Hey there, Le!! I've got a question, and an idea....first off...how often is the ECFC newsletter released??

And if it's not released often, why don't we release it more often, and have a special part sent to active members in other clubs, and see if we could get them to join ECFC? It would mean more members, and we'd know that they'd be active, since they would already be active in other clubs.

Just a thought!

Liz, I'm so glad you brought this up! I have been thinking about the newsletter I want to hear ALL of your ideas, so that we can maximize the tastiness of it! I want it to be spectacular. SO, what I'd like for you to do, please, is to make something of a list. What you want to be in the newsletter, what you want discussed in the newsletter, who we will need to make a good newsletter, and any other little tid-bits you wany to throw in This will be so much fun!

Alright, well, I was wondering, what exactly is IN the newsletter right now? Like is it just the things you PMed me about that I'm supposed to do? Because if it's possible, I'm thinking of something wickedly wonderful for this newsletter...like a whole thing.

Here's a bit of my idea:
First off, we could have the normal stuff that's in there, like how the original is, like the new members, and updated things, such as the games and things.

But then I was thinking that we could advertise graphics contests, sort of like a mini newspaper, and then we could be sort of like the S.S. Quill. I'm a Journalist on the Quill, and even though there are so many other Journalists on there, I was thinking that we could possibly create something to that extent. Obviously not that large, but something smaller, and more frequent. Because the obvious point of the newsletter is to inform the current members of what we're doing in the forum, and to enlist new members. Specifically ones that will be as active as us.

If there's anything else I may have forgotten, let me know. ^^ I really want to make this club the best one out there!!! *cheers for the ECFC*

That's an interesting idea. Do you have a link to the quill? I'd like to take a look-see and find out what it is. I think your idea is a great one We can have a thread for the newsletter as well as sending it to members. Just in case forum-stalkers want to see it.

Good question... I'm not sure, but we could grab some new officers, we were going to do that already.

2. Highlights on Members- I think we should highlight an active member every time the newsletter is released. Like, do an interview with the member, or have them PM either of us with a short biography about themselves, and then we could transform that into an interesting article.

3. ECFC Updates- pretty self-explanatory. Just updates like, new members, existing members, etc.

Love it! I think it's great I'll change the name asap.

This is good! But I don't think we should do an interview, beleive me... It takes a Looooooooong time to edit and put together... We could give them a graphic set though

Awesome, I'll make sure to make a list of weekly new members. That's good.

Make sure that on posting new threads for games to include the rules part of it so that everyone will know how to play the games and such.

As to your newletter, when I used to do them for SBFC, I would link back to the different threads that I was talking about so that who was reading to check it out.

I also announced different games, contest and other things going on around the house or within the FC Forum itself like with WIYM.

Another thing that someone could do, *looks to the graphics peeps*, is make a banner for the newsletter than can be used for each one and make it special, like what you did for with the different pictures and such, Le.

But of course!! Why wouldn't I be dedicated to this?!! I felt horrible that I hadn't been posting more often in the thread before we got the forum, and I became Secretary..and I'm trying to make up for it now, by making this the most awesomeness FC ever!!
