| | | Quality Quidditch Supplies Staring into one of the two identical large glass windows on eitherside of the door, you see the one on the left holds several different mannequins dressed in sets of professional quidditch team robes, while the window on the right shows off the latest three broomstick types available to wizarding kind. As you tear your eyes away long enough to pay attention to your surroundings and enter the equipment shop your welcomed by the warm aroma of fresh cookies, sitting on the shopkeepers counter out of the way of customers checking out. A small, yet still clearly noticeable sign is placed beside the plate of quidditch related cookies that reads: 'Feel free to take one or two; Broomsticks = Peanut butter, Bludgers = Chocolate Chip, Quaffles = Oatmeal Raisin and Snitches = Cinnamon & Sugar' in small, neat, ever so slightly slanted letters. **Made by Rachie! (BanaBatGirl)**
Gazing around the store, you see displays of brooms covering every inch of wall space with just enough room around them so it doesn't look crowded; Each and every broom put out for viewing is different from another, from a series of Cleansweeps to Comets, Firebolts and Nimbus' - you name it, look closer they've probably got it. Of course, they can't put everything out in the open. Best ask if your having troubles finding something, or are simply curious and have a question.
Golden Snitches and Bludgers (for obvious reasons) are both kept in the back room and need a shopkeepers assistance to get for the sake of preventing any possible chaos with either flying objects being set loose in this store; However just because Beater's Bats and Quaffles can be found in their own respected aisles and sections does NOT mean this is a toy store and children can goof around.
Whistles are on a stand near the counter, quidditch magazines are in their racks towards the front of the store, broomstick servicing kits towards the left and international quidditch team robes and other accessories (meant for fan use only, real robe sets even for school teams are kept safely in the back room) are to the right. Needing assistance? No worries, atleast one of the two shopkeepers are usually easy to spot around the quidditch supplies store; If not behind the counter waiting to ring up customers purchases, then more than likely either in the backroom or helping someone already. Be patient, they'll be with you as soon as possible.
How can you tell whose a shopkeeper out of the others shopping? Simple! Both Marco and Ben wear name tags stating their names and positions and try very hard not to forget to put these on, to save confusion for their customers. Marco is easily recognisable by his stylishly ruffled brown/blond hair. He prefers it to look like he has just gotten off the Quidditch Pitch, he thinks the ladies like it that way. He is usually a Professional Quidditch Player, but has taken up this small job to earn some extra money, and keep him grounded (but he doesn't like to admit to the latter). OOC: Please do NOT role-play for the shopkeepers, Mr Marco Denver (Jenster) OR Leah Ashford (Dee-Dee); If this happens we will either ignore or delete the post. Also please keep in mind not everyone is in the same timezone and we do have lives outside of SS, we can't be on all the time but we will reply as soon as we can. |

Grace Oliver | Reached and Spanked 1000! The Snitch
Grace walked into the shop, ready for work. Her hair was blonde today, tied up in a messy bun to keep it out of her way, as she had a feeling that it was going to be a busy one. Trade had slacked of a bit, but now summer was here, she had no doubt at all that the shop would be full, students would be flocking in and eager to see their newest products.
As much as she loved Quidditch, it did pain her to not be able to play the sport she so loved due to an "accident" when she was an up and coming player for the Appleby Arrows. But she knew she couldn't give up the game completely, so the shop would do her nicely.
Grace walked across the shop and threw her bag threw the door to the back staff room, which landed neatly by her locker. "Hey Boss," she grinned, "ready for today?"

