The back room and office area are actually a kitchen with an upstairs loft that serves as a office. Customers are welcome back here but by INVITATION only (there is no current shopkeeper at this time).

Several charms have been placed around the room that WILL alert the shopkeeper that someone is back here uninvited. Anyone caught back here uninvited will be unceremoniously thrown out and banned from ever returning to Florean Fortescues Ice Cream Parlour.

ooc: This is NOT an open thread and you must have permission from (there is currently no shopkeeper) to post your character.
Remember that the site rules must always be followed, including the Diagon Alley rules as well.

Agatha walked into the room without even peeking her head in first. She was in the BACK ROOM OF FLOREAN FORTESCUES. Acadia would be SO jealous, mwahahaha!

The girl walked around, looking at every detail to make sure she would remember everything later. Of course, she knew Acadia would doubt her if she told her she had been there, so she needed details to make her story more reliable.

Merlin's sweet tooth, this was epic!! Agatha did like watching her mum cook sometimes and this kitchen was brilliant! Probably because it was made especially... for ice cream! Woooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwww!!!

The girl was so mesmerized by the kitchen that she momentarily forgot to eat her ice cream, which started melting in the pretty bowl.

She was doing that thing again where her neck lost it's hinges and her head went bobbling. Merlin, would it have been possible to put a sticking spell on her? If her head wouldn't stop bobbling then maybe it was better left stationary.

He entered the private room right behind her--but only because she kept walking so fast. Girls, they were always so eager for everything.

This is why the guy shouldn't have invited her. She should have been left down in the ice-cream shop with the creepy lady but he couldn't argue with the man that was saving them so he let it go. She was allowed. No big deal. She just better not try sticking her nose in the air again or he was going to pour some black pepper down it and move on.

Deciding that he couldn't do anything about the annoying girl, he opted instead to enjoy the room so he took a seat on one of the stools and ignored her while he went on licking. The only problem was...it was almost done. Without ice-cream he'd actually have to acknowledge that she was there and that meant having a conversation with her.

Agatha held her bowl of strawberry ice cream almost unsteadily as she walked around the room looking at everything. If the thing was completely melted it would be dripping all over, but luckily it wasn't... yet.

That kitchen was so bright, it made her even more excited to be there. She wished she had a camera on her so she could actually prove to Acadia she had been there. But... maybe she would just wait there long enough for her parents to go fetch her so they could all see by themselves that she had been allowed in that back room.

Hohohohohoho! Acadia would be forever jealous, she just knew it!

And the little boy was there too. Of course he was... the nice Ice Cream Man had let the both of them there because of that creepy woman. "You know, you should be more careful about who you talk to!" It was totally his fault that that crazy woman was talking to them! ~~Lies, all lies.~~

Agatha rolled her eyes exaggeratedly and shook her head. "Kids..." She pretended to mumble, but said that in a very clear tone. "Don't know anything about the real world." She continued her dramatic act, repeating what her father always said around Acadia and herself, even though she had no idea what that truly meant.

"Don't go around messing up Mr Ice Cream Man's kitchen, Dax, or he will be upset!" Agatha added as she resumed walking around, her ice cream finally starting to drip all over.

So there he was, getting down to the cone of his ice-cream with a little scowl but still effectively ignoring the girl that was walking around, gawking like she'd seen Christmas. Just how was she mature? She was looking like his cousin when she got let inside a candy shop...only...she wasn't as bad...

He took a few chomps on his cone while staring around ~~in a much more mature looking way~~. The distraction was good but his ice-cream was done. Now he just wanted his mum. Getting ice-cream had been an okay idea but now he was over it and more importantly he was over the annoying girl who thought she knew everything and acted like she was better than him. She wasn't. Far from it actually.

Speaking of the devil, Dax scowled over at her when he realized her sentence was directed at him. "You're bloody right about that one. If I hadn't sat with you I wouldn't have run into that creepy lady in the first place. This is all your fault, Ms. Grown Up, now accept it since you want to be so mature." Yup. All her fault. The woman had gone to sit with her afterall.

Then he raised an eyebrow at her because yes he had something to say about that too. "In the real world girls don't go around call people their age kids unless they want to admit they're kids too--you know you're a kid too, right?" She wasn't that hopeless, was she????

