Wow, Wiley was in for a treat. The twenty three year old just HAPPENED to arrive in Diagon Alley the day they were having some sort of festival. What luck! But things cost money and he most definitely didn't want to spend all the money he had on him at the festival no matter how much the twenty three year old loved food. He had other sorts of things that weren't exactly on the lot that he knew he'd want later.

And by later he meant night time and not in Diagon Alley later. As in Hilton and him bonding time with the possibility of some Double M. So for now he just browsed the tables, trying to decide between a banshee's banana juice and the fruit fiesta juice. Mm. Difficult decisions.

Kat absolutely just needed to get out of her house this summer since her family had no plans at all. After hearing this summer festival from her sister, the Slytherin definitely wanted to get out there and just party. Well, if a festival meant party then that was it. She found out that Di was going to host one of the booths in the festival. Kat wanted to tag along, but she promised her older sister that she wouldn't cause any trouble. SNORT. Please. Like Kat would cause any trouble. She didn't get the Slytherin prefect's badge for nothing.

She even dragged Elise with her. The festival was big but only one place had caught Kat's interest: the foods and refreshments corner. And check out ALL the food. The Slytherin felt like she was in seventh heaven.

"Do you want anything?" Kat asked her bestie.

Well of course the first place she would stop at would be the food, right? Cat couldn't imagine any reason why not, food was most obviously the importance here anyway. Besides, it had been like a whole hour since she last ate. Growing girls need food.

And lemonade. Oohhhh. Cat was getting one of those for sure.

She was debating a sandwich and the merits of avocado when Cat inserted herself in beside someone else. A quick side eye told her she knew this someone else, so she turned to look fully and grinned, "HI WILEY."

Wade was liking his summer, the amount of happy moments going on ever since last term, was just what he needed. But, just like that excessive ice cream happiness, there was a need for him to take a little break. Maybe not nap, since napping in a public event was for older people in Wade's point of view, heh.

Wade got himself a hamburger with extra pickles (nom, nom) and a bottle of butterbeer, before paying his 12 sickles and 30 knuts so he could have a bite and rest at one of the spots. He took a goood delicious bite into the pickle-ly goodness in the burger. Yuuuum. Another good thing for why this was public, he could possibly see his old mates around, if they were here of course.

Christmas stopped at the festival food and refreshment stand and she was waiting for a chance to get something to eat but she hoped that she would hopefully meet somebody new while waiting

Speaking out loud to himself, as was his style, "Lemonade or Juice? M-MM-MM-HM." He half hoped someone would tell him which as he wasn't in a decision making mindset. He was in a headachey mindset which didn't go with decision making.

If only they had taste-testing of the drinks. That might make this easier. Or harder. He wasn't so sure.

Slightly startled upon hearing his name, Wiley tilted his head in the direction.. and then down. Oh. "Hiya, Kitten. What brings you here on this overly bright festival filling day, hmmm?" It was weird seeing her face not on a computer screen. Most definitely. He just barely resisted the urge to pat her on the head and instead just gave her a grin.

"Lemonade. Go with lemonade. I'm going with lemonade." Cat nodded and paid for the said lemonade. Yummy. "I'm also thinking about a sandwich but there's too many yummy options and while I probably could eat all of them, I don't think that's very lady like, right?"

She lifted her eyes... and then her chin so she could look up at Wiley and grinned. "Hi. I'm here for the food." That was mostly true, actually. She glanced around, "Is it overly bright today?" Huh.

"Mmm. It does sound good. But it sounds explosive. And explosive doesn't sound overly appetizing right now. I want mellow and cold. Also delicious." Wiley stuck his hand in his pocket and paid for the lemonade anyway. It wasn't for himself, no. He was probably going to offer it up to a random lady. Or a Cat. Once she finished her own. "It's not, no. But no one said you had to be lady-like at a festival. You don't have to be lady-like around me any hows."

He grinned some more at her and held the lemonade close. Mm. Coldness felt nice. "Just the food? Aren't there fun things for young ones like you?" Yes. There was a kiddie station. He saw that on his way over here. But he was about 52% sure that she was too old for that. "Do they sell sunglasses here? I may have left a collection of them at Hilton's."

