I think he'd be a better father than Lucius. I expect he'd spoil his children, but he'd probably be a tad bit nicer to them. I think he'd really love them, and try his best for them. | |

I think Draco would be a much better father than Lucius. Draco would spoil his son and give him anything he wants like Lucius was to him but I don't think Draco would teach him to be against Muggle-borns so much. Maybe muggles yes, but not muggle-borns. And I don't think Draco would ever put Scorpious's life in danger by making him join a sinister group of evil wizards. | |

I agree, I think Draco would far surpass Lucius at fatherhood (is that a word). I think that he'd learn from Lucius' mistakes, and not be so overbearing and not expect so much from his kids. Yeh he'd probably spoil them, but if you had as much money as the Malfoys you would wouldn't you? I think there'd be certain aspects that he's expect a lot from them, especially his son with quidditch etc, but he wouldn't be as bad as Lucius. I think that he'd probably not be the most emotional of fathers, as it always seems like he'd be the type not to show his feelings, but in general I think he'd be a pretty good Dad. | |

Draco as a father... I think he is probably a very traditional wizard and raised his son in true pure-blood fashion, but without the terrible views on Muggles and Muggles-borns and Half-bloods. I think he loves his son very much and is probably a really good father. I could imagine his son and Albus becoming great friends and Draco being happy about that. Draco Malfoy as a father. Very interesting topic. I see Draco being a fairly decent father. He'd probably interact with his son in a different manner than Lucius did but Draco would still teach his son to be noble and such things that a Malfoy is expected to be. Of course his son would be told not to play with Weasleys since I don't think that rivalry will ever stop. I think the boy would still be taught that his family is a very noble and pure family but he wouldn't be pressured into pleasing Draco as much as Draco was pressured into pleasing Lucius. Still Draco would want his child to beat out the other kids because that's just how he rolls | |

I reckon Draco would be a good father. I don't think as bad as Lucius, but he won't be the best father in the world.
I agree that he will keep to the tradition of teaching his son to be proud of being pureblood.
But I don't think he'll treat him badly, probobly spoil him like Lucius did with Draco. | |

I think in some ways Draco would be like his own Father, Lucius. Draco would probably teach his son that being a Malfoy makes you noble and superior, and he would teach Scorpius that he should be proud of being pureblood. I don't think he'd allow his son to insult Muggleborns, however.
I don't think Draco would ever force Scorpius to do something he didn't want to do.. I think he'd be a pretty good Father.  |

I think that Draco will be a lot better that lucuis was. Yes, he will probably teach Scorpius to be proud of his pure blood and to keep it that way. But I think that he will have a some what cival attitude towards others with muggle-blood. He will definetly spoil his children and expect a lot from them but only in the areas he knows they want to do like groups, though I dont think he would approve if Scorpius joined S.P.E.W.

I think Draco is a good father. I think that his experiences with Harry changed him for the better, for one he is no longer corrupted by the dark side . I think that Lucius' role model as far as a father also made Draco think...in the back of his mind, that he didn't want to be that kind of father. I mean sure he'll push his kids to do well and have friendly competition with friends and other students, but I dont' think he'll teach his kids to hate at all. I think being forced to almost kill Dumbledore and everything that happened during his 7th year at Hogwarts scarred him, for lack of a better term, and I think he woulda made a promise to himself not to put his kids in any danger. I also think he will spoil his children, not with gifts and money, but with love. | |

honestly... I think Draco would be a good father. but first-- he would probably have to be a lot older.(like in the Epilouge(?) )...
I still dont think that Draco will turn out to be like Lucius. Even when he became a deatheater... he still couldnt kill. and that right there proves that he has a heart. 
Most likely... he would spoil his children, make them feel important- and most likely tell them how great Pure-bloods are. ( )  | |

Ok, now I think of it, it's confusing when i try to distinguish between the Draco in the series, and the image of Draco formed in many of the fanfics I've read - Dramione.
But anyway, I think he'd be a pretty good Dad. More understanding than his father, that's for sure, and definately not adamant at teaching his son to be a cold-hearted follower of Voldemort.
He'd teach his kids the love for Quidditch he himself has, and probably his love to compete - and win at any cost.