TJ entered the shop and paused in the doorway. His green eyes sparkled in excitement at all the quidditch supplies that sat before him. Just as TJ was about to shut the door heard her call after him yet again. “Alright, Grandmother, I will just be a moment” TJ said as politely as he was able, doing his best to assure the old lady that he could make this one purchase without her assistant.
He quickly shut the door, took a deep breath, and headed towards a stack of quidditch books. The smell of leather filled the air, a smell that a young boy could breath in for hours and still not get enough. Reaching for a copy of the Quidditch rule book and Quidditch Through the ages, TJ noticed a sign that listed several quidditch publications. “Excuse me. I would like to purchase these two books and a subscription to Snitch…no, how about Quidditch world” he paused, not able to make up his mind. “Well, which would you recommend?” |

Eh. He'll take care of those healing courses later.
"'Eya Grace babe," he smirked, leaning on the counter as he looked back at the back. Nice throw, he thought as he looked back at her. "You know it, babe." Frankie winked, coming out from behind the counter. "Ahh the pleasures of owning a shop and having a lovely assistant!" He laughed, putting his arm around her and pulling her into a side hug. "Ain't it great?" Quote:

"Alrighty then," he smiled as the boy asked him for the two books. "Annnnnd you want a subscription to one of the magazines?" Frankie asked, not wanting to make a mistake. Livvy walked into the shop quietly and was surprised when the shop owner was yelling at a lady to get the camera. She gave them a confused look and then began to browse through their book collection. What exactly she was searching for, she had no idea.

Now she needed a new broom, again, why did she kept breaking her brooms? It wasn't her fault, if it wasn't for her cousin then she could still had her beautiful Nimbus safely back at home. But now she didn't, it was all a pile of wood.
The only thing good, was that her uncle was paying for her new broom, whatever she wanted. She smirk as she walked inside and went through the magazines before bringing 'Quidditch International' along with her and the DIY-broomcare book, "Hi! How are you doing today?" she asked, rather excited as she placed the book and the magazine in the counter,"I'd also like a broomstick serving kit besides this..." she said, while pointing at what she placed on the counter, "...with a Firebolt 500" she smiled, and waited for the shopkeeper to bring the broom.

When Mandi left the owl emporium she met her dad and told him about seeing her friend. He said they could meet for ice cream but he wanted her to get her broom first. So they pushed open the door chatting and walked inside. Another student was waiting in line ahead of her so they looked through a quidditch magazine to get the feel of the different broomsand decided on a Nimbus seven thousand. She knew she could not be on the team the first year but she could practice. Her dad put the money on the counter and they decide dot go to Ollivanders!

And with that, Frankie sprinted to the back room.

She held out a copy of Which Broomstick and a copy of Quidditch Through the Ages. "And, honestly, I think I'm not a kind of bossy girl, but you shouldn't yell at her like that. She was just searching for books, not stealing! Is wanting to read books illegal?" Usagi can't help but glare at the man. When it comes to book issues, believe me, her Gryffindor inner lion shows up. She eyed the little house-elf beside her, and even Crabby looked confused. Good. It meant she wasn't crazy or seeing things. She searched in her bag for the 92 galleons and 3 sickles, and found the exact amount. She grinned and the elf nodded, Crabby knew how long Kaika had been waiting to finally get a broom. "Can't I give you the money?" she almost yelled, as the shopkeeper left to the back room.
She didn't see the assistant anywhere, but she still needed to wait for him to take out her broom, she'll give him the money then.

Mariel pulled her father through the door, practically running into the shop. "Oh, Daddy, look at all the brooms!" She was in a much better mood now. Buying things - especially expensive things - always made her feel better.
Her father chuckled. "Now, Mariel," he responded, "You know first years aren't allowed on the House teams. It would be a bit of a waste to buy you a broom before you're even on the team, wouldn't it?"
Mariel pouted. She knew she was expected to play Quidditch as did all the members of her immediate family and she fully intended to, but that was still a year away and she wanted a broom now. "But Daddy, I really want the Firebolt 500. It's the best they have here and us Morgans deserve the best, right? And besides if you get it for me now, I can practice with it during the holidays, making me even more likely to make the team." Mariel looked up hopefully at him.
Her father looked down at her hopeful, puppy-dog eyes and sighed. She really did have a way of wrapping him around her finger. "All right," he said, smiling. "Let's go find the shopkeeper and see about getting you a Firebolt."

