Ok heres a new chapter!!! Chapter 24
The next day, Ron was still in a bad mood. He barely talked as they sat in the Great Hall for breakfast. Harry wasn’t talking much either. He couldn’t erase the image of Ginny crying. He had heard she had been pretty upset over the summer, but he had never once seen her cry. He had only seen her cry on two rare occasions. In his second year, after he had found her in the Chamber of secrets, and in his sixth year, at Dumbledore’s funeral. To see Ginny cry was like seeing a shooting star, but in no ways as magical. Harry felt terrible for making her shed tears over him and he didn’t think he was going to forget about it any time soon. Harry was still out of it as he sat through Potions, and unluckily, Professor Slughorn caught him.
“Harry M’boy. Did you hear anything I just said?” Professor Slughorn said snapping Harry out of his trance.
“Um…what?” Harry asked.
“Go easy on him Professor, he is probably really depressed at the moment. His little red head found somebody else.” A Slytherin girl said, making the rest of the Slytherin’s to snicker.
Hermione shot the girl a look as Harry stared at the girl. What was she talking about?
“That is quite enough miss Hefler. Lets get back to the hair growth potion.” Professor Slughorn said trying to regain order.
“What was she talking about?” Harry whispered to Ron and Hermione. They both shrugged at him, but Harry saw Hermione’s guilty look.
After Potions ended, he asked them again what the girl had meant. Again they shrugged their shoulders. But Harry wasn’t giving up that easily. He asked twice at dinner and then again as they walked toward the common room.
“I know you guys know what she was on about. It was written all over Hermione’s face.” Harry said.
“Can't you just let it go Harry?” Hermione said.
“No. No I cant.” Harry said stubbornly.
Hermione sighed. “I need to go to the library for something. I’ll meet you guys in the common room.”
“Come on mate. It was nothing.” Ron said as Hermione walked away.
Harry looked at Ron and saw he looked as miserable as he did. “I’m sorry. I just wanted to know what she meant.” He said quietly as they turned the corner.
“It’s ok. But I think you wouldn’t of liked-“ But Ron never got to finish his sentence. He had opened the tapestry with the wolves on it and found Ginny and Draco lightly kissing.
“Bloody hell!”
“Malfoy?!”
“Potter!”
“Harry! Ron!”
“Emily!” a little Hufflepuff shouted and walked away giggling with a group of friends.
“What are you doing with Malfoy?” Harry asked.
“What are you doing to my sister?!” Ron practically shouted.
“Why do you two always show up at the wrong time?” Ginny mumbled.
“Wasn’t this a great way for everybody to find out?” Draco said, finding all this very amusing.
“Shut up Malfoy!”
”Don’t tell him to shut up Ron!” Ginny shouted.
“Ginny, really? Malfoy?” Harry said. This all seemed really funny to him.
“Yes. I’m with Draco. Now, if you guys are done-“
“No we're not done.” Ron said as she began walking away.
“This is the same Malfoy who calls you blood traitor. Why, of all people, did you choose him?” Harry asked.
“Because I treat her like a lady.” Draco said simply.
“Hold your tongue Malfoy.”
“Are you saying I treated her badly?” Harry said his temper getting to the all time max. He could feel his cheeks radiating heat. His hand gripped his wand tightly in his pocket, and he could feel the fire in his eyes.
“Well first of all you made her cry because you broke her heart. She never cries. Second, you just left her to cry by herself. So yes. I do think you treated her badly.” Draco said egging him on.
Harry took out his wand so quick he felt his wrist crack. Draco took his out also, but didn’t point it at him. He just had it out in case he needed to protect himself. Ron made no attempt to restrain Harry. He looked ready to pull his wand out too.
“Don’t-
ever-say I treated her badly.” Harry snarled. Draco merely smirked at him and walked away.
Ginny looked murderous, but when she talked, it came out calm. “First of all, Ron, your not my dad. So stop trying to be him. Second, Harry, we’re not together anymore. So I would really appreciate it if you didn’t treat my boyfriend-“
“Boyfriend?” Harry and Ron said in union.
“Yes. Boyfriend. Now leave us both alone, ok?” she said and stormed away.
Hope you liked it!
