"Overly excited,"Sabrina said.She took a piece of chicken and put it on her plate."Hey,Res,Is what you whispered to me on the carriage true?"

"Umm..."Reese said.She looked at Derek and Alex."I don't know.I took a guess."

Sabrina shook her head."They would make a cute couple.If only I could find someone."

"You'll find someone,Sabrina.Trust me,"Reese said.

Alex sat down next to Reese and looked at her."Why didn't you wait for me?"

"Because Derek was going to have a heart attack if he didn't get anything to eat,"Reese said."And anyways,you're too slow."

"Ya right,"Reese said.SHe put some corn in her mouth and started to chew.

"Guys,"Dustin said."Aren't the first years so little?They look like midgets."He laughed.

"HEY!! I use to be a first year,"Reese said.

Reese smiled."Amen to that.I'm glad I was tall."

"Not as tall as me,though,"Jeremy said.

"Nobody can be as tall as you,"Reese said.

"Is that a complement?"Jeremy asked.

"It can be,"Reese said.

"I would take it as a complement,Jeremy,"Dustin said.

Jeremy smiled."I think I will."

"Okay,I'm full,"Derek said.

"Good,"Reese muttered.She finishe dher last piece of cake and stood up."Ready to go to the common room,guys?"

Dustin stood up."I guess this is where I go to te Huffie common room."He smiled and walked off.

"I'll see you around,"Sabrina said."Gotta go to the seventh floor."She hugged Reese and left.

Reese looked at Jeremy,Derek,and Alex."Let's go to the dugeons."

"Move,"Reese said.She pushed her way throught the crowd and finally made it to an empty area in the corner of the room.

"Derek,"Reese said.Derek was talking to a first year and it was pretty funny.She laughed.

Jeremy grabbed Derek and pulled him over to Reese.

"Do you like to torment firsties?"Reese said.

"I've been known to do that,"Derek said.

Reese shook her head."Well,do it later.Okay?"

"Okay,"Derek said."Where's Alex?"He turned around and spotted Alex sitting on the sofa writing in a book.He walked over to her and sat down next to her."Whatcha doing?"

"Writing,"Alex said.

"Writing what?"Derek said.

"It's called a diary,"Alex said.

"Really?"Derek said.He yanked th book from Alex and began to read it."This is funny."

"Derek give that back!!!"Alex said.

Derek shook his head.He threw the book to Reese,but Reese wasn't paying attention.

"AHHHH!!!"Reese said when she saw the book coming her way.She ducked down and the book went into the fire.Reese turned to the fire.

"DEREK!!!!"Alex yelled.

"I-I'm sorry,"Derek said."Reese was suppose to catch it."He eyes Reese.

"It's not my fault,"Reese said."I didn't know you were going to throw a book at me head."

"That book had years and years of writing in it,Derek,"Alex said.Tears started running down her cheek."How could you?"

"Don't cry,"Derek said.

Alex shook her head and got up and ran up to the girls dorm.

"Smooth,"Jeremy said.

"Shut up,"Derek said.He went to the boys dorm and never came back out.

"I'll go check on Alex,you check on Derek,"Reese said.SHe kissed JEremy and headed tot he girls dorm.