Coming out from the back with a wrapped broom, Frankie walked straight into the girl he had yelled at earlier. He chuckled at her response and petted her head. "Ahhh you children today. I was a kid once, obviously. And... I did everything you're doing right now. So I'm going to keep an eye on you, kid." Frankie smirked, walking away from her towards the girl who asked for this broom. Quote:

Before he was going to give the girl her broom, he was going to take a picture with his first customer! Ahhh the joys of being a shopkeeper! Frankie stood beside the boy, his arm around him, pulling him closer to him. Frankie squished his cheek to the boy's and beamed as if he was a five year old. "Take it now Grace, now, now!" Quote:

Moving away from the boy, he walked towards the girl, her broom in his hand. "Excuuuusee me!" He called her happily. Although, he stopped dead once he saw the elf that he didn't see at first. "Oh dear," he murmured, rubbing his chin with his free hand. "I'm sorry, I didn't see you!" Petting the elf's head, he passed the girl her broom and grinned. "Now, be very careful when you use this broom, kid. It is very fast. Very, very, very fast. Before you go and ride this broom, I want you to sign this!"
With that, Frankie pulled out a small piece of paper from his pocket and placed it from the counter. Taking out his wand, he flicked it and turned the piece of paper into a large parchment. "I the buyer am fully away of the uses of this broom. I will use it for my own pleasures, whether it is riding it or putting it on display. I, the buyer, am fully aware of the consequences of falling off this broom and I will NOT hold anything against the shopkeeper whoever it maybe."
"Please sign heeeree, annnnd here!" Frankie pointed to the two spots. He really didn't want to get blamed for anything. People injured by his brooms in St. Mungos doesn't really look good for him as he was still a healer in training. Quote:

Her father looked down at her hopeful, puppy-dog eyes and sighed. She really did have a way of wrapping him around her finger. "All right," he said, smiling. "Let's go find the shopkeeper and see about getting you a Firebolt." Before the girl could sign the paper, Frankie caught another man in the store. "Grace, go to the back and find me... uhh... Something large!" He told her, shooing her away. No man was going to take Grace! She was his shop assistant!
"Good day, Sir. And how may I help you and your lovely daughter?" Frankie asked, smiling down at the girl and then looking up at the father. "Would you like some brooms? Books? Magazines? Kits? Robes?"

"My daughter would like your best broom - the Firebolt 500 - and most certainly a servicing kit. And, what else, love?" he asked turning towards Mariel.
Mariel looked up from the stack of Quidditch books. "I think I'll take this," she said holding up a copy of Quidditch Through the Ages, "and how about a couple magazines - Quidditch World and Bludgers & Broomsticks?"

Hiroki Naoto Diagon Alley | Mrs. Ikuta Toma Sneaky Sounds Raiden slid quietly into the Quality Quidditch Supply shoppe, only pausing to look at the scribbled-on signs before he began to wander about, grinning widely at this new and exciting place. Mum had never let him near a broom. Not even for sweeping. She feared his condition that much, he supposed. But now, since he was lost at the moment and he was sure his mum had absolutely no clue where he was... he could look around the shoppe in peace.
He'd never been to a Quidditch match, he'd only ever seen his father flying on a broom twice before... but Raiden felt an inexorable urge to see what it was all about. He stared at a shelf of "Quidditch Through the Ages" books; there was money in his pocket, enough for this book... and thensome. He bit his lip thoughtfully.

