Homework Thestrals: Seeing is Believing Luna walked over to the carriages, about to get in one as she noticed that everyone around her stared amazed at the carriages. Several people were saying that there weren't animals leading the carriages.
She gazed at the carriages with her protuberant eyes, spotting that, there were creatures harnessed to the carriages. An older Ravenclaw boy came up behind her.
"You see them? They're called thestrals." he said softly. "Few people can see them."
"Well then, that's another thing for people to assume I'm loony," Luna replied, and, with one last glance at the thestrals, she hopped into the carriage.

Herbology - Gurdyroots
Staring at the green onion in her hand, she wrote down everything she knew about it. A Gurdyroot and warded off Gulping Plimpies.
Looking down at her parchment paper, she suddenly got an idea. Packing up her books, she headed towards the greenhouses.
She found Neville, herbology books open, reading studiously.
"Neville, could you help me study for my herbology OWL?" Luna asked, sitting down beside him.
Looking up, he replied, "Of course Luna. Always glad to help out a friend."
Feeling a rush of gratitude, she pulled out the Gurdyroot and started talking about it instead of the subject. | |
