Following a snow-cleared pathway, Professor Morgan led her group in silence. As the got closer, she slowed her pace to a mere tiptoe until she found an adequate spot, a safe distance from the Maze. Turning to address the students, she lifted her hand and whispered, "This is about as close as we are going to get. Lay your blankets down here and take a seat. QUIETLY," she added, holding her finger up to her lips. "Shhh."

She settled herself down on her blanket, laid on her stomach and rested her chin on her hands. It wasn't the greatest vantage point but it would do.

With her arms completely full, the Care of Magical Creatures professor left her hut and headed down the all-too-familiar path. Although it was edging midnight; the eerie blue light of the full moon was shining strong enough to lluminate her way. She carried with her an overly large box full of glass lanterns and jars, along with one small box of muggle matches. Worn over her shoulder was a canvas bag she had stuffed as full as she could manage, with warm, quilted blankets.

As the path suddenly gave way into a large open clearing, Professor Morgan breathed a small sigh of relief. Poor Iliana was simply not used to setting up for class without the use magic and her aching arms were becoming increasingly heavy from fatigue. When finally she'd reached the center of the clearing, she stopped and slowly set the heavy items on the ground.

One by one, Iliana removed each latern from the box then lit a match. Once all the laterns were lit, she pulled out the blankets and spread them on the ground. There didn't seem to be enough, but it was just going to have to do.

Taking a few steps back, she looked over her outdoor classroom and smiled. The students need never know she was working without her wand. With that thought, she sat down on a nearby tree stump and waited for the students to trickle in.
