So, figured i would start this thread for when Emma does some future films we can get together and talk about it.

I know she has done "Ballet Shoes" however i personally have not sat down to watch it yet as the plot doesn't really interest me. However, i am curious to see how she performs in a different character so i will eventually get to it.

Also, she has recently finished filmed "My Week With Marilyn" which i believe she plays an assistant to Marilyn Monroe named Lucy. Film is supposed to come out in 2011 and also features Michelle Williams of "Dawson's Creek" fame and veteran actors such as Kenneth Branagh (Chamber of Secrets), Judi Dench, and Julia Ormond.

So, who has seen "Ballet Shoes" and who is looking forward to her future work?

I own Ballet Shoes. The plot itself is nothing impressive, but Emma does some wonderful acting in it. It's really refreshing to see her play other roles besides Hermione even though she does so well at it. It allows her to branch out and let us see what other roles she can pull off well.

Cool deal. One thing i was wondering about that role was from what i read she plays a character who is trying to be an actress out of the 3 sisters. So i was wondering how that would translate in the film since Emma is generally so flawless with acting ability.

Well in the plot there is a conflict because one of the younger sisters gets on stage which makes Emma's character jealous because she is one who dreams of acting. There are a number of scenes throughout the film where it's just the three sisters talking or arguing. The film doesn't spend a lot of time watching them pursue what they all want to do. It's just dreams they have.

Hey there! Well i haven't seen any of Emma's movies except that in HP as Hermione, so i have no clue how's her acting in other movies.

I've seen Ballet Shoes and have to say that Emma was really good in that movie. I did not think the movie itself was great but that has nothing to do with her acting. I just wasn't fond of the plot. It wasn't terrible though.

Yea, the plot is the only thing holding me back from watching it right now. But i am anxious to see how she performed in that.

Evidently there's been a rumor that Emma might star in "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower" with Logan Lerman. But ive only seen it as a rumor right now.

I'm pretty sure that is confirmed but I will look into it

I've seen Ballet Shoes; a cute movie. She acted very well in it. I think her role in Ballet Shoes may have been somewhat of a parallel to her real life (probably why she took the role). I've also heard her a lil bit in the movie the Tale of Despareaux, however, I haven't seen the whole movie. And Perks of Being a Wallflower has been confirmed can't wait to see her other works she has in the future. Of course, she will always be remembered as the bushy haired witch we all know and love

Yea, i know she completed the movie "My Week with Marilyn" but dont know if its been released yet or not. And looking forward to "Perks" soon.

I haven't seen any of those movies yet but I've read the plot of Ballet Shoes. Need to DL all of those and enjoy myself.

I have seen Ballet shoes many many times as I have downloaded it. Story is good, everyone has acted well in there. But the only person I keep watching this movie for is our very own Miss Watson. She is absolutely PERFECT in this film in every way, acting and beauty.
I only watch it for her she is absolutely gorgeous in every single scene. Any scene without her seems incomplete, as a matter of fact I watch a few of her scenes from this movie before I fall asleep every night in the hopes that she enters my dreams and interacts with me. So if you have not seen it yet watch it at least once just to see Emma in there.
I am also very much waiting for her future projects the ones that have been made and all others that she will act in over her whole career.

Other than HP i haven't watch her in any movies yet. I used to own the Ballet Shoes but when i migrated back in South Korea, I left it back in new York. Shame. But i really loved her as hermione. She portrayed her really well. I think if any girl portrayed Hermione, i would have died deep inside.

Anyone else getting excited for "My Week with Marilyn"? Also looking forward to "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" in 2012.

ME!!!!!! I cant wait to see her in a movie again!!

She's already got "Perks" done and now working on "Bling Ring" and soon to be working on "Your Voice in My Head" teaming up with Yates again.
