The red light on the door lets those outside know that the room is occupied. Wouldn’t want to open the door while the room was filled with water now, would you?

A waterproof, airtight storage cabinet can be found near the door, if you require rain jackets, boots, jars, buckets, etc, it's contents protected from whatever you might get up to in this room.
