Tom does such a great job acting the part of Draco that he has really come to represent what I think of as how Draco should look now, even though that may not have been how I imagined him when I first read the book (am I making sense?)

I didn't really mean that Draco was meant to be ugly, just that his character's personality was meant to be so revolting that you could care less if he was good looking. With Tom, I think he's a bit too boyish and adorable to be revolting. LoL!

Tiffanie - That's very true! I think once we saw Tom portray Draco on the screen, that's really when most of us fell in love with him.

I also think Tom does a VERY good job at acting out Draco's attitude. Even though he's not how I pictured Draco in the books, he's made Draco's attitude very like Draco in the books =]

You make perfect sense! That's exactly what I have gone through.
I never pictured Draco to be very attractive while reading the books but while watching the movie I do picture Draco attractive. How well Tom portrays Draco just convinced that that is the way Draco is supposed to look like.

He must have met her at Hogwarts. I'm sure he did because her sister (Daphne) attended Hogwarts, so they probably met at some time or another. Daphne probably introduced her to Draco.

Also, I know it's hard to have a general discussion but we can also discuss in the threads that are already in existance as well. And don't forget that you can chat, but you have to keep it to a minimum and make sure we keep up with discussing.

I don't know if Draco met her at Hogwarts. I mean, I'm sure he knew Daphne, but Amortia Greengrass was younger, so what if she didn't know Draco in school? Perhaps some weird Pureblood Family Gathering???

I wonder about that, too, in a way, if it could have been at a gathering. It may be that one of the pureblood families threw a big party, a ball or something, and that's how they became acquainted.

I don't like her. But it's not because she went to the Yule ball with Draco and he is her only friend that's a girl etc, there was something about her that I didn't like, but I can't put my finger on it. =/

Honestly, I think Draco only showed interest in Pansy Parkinson because she was there and doted on him like woah. She was absolutely abnoxious, but I love reading her in certain fanfictions. Some people make me like her, but thats because it's there own version of Pansy and I can handle it. haha.

I couldn't see Draco with her anyways. I mean, I don't think he actually liked her.

I don't think he ever cared for her either, and if they had gotten married it would never have lasted. And yes, she was totally obnoxious. Even though I did write a FF from her POV (it's called Pansy's Secret and is on this site) and I don't think I made her so horrible a person in that one. But all and on, she was pretty insufferable from the way JKR portrayed her in the books.
