.”

“Hermione…..for Gods sake, don’t you understand. Look at the state of him. You can’t think he’d forgive you for something like this. It’s not that simple; he can’t stop loving you, and believe me I know. Ron’s done absolutely everything for you and how do you repay him? By going off with Malfoy, Ron loves you Hermione but you don’t return the feelings and that can scar someone more than you would think.” Harry said

“But Harry, I don’t want to lose my best friends, you guys are my life!”

“Well…..you should of that before you got yourself into this mess. You girls have got to realise that guys have their reasons for doing things, Ron’s not doing this to hurt you, he’s doing it for himself, he needs time to adjust, he needs time to accept, he needs the time to get over you. Believe me I still haven’t got over my feelings for Ginny yet. But the case is this Hermione, the feelings may fade and the hurt will disappear, but the feelings won’t, although Ron may in time find it in his heart to forgive you, he can’t stop loving you. It’s the same with Ginny, if she would just realise that I’m doing all this to protect her, but no she keeps trying to get to me and the harder she tries the harder it gets, and that’s the same with Ron, you keep pushing him to forgive you. He finds it hard to see you at the moment but if you give him time to adjust he could find it a lot easier. I know you miss Ron, but you have to let him grieve, you have to give him a chance to forgive you, the more you push him the harder it will be to forgive you.”

“I didn’t say a word more; they walked away, Harry trying hard to keep Ron on his feet. Harry was right; I had to give him time. But what if he couldn’t forgive me? What if he can never learn to trust me ever again? I hope that Ron can forgive me, I mean what would I do without my best friend?”

“Hermione!!!!”

“I turned around and found that Ginny was running to catch up with me.”

“Ginny!!”

“We hugged.”

“Oh my God, it’s been ages since I have talked to you.” Ginny said

“I know, it really has, I’m sorry, that’s my fault I have been quite distant lately.”

“I know, I heard what happened to you and Ron”

“I suppose you’ve come to have a go at me too then?”

“No. I’m sad about you and Ron, but I don’t blame you, I just think maybe you guys just weren’t meant to be.”

“But still I should have given Ron the respect he deserves instead of being so hurtful and mean.”

“Yes, but you didn’t mean to hurt him and I’m sure he knows that you just need to give him time.”

“That’s what Harry said.”

“You spoke to Harry? How was he? Is he ok?”

“Ginny…..what is going on with you and Harry?”

“Well…..a couple of weeks ago on our last Hogsmeade trip, Harry and I spent the day together so you and Ron could time alone……..”

“I felt a twinge of guilt spread through me.”


“……and he and I had so much fun together. We got back to Hogwarts, and said he would walk me back to Gryffindor common room. We arrived outside the portrait hole and found the fat lady was asleep. We said goodnight and before I knew it I leaned and kissed him. He kissed back, it was amazing, I missed kissing him so much and then things got a bit heated and that woke the fat lady up and she said…. “Stop that right now! That kind of behaviour is a no –no!!” We broke off and Harry said to me “I’m sorry Ginny.” I said “Don’t apologise Harry, we both wanted to so we have nothing to be sorry about.” I went to kiss him again and he stepped back. “No Ginny, I promised myself I wouldn’t let anyone get hurt because of me. We can’t be together.” And I said “Harry I don’t care, nothing is as bad as not being with you!” and finally he said “I DO GINNY, WE CAN’T BE TOGETHER!!! WE JUST CAN’T!!” After that he walked down the hall without another word and he hasn’t spoken to me since.”

“Oh Ginny, I’m so sorry.”

“It’s alright, so were both in a bit of a complicated situation. I just couldn’t hold back from Harry any longer. But he obviously he can.” Ginny said sadly.

“Ginny, he does love you, he just doesn’t want you getting hurt and he’d rather make sure your safe than give into temptation. He’s doing it all for you.”

“I know, but why doesn’t he understand that I rather be with him, than go through all this crap. Well what’s going on with Malfoy then?” Ginny asked uncomfortably

“Ginny, you don’t need to do this, Ron’s your brother and I understand that you care about him and want to protect him.”

“Look, I’m your friend Hermione, if you need anyone I’m here, even to talk about Malfoy. I’ll suffer it. I just have to warn you, nobody knows about you and Malfoy yet, so beware if anyone finds out that a Gryffindor and Slytherin are together you two are going to have hell.”

“RON!!”

“What is it Malfoy? Can’t you see when you’re not wanted?” Ron said coldly.

“Look I don’t want to argue, I have just come to talk to you about Hermione.”

“What about her?” Ron asked nastily

“Look cut the attitude ok, I know your hurting ok, but Hermione’s hurting too. She didn’t want to hurt you; it was all my fault she was in this mess in the first place. Look she misses her best friends, and I don’t want to get in the way of the friendship you guys have, it really means a lot to her.”

“Look Malfoy, I don’t know why you’re defending her now, weren’t you the one that always called her a MUDBLOOD!!!”

“I’m sorry about everything I have done but I’m not here to talk about my past, this about Hermione, give her a chance to explain herself Ron, give her a chance to be your friend again. I know you love her, but surely a best friend is better to have than to shut her out completely, hurting yourself and her too? I’m asking you to give her a chance Ron, she deserves it, as I said it’s all my fault she’s in this mess in the first place and all the guilt has been given to her. She misses you guys, your were both there long before me. Please all I’m asking is give her a chance. I mean a boyfriend may not be forever but the friendship between you guys is a bond that will last a lifetime and it doesn’t take a really smart person to figure it out. Think about it; see if you can find it in your heart to give her the chance she deserves.”

“Ok….but I’m not promising anything. This isn’t for you though!!! I do miss Hermione a lot, but it’s not easy to forgive what she has done and I need to trust her again before I can build a friendship. But I will think about it. But you and I are not on any better terms, you’re still the prat that stole my girlfriend. You’re a git as far as I’m concerned. I don’t even think that I’m going to get use to the fact of you being around. But I will think about talking to Hermione.”

“That’s all I’m asking.” Draco said and he turned walking back into the castle.

thanks so much, I'm glad you like it. I agree with you with you about Harry but he's a noble guy and I understand why he's doing it although I don't agree with it. I love Harry and Ginny!!!! I was so happy when JkRowling got them together in the last book - even if it was only for a couple of chapters I do hope though that Harry will change his mind in the next one *crosses fingers*