Awar strolled around the festival while he brother finished up work at the Ministry. In all honesty, she rather be at school, but this festival seemed to look highly entertaining and well, at least she was back home with Manolo. As usual, the scent of delicious food lured her here. Now the question was...what should she eat?!

Growing rather hungry, Ethan decided to head over to the refreshment area to get Minerva and himself something to eat. She had wanted to stop and say hello to a few of the younger badgers that he didn't really know, so, after a quick kiss to the cheek, he told her he'd run up ahead real quick and order some food. That way, it would be ready when she was done without the wait, and then they could catch up to each other when she was done visiting.

The former Ravenclaw approached one of the vendors, green eyes scanning the menu hanging at the front. He finally decided on a couple paninos and two peachtree fizzing teas for the two of them. Once he paid and got his order a few minutes later.. which, by his own admission was a lot faster than he thought, he took the package and cups and headed back towards the attractions. But a familiar face made him stop.

"Wade.." he called towards the boy as he spotted him sitting at one of the tables set up especially for patrons. He walked over to his former classmate, offering a friendly smile. "Fun festival, yeah?" At least Ethan thought so.. he hadn't been to one of these in a while. "Having a good summer so far?"

Today was probably the first day all summer that Elise had quite literally been dragged to this festival in Diagon Alley with barely enough time to pack her bag. It was only 9 in the morning, Kat. Far too early to even think of going to Diagon and where was this girl even headed? Oh, the food stall. That was a lot of food and it didn't look very vegetarian-friendly.

Squinting at the menu and turning back to her bestie, she sighed. "I knew this was going to happen," she said, pulling a small container full of carrot sticks. The world was not made for people like her and if she had to look like a rabbit in public, well, she didn't care. "I'll just have an Exploding Lemonade." It was the only thing even remotely edible there and it wasn't even food.

Well, Kat didn't really want to drag anyone to the festival because her sister was here... but Di said she was going to host a booth and Kat didn't want to tag along with her. Kat was more of the adventurous type between the two but she didn't like adventure without a companion, you know? Her first choice would always be Elise when it came to bringing someone with her to a place out of the house, if it wasn't a family member at least.

Kat's eyes scanned the food on the table and the menu. No meat. Of course, she knew her bestie was a vegetarian. Too bad though, because the sandwiches looked delicious. Good thing Elise had carrot sticks? "You're too prepared for things." Kat wasn't, apparently. "And you're gonna have to pay for your Lemonade too." The Slytherin then paid for a Caesar Salad and a glass of fruit fiesta juice. Yeaaaah... Dylan's whole practice had affected her a lot and she was used to it.

Oh, Kat wasn't going to pay for her? That was fine, though. It was really just a glass of lemonade. A glass of really good lemonade, but lemonade nonetheless. Pulling a few coins from her bag and sliding them across the table, she grinned at the stall person. Thank you for your lemonade. It is appreciated with knuts.

"It's experience," she shrugged. "The world isn't vegetarian-friendly and you get used t-" What was that her bestie was holding? Merlin's pants. A salad? "You're eating a salad?" Blink. Blink.

Maybe this would be a good moment to take a bite of carrot stick.

Kat was going to pay for the lemonade. Yeah, she'll pay later because she didn't have any change for her galleons. How smart of her sister to have given her all galleons right? The Slytherin understood it though, because Di might needed the sickles and knuts for some reasons. Whatever those reasons were anyway. "I'll play you back after I get my galleons changed." They were ooooh so shiny and gold, you see? She needed some silver and bronze with them.

After sliding a galleon or two, she picked up the change. Finally some sickles and knuts. Kat then gave Elise exactly 2 sickles and 15 knuts. "Debt paid, Ma'am," she said. And then... oh. Uhm. Salad, yeah. Kat got salad. "What's wrong with salad?" Besides the 2 sickles and 15 knuts, Elise got a head tilt too.