And it seemed she just liked making things worst for herself. This time he was smiling, not a nice genuine one but one that said 'you're an idiot'. He liked giving those smiles. "I'm sitting right here, I haven't moved. You're the one walking around." Remember? So she'd be the one to mess with things. Not him.

Whoa, look at this shiny thing! Agatha had no idea what it was, but it looked like it was something very important to the kitchen. Surely it was some sort of magical equipement to create all of those amazing magical ice creams flavours. Or something.

She was very busy observing the things when Dax got mad aaall of a sudden. Agatha turned around immediately and put her free hand on her hip. "It was not my fault!" She told him, very irritated. "She was clearly very interested in who YOUR mother was, not mine. She didn't ask me any more questions after you arrived." Well, the woman did come to talk to her first, but then Dax came along and all of her attention was on him! True that! "So it is obviously YOUR fault!" She said, flipping her hair ~~since she knew he didn't like it~~, her hand still on her hip. "And I don't want to be mature, I AM!" Nose up in the aaaair again.

...Alright, now this Dax kid was getting on her nerves! "I might be your age, but I certainly act a lot more mature than you do." UGH! This KID! He was so rude! This was why Agatha didn't like little boys like him. They didn't know how to treat a lady. Honestly!

Agatha decided she would ignore him. Kids like him didn't deserve her attention, because they were RUDE and impolite! Hmph. So she kept walking around without realising she was making a mess of the kitchen floor. When the liiittle boy said something else, she once again turned around to look at and reprimand him when she noticed the little ice cream path.

It was pink ice cream, so it had come from her bowl.

....

Just look at her going around and touching things. Honestly couldn't she understand that they were supposed to be being good in this room. What if she went and broke something. He wasn't going to take the blame for her. Nope. He was going to sell her out the moment something stopped working the way it was meant to.

Dax rolled his eyes before giving her a very patient look. "Don't you know ANYTHING? She obviously didn't know my mum," because his mother did not go around talking to strange women, "she was just saying that. It's no surprize that you didn't pick that up though." Nope. No surprize there. She was probably too busy flipping her hair to notice anything but herself. "And she didn't ask me much else either, the man came, remember?" Merlin, she didn't have bad memory too, did she? One defect was bad enough and this girl had like THREE, one being that hair flipping thing that she was doing again. He ignored her trying to protest that she was mature because he had a question. "Wat would you do if someone cut your hair off? Would you flip thin air and hope you look pretty?"

The next thing she said has him rolling his eyes. "You wish. I can control my body movements," See that, no hair flipping and nose sticking coming from him, "unlike you and I don't have to state I'm mature every two seconds." because that's what she was doing; did she realize?

Maybe she did because she was about to respond when she finally saw the mess she'd made. "Me? Oh no, that was all you Princess." He said with a spiteful grin. "And you get to clean it up. Pity. Little girls like yourself can't eat without making a mess. I'm spotless." 'Cause at times like these the only logical thing to do was show off.

Uuuuurgh! That little boy was making her fun time in that awesome kitchen go down the drain!

"I didn't say that!" Agatha told him, getting very annoyed. He thought she was stupid! She was most definitely not! "I know she didn't know your mum. What I said is that she was interested in YOUR mum, not mine." That is why it was all his fault. Simple enough! Merlin, this kid!

Saywhataboutcuttingherhairofflittleboy???? "No one would dare..." Agatha narrowed her eyes at him. If Dax was saying that because HE was planning to cut her BEAUTIFUL hair off... Merlin knew what could happen! Glare and hair flip!

What? What did that have to do with anything? "I can control my body movements very well!" Her tone was irritated with a hint of know-it-all. And he didn't have to state that he was mature? "Yeah, because you're clearly not!" Kiiiiddddddddddddddd!!!!

It wasn't the fact he called her princess or the fact he accused her of making the mess. What really got to Agatha's nerves this time was him saying 'little girls like you...'

Her face slowly started to get red and she started to huff. "I am NOT a little girl." His other words seemed to had vanished from her mind as just 'little girl' echoed over and over. How. Dare. He. She gave a few steps towards him, tightening her grip on the bowl she was holding, squashing it a bit and holding her index finger up in his direction. "Don't ever call me that again!"

