You can apply for any of the departments that are currently in need of employees (as listed in the Job Postings thread.) You will then be placed in a department and a division. If you have a request for a particular position, you can note that on your application and we will take that into consideration when reviewing your application.

In the Employment Office (the subforum that this thread exists in), there is a thread that says New Employee Application. Follow the instructions and click the link in that thread to apply.

You were a member of a Ministry Department before, correct? If so, then you could fill out the form found in this thread.... =]

We try to keep positions in the Ministry as close to canon as possible and so, we don't have any particular ambassadors to or from countries, because they were never really mentioned in the books. However, you are more than welcome to have your character be a transfer from the Greek Ministry and play up your theme that way.

If you're referring to the badges on the post profiles (like the one under my name), those are usertitles placed on the profiles of the Department and Divison Heads only

You don't need to have participated in the RPG School to apply for the Ministry RPG. You can merely pretend that your character attended Hogwarts as a child and has graduated either recently or years ago (depending on the age you give your character). Simply fill out the application as you think your character would fill out the application and you'll be all set!

I have a ministry character but I don't RP with her much. Is it possible to 'delete' her, and start over fresh? As in, submit a new application with a new character? Thanks

yes, It is possible, but you can also request transfer now, so you can keep your old character but start to RP with her more

You have two options:

1. You can change the character you RP, but remain within the same department. This doesn't require you to fill out a new application, but merely to inform your department head that you are changing your character.

2. IF you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for a transfer. You would simply click the link in the transfer application thread and submit your application. I should tell you, however, that transfers are awarded first to people who are active within the Ministry and that we can't always transfer you to your first choice location because not every Department is hiring. Review the Job Postings board for information on which areas are seeking employees. When you arrive in your new department, you can choose to RP as a new character if you so wish.

When and how do I find out if I get the job I want or not?

The department head for your department will PM you with your placement within 2-3 days after submission of your application. Good luck! =)

You can have a school charrie and a Ministry charrie at the same time.
