Default Welcome to Wiseacres Wizarding Equipment

Wiseacres is a large brown stone building located smack in the middle of the South End. Inside you will find every bit of magical equipment known to Wizarding kind. Among things you might find in other stores, Wiseacres also carries more distinct pieces, for every need you may have.

Three stories high, this shop is not only a shop, it is also a hostel. Reservations for the hostel must be made three weeks in advance, and pets are not allowed on the premises.
Storage Room

Located in the very back of the building, the storage room is completley OFF LIMITS. This is where all of the merchandise is kept, safe and sound, away from prying eyes and sticky fingers.

We advise you do not try to get in, the thick doors are locked, charmed and very, very heavy. Speaking of which, heavy consequences will fall on the head of the one foolish enough to try sneaking inside.

The only people allowed in the storage room are the Shopkeeper and whoever else she approves. Venders, delivery men and cleaning staff use the back door to enter and exit the storage room, under no circumstances are they to enter the store during operating hours.

Guest Lounge

The Brews & Stews Hostel is upstairs, and has lodged many famous Witches and Wizards in it's time. The whole second floor is off limits, and only paying Hostel customers are allowed inside the Guest Lounge.

A large wood burning fireplace is the central focus of the room, and often lit during the cold winter months. Directly beside, is a staircase that will lead you back up to the Guest Rooms. On the opposite side of the room, there is a long table, that is always stacked with sweets, coffee and tea are also available. You may choose to eat in the lounge, or in the small dining area off to the left, but please do not make a mess, we like to be clean.

Have a seat in one of the plush chairs, or couches, and enjoy the most recent copy of the Daily Prophet, or perhaps just get to know your bunk mates better.

This room also doubles as a break room, for the Wiseacres employees, and any sort of function is held in the Guest Lounge.

Hostel Rooms

Just behind the check out counter is a large wooden staircase that leads up to the third floor, where the Brews & Stews Hostel is located. There are only six beds and three bathrooms, which the guests of the hostel share.

Make yourself at home, meet your bunk mates and feel free to visit the Guest Lounge after all, it's not often you get to spend a night in a hostel.

Shelves & Displays

Peruse at your leisure, the rows and rows of inventory. Wiseacres prides itself in bringing you only the best equipment at a price no one can beat. Crystal Balls are to the left, hourglasses to the right and there is absolutely no littering in the shop.

If there is something specific you need help finding, any questions should be directed to the Shopkeeper, who would be happy to help you. When you are ready to leave the shop, exit out the double doors, and you will find yourself on the South End of the street.

Counter

When your shopping experience, or stay has come to an end, please make your way to the front of the shop, where the check out counter is located. Check out of your room, make your purchases, request gift wrapping, or direct general questions to the shopkeeper.

Once you leave the shop, you will find yourself on the South End of the street. We hope you enjoyed your time in Wiseacres, and that you come again soon!
