The door swings open to reveal a dank and dusty room which has clearly been vacant for years. White sheets cover the furniture, cobwebs fill every nook, cranny, corner, and everything in between. A layer of dust permeates every aspect of the room. For some reason, all you can do is stand and stare inside.

Though the door swung open easily, a strange barrier prohibits the living from entering this room. The barrier was put in place by Marcella Riddle the term after her unfortunate demise and protected the peace and quiet of the ghosts still residing at Hogwarts. The room has laid quietly in the years since the young Hogwarts ghosts reattained their bodies.

Kylie had been spending some time exploring the castle when she stumbled across this room.
Whoa. she thought to herself. It was.. creepy..
She only wished she knew a way to get past this barrier.. get a closer look..

In all her time here, almost two years, Jule had never come across this room. Everything was dusty, covered with white cloths, and just plain CREEPY. But it didn't seem to bother Jule. It was already a strange year, and it was only January. By this time last year, two floors were flooded. It was then she remembered when the Grindylow bit her on the leg. Shivers went up her spine, as she walked around, exploring the room some more.

Kylie saw another girl in the room whom she didn't she knew.. it startled her at first, seeing her.. "Excuse me.. I don't believe we've met. Kylie." She said, shooting her hand towards the other girl.

"Hmm?" Jule turned around to see someone, she didn't see before when she first walked in here. "Oh. Ello, I'm Jule," she shook Kylie's hand. "So how did you find this room?" she asked her. Telling from her height and slight shyness, Jule could tell Kylie was a first year. She's only met a few of them, since they were mostly in classes or doing homework.

Kylie shrugged. "I have a taste for adventure." She said, wittily. "I was bored.. so I decided I'd explore the castle a bit." Looking around the room once more, she became curious of how the other girl found this place. "What about you?"

Destiny stopped in front of the door. This seemed like the right place. She was breathing heavy from practically running up all them steps. 'I think this is the place.' It didn't really seem like a place to hold ghosts. Who would make this room anyway. Getting a burst of bravery, which seemed to happening a lot tonight, she opened the door. Mouth hanging open, Destiny stepped closer but couldn't get any nearer. She turned to look at Evelyn and shrugged. 'I can't get in!'

So turning to face the opened door Destiny yelled, 'Myrtle!! Are you in here??'

"What do you mean you can't get in?" Evelyn frowned, taking a little step closer. Putting her hand out, she found that she couldn't get any closer. Like an invisible wall was placed there. "Guess the 'spirits' or whatever really want their privacy."

Moving a little back, she suddenly had a sense that she didn't want to be here, or shouldn't be here. Taking a few more steps back, Evelyn leaned a little sideways so she could look into the room, noticing all the white sheet covered furniture, and dust, and spider...webs...*shiver* Yup, that was definitely the reason. "Myrtle?" she called quietly, shrinking back a little. It didn't seem like a place the ghost would be, but you never know..."You there?"

Destiny watched as Evelyn tried to enter the room. Standing on her tip toes to try to see over Evelyn and into the room. She figured the room would look much different but what could she expect from a bunch of spirits?
It didn't seem like any spirit or ghost was in the room. Destiny was now getting frustrated with this ghost hunt. 'MYRTLE WHERE ARE YOU?'

'Do you have any other ideas?' Destiny asked turning her back to the door.

With a frustrated sigh, Evelyn leaned against the wall, pounding her fists onto it while closing her eyes, trying to think of what to do. "If I were a ghost...namely a really weird one with glasses that's probably obsessed with Jake...where would I be?" Taking a few deep breathes and thinking of anything that might help them, her eyes suddenly opened in realization. "I ...would be stalking Jake. But we don't know where he ran off to!"

Still leaning on the wall, Evelyn turned to Destiny, crossing her arms and legs and let her head fall to the side on her shoulder. "We need to find these two quicker than our pace at the moment. Who knows how many people are looking already. So forget the ghost for a moment. If you were LouAnn, where would you run off to..." Trailing off, she suddenly rolled her eyes. "I didn't even think about checking the Gryffindor common room. But she was probably running after Jake. Then where would Jake go? If he went to his common room than surely she wouldn't be able to go as well. But then where would she go? She seemed upset...maybe to talk to someone? Or back to her own common room..."

Rambling to herself, Evelyn started to walk back and forth, wall to wall, staring down at the ground. "Maybe Jake went to go talk to somebody? But who...and would LouAnn still follow him? And where would this ghost be after she disappeared. Not in the bathroom or Spirit room...Merlin we need those house points!" Too much work and too big of a castle to find two people...umm...one person and a ghost!

Destiny stared at Evelyn as she talked, and talked and talked, nodding every once in a while to let her know she followed what she was saying, or tried to follow. 'Well I was wondering why Jake's name wasn't on that parchment from Kazi? Maybe he already has him?' So if Myrtle and LouAnn were actually following Jake, Kazi would already have them, so there would be no need for the wanted piece of parchment. 'I don't think they would go after Jake. A group is easier to catch than a single person. They would've split up.' Or at least that's what Destiny would've done.
But where would she go to be alone? Not the common room, too many people there. Maybe outside somewhere, but it was awfully cold to be hiding out there. The library? It was a 'quiet' place and not to many people would be there since they were all at that Death Day party. 'If I wanted to hide, on the day of a party, I'd go to the library.'

Evelyn thought over what Destiny had said. It was true, they would have split up to make it much harder to find them, but what she said about the library was what caught her attention. The library? Really? Well, that's where Evelyn would go too. She loved to read and she always hid in their family library at home when upset or angry. "The library?" she repeated, weighing the option.

The library was the opposite way of the Gryffindor common room though. If they were wrong, then they would have to run ALL the way back up to here...Sighing, Evelyn stopped pacing and looked at her friend. The library did seem like a good choice to hide..."Alright. C'mon! Someone might already be there if LouAnn is there!" Grabbing Destiny's hand, Evelyn started to sprint off towards the library, hoping that it was the right place and hopefully they got their first.