It seemed that he wasn't paying that much attention to her anyway, and she relaxed a bit. Maybe, if she got bored, he would be too busy drooling over the brooms to notice. Hopefully.
Of course that if he wasn't paying attention to her, then she'd most certainly get bored. Eh.
When they got to the shop, she looked incrediously to the amount of boys with their noses stuck on the window of the shop, where those monstrous brooms were in display. Jeez, one would think those brooms were treasures or something. Thank Merlin Clifford wasn't quite like that. But when she looked up at him, she couldn't help but to chuckle. Yup, Clifford really was like that.
"Yeah, I'm sure I'll be alright in there." She chuckled, still amused by the way his eyes had glaze over when he had looked at the brooms. Her grin faded a bit when he opened the door and she peered inside the shop. Aaaaah. She didn't want to get in! She didn't want to get sick! But his excitement made her shook her head and gave her a tiny bit of courage. Clinging to his hand, she stepped inside the shop. "Thank you.." She muttered, a bit unsure. Clifford's face was alive with excitement, his eyes wide and bright, and his feet extra bouncy as he followed Evangeline into Quality Quidditch Supplies - AKA Heaven. He took a deep breath, inhaling the Quidditch-y goodness that smelled alot like wood and broomstick polish before turning to Evangeline. "There's brooms and bats and bludgers and everything in here! Isn't it FANTASTIC?" He grinned enthusiastically, dragging her to the nearest display which was stacked with the latest Quidditch magazines. Ooooh! The new issue of Quidditch World! NEEEAAT!
He was about to grab a copy of his favourite magazine when he remembered that strange 'imaginary' bug thingymabob, and he quickly turned back to Evangeline. "You're feeling okay, right? No strange symptoms popping up or anything?" Hmm. She looked okay - but if she wasn't they were leaving right this instant. Yup.

"That'll be 92 galleons and 3 sickles, unless there is anything more that you would like?" she asked, ringing up the items Kaika turned to the woman with her smile still on her face, she nodded and handed her the 92 galleons and 3 sickles, that action reminded her of when she'd bought the Nimbus two years ago. "Here you go" she said, as she handed the money, "No, I won't need anything else, thank you" she said, handling the bags to the more-than-willing-to-help house-elf. Quote:

Petting the elf's head, he passed the girl her broom and grinned.
She laughed as the guy petted Crabby, the house elf narrowed his eyes and then looked at her, "It's fine Crabby, he's just....being nice" she said, and looked at the paper he'd given her.
Before even asking why she needed to sign it, Frankie explained it, she nodded and scribble a very neat 'Kaika Lockhart' with a little heart on the side wherever he told her to sign. "All signed up, there's nothing else to sign?" she asked, and ignored the fact that he'd called 'kid' before, she didn't want to get into any arguments.

Quality Quidditch Supplies was .. hell on Earth. At least that was the impression Evangeline got upon entering. After a few seconds there, she realised that infact it wasn't hell on Earth. It was worse than that.
Everywhere she looked all she saw was Quidditch related stuff .. Quidditch fanatics .. Quidditch related stuff ... Quidditch fanatics. AAAAAAH! Getting quite scared, Evangeline clung even tighter to Clifford's hand, hoping he wouldn't leave her alone in there. Maybe this shop did have a bug after all.
And Clifford had got it apparently.
She stared in shock at him when he started talking as fast as he possibly could, bouncing wildly and dragging her around. "Yesh ... fantastic." She mumbled weakly, oblivious to the fact she had gone paler than usual and that sweat was breaking out on her forehead. "Yeah .. I'm okay. No...everything's normal." She said, attempting a smile. She wouldnt admit she was scared. He seemed happy. Or sick. Surely, that was REALLY excited Clifford ... so she'd deal with it.

Warren Carden Magical Transportation | Crayola's Wibby Clifford was thoroughly enjoying himself now. It was impossible to step foot inside this shop and not bounce at the sight of Quidditch, Quidditch and more Quidditch. If he was allowed to live here - he so totally would. Really, his bags would've been packed already.
His Quidditch related thoughts were disturbed when he felt Evangeline cling even tighter to his hand. Ack. For the briefest of seconds he'd forgot she was there! Quidditch on the brain. "Normal?" He blinked down at her even paler face. Eh? Was it just the light in here or did Evangeline resemble a ghost right now? Hmm. And what was that? Was she ... breaking out in a sweat? Oh no. No, no, no. His precious Quidditch Heaven couldn't possibly have this bug. No! It just couldn't be possible! Heaven was a good place!
"Oh gosh." He murmured, glancing over his shoulder in search of the shop assistant, just incase this bug made things turn nasty. "Maybe this wasn't such a good idea." He chewed his lip, turning back to poorly Evangeline with anxious eyes. This was all his fault! He had dragged her in here. "You need fresh air. Now!" Setting Quidditch World back on the shelf and shooting an apologetic look in the assistants direction, Clifford quickly led the infected Evangeline back onto the street.