"You don't have to," Elise started to protest. It was her drink, after all. Not Kat's. Hers. Kat didn't have to pay for her, gosh. It was just a lemonade, she could afford it with her shiny new salary that started soon-ish. "Really. Don't."

But it was far too late. Kat had already all but shoved the 2 sickles and 15 knuts into her hand and she almost flailed just to prove her point. No flailing near the stall, though. There was food there. "Nothing wrong with salad, I was just surprised." Because salad was always Elise's think, see? Even Sierra called her Bunny Girl. Salad, vegetables, fruits and all those stuff were Elise's forte.

Cat wiggled her nose at Wiley. Heh. Someone was being all super careful today. "If I get really sick and puke everywhere will you carry me home?" Cat asked, tilting her head in his direction. See, she could handle it as long as she had a back-up plan.

"Well, I was wandering around, but this is the first stop I've made." Cat shrugged and went back to looking at the sandwich options. "What about YOU anyway? You were really... sick... yesterday." He got eyes from the Cat. "Maybe at one of the vendors?"

Today marked the first day that year that Terry had visited Diagon Alley and for some reason it felt like he hadn't been there for ages. He wandered down the cobbled street, checking out what new products were in the stores. He kept walking until he reached something unexpected.

Ooh. What was this? A festival! His eyes lit up a little as he wandered into the site. Well, this was more exciting than visiting the same shops he had for years, despite how much he loved them.

He headed for the food table first to explore what was on offer. Taking a sandwich, the Slytherin's stomach grumbled a little. How was he hungry already, he hadn't eaten his breakfast that long ago. He scanned over the spread and picked up a drink as well before searching for somewhere to sit.

Preferably, now would also be a good time to find someone he knew. Terry liked being around people as much as he loved his mother's Phoenix. Which was a lot, that much was obvious. He hoped that he wouldn't be stood looking lonely for too long.

Wade had just about finished his delicious burger, and was admist of draining his butterbeer bottle to wash it down and everything, when he heard his name, called. Hm? His eyes glanced around searching for the voice until he saw one guy waving towards him. Ah, it was Ethan. A plunger-noise sounded as he removed the bottle hastily before Wade smiled back at him, scooting over so he could sit. "Oh hey, Ethan.. How've you been?" It had quite a while since they last spoke back at Hogwarts, and now they could catch up before school began again.

"It's pretty awesome, have you tried riding that hippogriff?" Even though it wasn't a live one, but meh. "There's just so much to do around here, I don't really want to leave." Oh, his summer. That brought a smile to him as he remembered what he's done so far. "Yeah, it's been a lot of fun and busy, going to Disney with Indy, and interning at QQS.. How about yours?"

Adi had been all over Diagon Alley so far. From getting his wand to riding the Mechanical Hippogriff and the Carousel. All that time he had not noticed how hungry he was. But now, passing the refreshment venue, all the aromas made him realise it. He skipped over and studied the menu at one of the vendors before placing his order.

Exploding lemonade. Frowny face. At a Diagon Alley FESTIVAL no less.

Paulie Foster mumbled something incomprehensible and waited his turn in line. Anyway. He would just get FOOD. No drink. Especially not exploding lemonade. Well.... actually he would get a cup of water because that was free and he was poor. Eventually, it was his turn up at the counter to order, so told the dude that he wanted an avocado and turkey sandwich with a cup of water. But, you know, there were kind of a lot of people there, so he had to stand off to the side and wait for his food.

This festival so far was very interesting, she hadn't had much time the previous day to check all the sections. She had only been to a couple of them, one of them being the petting zoo, which was fun especially that she was with the kid, Forrest, he was good and nice company. This day though, she had decided to get here earlier. Well, as soon as she got finished with her shift at the leaky, where she was interning.

As weird as it seemed, Cassia was hungry. Maybe that had to do with the fact that she'd been around food all day. Serving and helping with preparing. Some might got sick of the constant sight of food but she didn't. She was really hungry. Cue why she first headed towards the FOOD.

The snake tried not to look too hungry, however that was, and hoped she succeeded. Because it just wasn't cool to advance at the table and snatch a sandwich. Which she practically, did but in a nice way. Hopefully, the people around were preoccupied with their food that they wouldn't be watching.

