Greetings and Salutations!
As some of you may know, certain people have been dared to write ffs in the Duck Duck Goose - DARE! thread. These have in turn been dared in kind. It has, in short, developed into a rather bad habit, which we find ourselves unable to break. We, who have repeadedly dared and been dared want more. We in fact have an insatiable appetite for more. Which brings us to the point:
Cassirin, Lotus and myself are the Elite Evil FF darers. BE AFRAID! BE VERY AFRAID!
YOU are our victims...
Here's how it works. One of us will issue a challenge, and a date by which it must be completed. Then, you, the dared, at at least those of you who dare to take dares, will post your completed ff where it belongs, in the FF section of this site- NOT here- and post a reply HERE supplying us with a link to your fic.
If you complete an FF- you become a member of the Elite, and may post dare of your own.
As soon as my fellow Elite have added their oppionion on all of this, the first chalenge will be posted and the game will begin!

I have updated this with the following explanations, because, for some reason, people have not found the above clear enough. The evil Zymurgy will now spell out the rules in small easy words, so that you can understand:

To become a member of the elite:

1) Choose any of the available dares. Lotus has these on the first page. YES more than one person can accept the same dare!

2) Write your FF. You can post it all in one big post, or in segments, no problem. But it must be done by the due date. (Although we have not been known to go to your house and steal your jelly donuts if your ff is late, and we have been known to extend deadlines for various reasons, it does help if it's posted on time, or if, for whatever reason, you find yourself unable to finish on time, you come here and tell us why)

3) If you have not already got an FF you want to use, go to Grimauld, and click on new topic. You give your story a title and a basic storyline, then you add all your subsequent dares into it. Once your new topic has been approved, (which could take only a day or up to aweek) each time you add more to your story you post it as a reply. Be sure to post your story in the correct section. Usually, that section is "Comedy," and be sure you put yours there. People looking for ship storys won't take kindly to unexpectadly finding a story about Snape on skiis. One person has done a dare as a poem, and it was therefor in the Poetry section. Be sure you read ALL THE RULES before you post your ff, so that the mods will love you.

Then once your story is up, PM Cassirin with a link to it and post one in the thread too. Cass will add you to the front page list of members, and we will all have a party and welcom you to our evil band.

To make a link in your post: Copy the address of what you want to appear then click on the http:// button and paste it in. Click ok and type the title of whatever it is, then click ok again.

In all probability, you will accept more dares than one, and we sincerely hope you do so. So, when you do, we would apreciate it, if you added these to the ff you already have! Why? First, so that we can all find it. Second, so that you do not have to once again go through the aproval process. Three so that the mods love you very much for not cluttering Arithmancy. Four so that your fans can always find your work. Five to eliminate the need to search around for various dares.

Evil in an Elegant Way. (We follow the rules, and manage to be evil and devious anyway. For those of you wondering how that can be true, look up Evil in your dictionary. You'll be suprized)

WE ALL :wub: THE MODS! (In other words, we respect that they take valuable time out of their personal lives to work this sight. Without them, we would not be here. If you bash the mods in this thread, Zymurgy the Founder will personally see to it that you find a screwt in your underwear drawer)

And (though I've said it before, it bears repeating) NO PROPHANITY! If we catch you with ANYTHING nasty and against the rules of SS in your ff, we will expell you from the Elite.

*The Patil twins must fight over something silly.
*There must be a polar bear and five penguins.
*Someone is addicted to hot cocoa and/or soup.
*Someone says "Except for the part where that isn't my shoe."
*Include lyrics from your favorite song in some way.
Due date: January 18th

evlpez's dare:
* Ron wants a magical nose job for some reason.
* Someone sings in the rain, a serenade to the Queen of Cupcaketopia (PM Cassirin to find out who that is, if you're not sure. baha!).
* Someone is cloned.
* The Hogwarts house elves decide to serve nothing but marshmallows for breakfast.
* Include the following: A telephone, styrofoam, a pig sty, pigs in a blanket, blanket of secrecy.
Due date: January 18th


I am putting a limit on dares posted, from now on only 10 dares should be up at a time. Unless it is a n00bie member posting it, they are allowed to post their first dare at any time, just tell me it's your first.
Also we would prefer no more than 6 requirements to a dare.
Once a dare is submitted be patient, the mods will get to it when they can.

1) The story must be set in Marauders erra.
2) Snape must make soup in his cauldron and lose house points for this.
3) Lilly must say "Chocolate!? Not again..."
4) Remus' "condition" must be discovered by his friends.
5) Sirius must say, "And if I were a sock, I'd be wool."

And lastly... someone must begin to sing Christmas carols.

Post your storys before November 10th. And when you've finished them, kindly post your reply in here. Do NOT post your story here. And any inapropriate material in your story- and you will be expelled from the Evil Elite. So watch it.

No, you don't have to do it if you don't want to. The chalenge is for all. Anybody who feals up to it. The more the merrier- and funnyer this will get! All clear on that now? You are also free to post a chalenge for everybody if you are one of the Elite.

One more thing, if you accept the challenge, say so.
Say something like, I ....... formally accept your challenge.
Or whatever, you get the idea.

~There is no specific length to a dare.
~You are only limited by your own creativity.

PS. Anyone who just comes to have a look here, is more than welcome to post comments or whatever, without having to accept a dare.
You are only obliged to complete a dare once you have formaly accepted it. Ok.

PPS. As you can see, shameless publicity is allowed in regards to a FF Dare you have completed.