Usagi can't help but glare at the man. When it comes to book issues, believe me, her Gryffindor inner lion shows up. House pride. A world that was hidden from her. Livvy just sighed as she looked back at the collection, and then picked up The Quidditch Rule Book, Quidditch Through The Ages, and The Snitch magazine, and walked over to the shopowners as Livvy rummaged through her small bag for the money.

She'd never really seen a broom before, having been brought up by a muggle, so it fascinated her, what she saw now. Careful not to show her interest on her face, she spotted a boy who appeared to be about her age staring at the shelf of books.
Deciding she might as well make some use of her spare time, she walked up to him, a coy smile on her face. Stopping a few steps away from him, she looked at the same spot he was. 'Fancy it?' she asked, cocking her head.

Abigail Reynolds Minister's Office | Constant Vigilance! O_O AWAKE! Jean Raoul finally wandered into the Quality Quidditch Supplies store, his hands jammed deep into his pockets. He stopped moving once he was well into the store and tilted his head back slightly, his eyes closed as he inhaled deeply. Ahh. The smell of broomsticks and Quidditch supplies. This was the smell Jean Raoul had needed to smell ever since he had arrived in Britain.
Indeed, the prospect of this store was the reason why Jean Raoul had bothered coming to Diagon Alley at all; it was the reason he hadn't just ordered his books to have them delivered by owl. As to why the seventeen-year-old hadn't come here immediately upon arriving in Diagon Alley... well, he simply had wanted to get the feel of these London shoppers. He didn't want to walk into a Quidditch shop without knowing how the locals shopped. That would have been a foolish thing to do.
Opening his eyes, Jean Raoul looked around the store. The brooms were over there, he saw, and Quidditch-related books and magazines were elsewhere. But he had a broom, and he had all the Quidditch books possible. What he really needed was a broom care kit. Even if he didn't play Quidditch at Hogwarts, which he hoped he would, he still wanted to keep his broom in good working condition. Who knew when it would be needed?
So Jean Raoul wandered about the store, noting the signs and trying - and failing, of course - to decipher the scribbles on them. Odd. But not exactly his problem if a child had scribbled on the store's property.
Nope, not his problem. He was just here to shop for his Quidditch supplies.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Willow Liadan Kovac Seventh Year

Ministry RPG Name:
Ethan Frederick Belden Minister's Office | Josey.<333 Bone Crusher | | Wowza! Swiftly opening the door of the shop, and sliding inside quickly, Willow peered over her shoulder to see if anyone had seen her entering this particular shop. Anyone meaning her father, of course. She was paranoid enough to think that her father might have followed her to Diagon Alley.
If Goran Kovac saw her entering this shop. . . Willow might as well start getting used to the idea of being shipped off to Beauxbaton or something like that.
A delicate tremble escaped from her just by the thought of this.
Going to France. . . Honestly.
Trying to brush her bangs out of her face, just as the thoughts of being shipped off to France vanished from her mind. Taking a deep breath, the fourteen year old raised her head, for it was the only way she would be able to read what was written on the signs.
Except that she couldn't read this signs. Well, Willow was sure that if it wasn't because something that looked a lot like a human's being head weren't blocking her view, she would be able to read and understand what was written on them. It wasn't until then, of course, that the Ravenclaw noticed that she was standing right behind of some really tall person. Sigh.
Stretching on her tip toes a little --the guy was tall--, the girl tapped him on the shoulder. "Excuse me, sir, but you standing right in front of the signs, thus blocking my view".
