Chapter 7 – Draco’s Ultimatum.

“So I bet your wondering what happened next after our little encounter in the library. So are you? What do you think happened next? Oh come on take a guess….. Oh fine then I’ll tell you what happened…..but this is only because I like you guys…..you’re cool. What do you mean I’m stalling? I am NOT stalling! I’m not…..I’m not…..oh alright I am. But that’s only because what happens next isn’t what I thought would happen. I’ll let you figure out what that means. So I suppose I better continue the story. So here we go……after our very passionate kiss in the library, Draco released from me and stared silently into my eyes. I spoke first saying…..”

“You have the sexiest eyes”

“Oh my God! I have no idea where that came from, and I giggled after I said it.”

“Thanks, and you have the sexiest lips.”

“Oh wow, he was soooooooooo hot, very hot. He kissed me again, and I kissed back, hungry for more. I have never acted so naughty. I was always the one to do the sensible thing, to do the right thing. I was always telling Harry and Ron off for breaking rules, and here I was…….a bad girl…..who wanted a bad boy……… I have such a lust for Draco, and whenever I saw him, I had the immediate desire to pounce on him. You can't say that Draco isn't hot….I know you guys soooooooooo want to be in my position right now right? Draco is what I would consider…….dare I say it? A MAJOR HOTTIE!!!! You’re nodding now aren’t you all? It’s cool, I’m just glad you agree. Ok so what happened next? This is where it all starts to change, then you can decide after this if you still what to be in my place. So let’s continue.”

“Draco pulled away from me, and took the pressure of his body off my body (oh no).”

“Hermione? There’s a Hogsmeade weekend coming up and I was……wondering if you want to come with me….you know like our first proper date.” He asked.

“I would love too…..


“Oh great!!!” he interrupted

“…..but I can’t. I said sadly”

“Why not?” he asked

“I agreed to go with Ron….so we can….you know talk. Also we can’t be seen together everyone will be there including Ron and Harry, were very likely to be caught together.”

“Hermione……

“Draco I can’t I interrupted. I’m sorry but I promised Ron, he’s very worried about me and about our relationship, he wants us to spend time together, I have to do it to put his mind at rest, I owe it to him.”

“Put his mind at rest? What you going to say to him? That everything is fine between you two….when you know f*****g well it isn’t! You’re with another guy and you’re going to lie to him to put his mind at rest? I don’t think so.....more likely to save your own skin I expect.”

“Draco I……I have to spend time with him, he feels terrible. I haven’t spoken to him in ages. I have to keep him off our trail!”

“Hermione it’s been weeks since we got together and there’s no way he could figure out you and me, no way!!! He hasn’t even thought about it!!”

“But if he sees us at Hogsmeade together he will know right away!!! We have to keep it secret! It’s not fair to upset him publicly like that. I won’t allow myself to do that to him!!”

“So you won’t allow him to know about us, but you’re quite happy to play around behind his back! Is that all I mean to you just a little fling to satisfy you?”

“No, you know it isn’t….I love you Draco!”

“You say that…….but do you really mean it?!”

“Of course I do, I would never lie about this!”

“Hermione…..I’m very bothered about something else.”

“What is it?”

“Do….you still…..love Ron?”

“I don’t know.”

“You don’t know……you can’t tell me you’re true feelings now? You can’t give me a simple answer…..it’s only you who knows Hermione! Do you love him?!?! Yes or no!!!!”

“Yes!! I still love Ron.”

“So you love both of us then?”

“Draco at this point looked truly hurt by my answer and this was exactly what I wanted to avoid. His eyes were filled with tears, and when he blinked they fell from his face.”

“Oh Draco….I moved my hand to his face to wipe his tears and stepped back from me.”

“Just….answer the…….question Hermione.”

“Yes……I love both of you.”

“Ok, you go to Hogsmeade with Ron. Don’t worry about me.” He said angrily

“He started to turn away and I grabbed his hand saying….

“Please…..don’t leave me….don’t hate me!”

“Hermione……it’s impossible for me to hate you…..I have never felt like this before in my whole life and that’s why this hurts so much….you love me, but you also love Ron. That hurts Hermione……to see you love someone else……it kills me. I can’t live with it….I can’t live as the extra…….the fling on the side…….yeah sure the forbidden bit is fun……but it’s never as good as the real love. I want you so bad Hermione, but you can’t have me and Ron. You have to decide who you want. I can’t wait and live like this forever, keeping my feelings for you secret forever. I just can’t do it……it will pull me apart. I love you Hermione, but I can’t wait for you forever.”

“But you have me Draco!”

“No…..I don’t have all of you, some parts of you remain with Ron. There is still a place in your heart for Ron, I don’t know how big that part is, but you need to decide that for yourself. You need to decide who you want, and until you do……..I don’t think we should see each other anymore.”

“Draco…..no!!! Please!!!”

“I’m sorry Hermione, but I can’t stand by and watch you and Ron together while I hang on the sidelines waiting to touch you, even to kiss you……..Look I have to go now.”

“He turned to walk away, and I grabbed his hand again and pulled him close to me kissing him again, tugging at his shirt. He held me tight and I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him in closer to me………. I pulled away after a while.”

“Why did you kiss me like that?” Draco asked

“I could let you go without kissing you one last time. I said. We smiled at each other and he walked away leaving the library. That was it…..I burst into tears. I had no idea what to do next. I had to choose between Ron and Draco now. How I’m to do that? Do you guys have any ideas? I’m very open to it right now!!!! Please!!!! Help me damn it!!! Already I missed Draco and longed to be held in his arms for comfort. No I’m on my own for this one….I have to decide who do I love more? Draco or Ron?”

I think that you should dump Ron and take up Draco!!! But break it to him in a nice way. "Say Ron is have really liked you for so long, but i think that we have to put it off. It just doesnt feel right. We are like brother and sister, not girlfriend and boyfriend." I dont know whatever you think is better.