Speaking of people, once she got a sandwich in hand, She started walking slowly taking small bites. Eating in public had its rules you know, to her and Blue at least.

As her eyes swept the crowd around her, she almost looked passed a familiar face, but then she looked more closely and walked over. "Hey, Terry!" She said excitedly greeting her friend. Whom she hadn't got time to hang out with for quite good time.

"How are YOU!?" The question followed with a huge smile as she got closer to him.

So it happened to be João who was standing right after Paulie.

The Brazilian had seen brochures of festival when he had come to meet West, and it occured to him a good idea to hang out there until he had to leave for Brazil. He was trying to like the place, see, now that he was going to work in this particular country. Currently though, he was grumpy for the way ahead. It was just too far. Magic or not, it was a lot of effort, and he was ruthlessly questioning his reasons again to come here instead of study for the exams ahead.

He was distracted and paid no attention to people around him. He studied the menu from afar and made a face. There was no alcohol. In fact, there wasn't anything good to eat or drink. His eyes lingered on 'Auror Salad' and he smiled faintly to himself, but he didn't have any apetite at all to honour Aspen. The line moved and the man in front of him ordered his meal. The sound was familiar, but João was still too distracted to pay attention. He got a glass of butterbeer, though he didn't feel like that either, and glanced over the man casually while fishing his wallet.

Then he glanced over him AGAIN to be sure. But here he was. As real as the air they were breathing.

"Paulie Foster," he greeted with an unsure smile on his face. He absent-mindedly paid for the butterbeer and held it, eyes still on Paulie, while he moved out of the line and stepped at the other side of him.

Hmm... he was going to let HIM speak first to determine how he should treat him.

Deciding that the sandwich in his hand did look edible and would give him at least some satisfaction from eating it, the Slytherin paid the vendor and moved away from the stall, not wanting to look like he was creepily hanging around for no apparent reason, or like he was up to something shifty, which he obviously was not.

Despite the house badge and the 'preconceptions' that seemed to come with being placed in the house of the Snakes, Terry was not one to engage in any activity that was likely to get him into trouble. A) Tilly, his twin, was likely to hold it against him for the rest of his life in order to get her own way and B) His mother would take away any privileges he had with looking after the magical creatures in the sanctuary they owned. Terry knew that neither was worth the 'thrill' that getting into trouble gave some people. He honestly had no idea why he was a Slytherin at all. But he liked the colour green and he liked his dorm-mates so he wasn't going to complain.

The boy took a big bite into the sandwich and shrugged a little. It tasted alright, he had tasted better but what would he expect from a festival, the food wasn't gourmet after all was it?

A voice echoed through the crowd which caused Terry to look up to see where it had come from. A familiar and very happy face came into his view and the Blonde boy smiled as she came over. "Hey Cassia" he chuckled as a greeting, flopping down on the bench behind him. "I'm alright, I've been a bit bored lately but this place has started to cheer me up" he replied. "And seeing you of course" he added on the end.

"What about you?

Paulie leaned against a street post. How long did it take to make a turkey and avocado sandwich? It was TWO things smushed between bread.

He turned to see if his sandwich was finished and, yes, it was. GOOD. Because his stomach was grumbling for it. Get in mah belleh. Paulie took the sandwich, and the water, and was in the midst of setting his cup down on a bench when he heard his name. His full name.

Now who had he run into?

lkerghbelrughaelirguehlgr. Was this for real?! First a team-up of Tori with OFFICER Aspen, now this?! This.. this was just too crazy. How was this whole visit here in England not a dream? Well, at least Joao didn't have a utility belt full of restraints and flashy badges.

"Brazil Nut," Paulie said, just as if he were saying his actual name.

He said down beside his cup of water, his sandwich in his hands. Because Paulie actually, somewhat, ironically MISSED their quips and comebacks that they had had back at Hogwarts, and there were THINGS he wanted to let Joao KNOW that he KNEW, he nodded towards the other spot on the bench. "Take a seat, if ya want." And he would take a bite of his avocado and turkey.