She was fuuuuuuuuuuming, Agatha was. That little BOY!!! Glaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaareeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

She still wasn't getting it, was she? Sigh. This was why he didn't like talking to girls. "She wasn't interested in my mum either. Couldn't you tell she was just looking for an excuse. Must everything be spelled out for you?" It was beginning to seem more and more so.

And here he begged to differ. "Not true. If I had a pair on me I'd sip everything but an inch from the root." Did she think she scared him? Pffft. Dax Sanders was a coward, true, but he wasn't going to let himself be intimidated by some girl. He had standards you know. His fear was reserved for better people, MUCH better people than what this girl was.

And there she went lying to herself again. Did he have to correct her on everything? SIGH. Time to try again with her. "You can't. You flip your hair and lift your nose at least a dozen times a minute and others will find it annoying, especially older people. As for me," He paused to give her a pitying look, "I've got more mature-ness in one strand of my hair than you have in your tiny little body." Because he was taller than her so that made her tiny by default.

Oh and look she was being dumb again. In all he said, all she heard was the little girl bit. Typical and she earned herself an eyeroll. "You are. I'm 9 and I'm little. YOU'RE 9 and that makes YOU little." Again with the threats. Yeah. No.

"Little. Girl." He took his time to pronounce each letter just so she could hear them properly.

Aaarghhh, this little boy was telling things as if she hadn't already understood them! "I knoooowwww!" Agatha roooolled her eyes at him. "I meant that she was talking to you because-" She stopped for a fraction of a second when a new idea popped into her mind. "-you look a lot easier to be tricked than me." Aha!

Yeeeah, right! "No, you wouldn't." The nine year-old told him, eyes still narrowed. "I know you think my hair is beautiful too, you just won't say it." Because boys were stupid like that. Tsk.

"I can too!" Agatha replied annoyed. She could soooo control her body! "I am a ballerina, I can control my movements perfectly." She wasn't lying, really. She did dance, but it was not completely true she was the best at balance, for example. Dax obviously didn't need to know that. "Besides," She continued after he said she had a 'tiny little body'. "Ballerinas are supposed to... not be tall." Hm. Once again, not completely true, but it was partially right anyway!

Hair flip.

And there he went blabbing again. "No, I'm 9 but I think like an adult already." SO TRUE! Give her a grown up task to see if she couldn't do it! She soooooo could! She can do everything adults do! Everything! ~~Not~~

But he just kept calling her little girl!! "SHUT UP!!" She finally shouted, throwing the bowl she was holding on the floor, spilling melted ice cream all over. Her face was bright red as she glaaaaaaaaared at Dax. RUDE!! RUUUDEEEEE BOOOYYY!!

His eyes were gonna fall out by the time he left here on account of she kept making him roll them. He used to think Lexa was mean when she called people names but now he thought he understood a little...some of them just deserved it. Like this one. "No way." He said, wrinkling his nose openly so she could see how unconvincing she was. "She probably saw you flipping your hair and knew you'd be an easy target." Too distracted to notice anything.

Now she had him scoffing at her the way his mother scoffed at people when they said silly things. "I would and I wouldn't care either." He paused to make a face at her hair. "It's nothing special...kinda ugly...that's why I don't know why you keep flipping it....are you hoping it falls out so you can start growing it over?" It was a serious question because he was now concerned.

Oh and there he went rolling his eyes again. Merlin. "Being a Ballerina doesn't make you control hair flipping and nose raising. I'm beginning to think you really don't know anything." Not that he needed much convincing with her.

Uh-huh...as expected. Hair flip. She just couldn't help herself. It wasn't her fault he supposed so he just gave her another pitying look.

He would have answered her on the other stuff too but 'cept she threw her bowl at him and had ice-cream splatter all over. "WOW," he gave her a VERY judging look that also held a bit of superiority to it, "REALLY MATURE OF YOU!" Her doing this clearly proved that he was the more mature of the two which meant that HE WON and SHE LOST because HE was MORE MATURE than her. Heh. Time for him to step up and be the mature one and this meant gloating and showing her up. He hopped off the stool, sooooo ready for this. "Now you've done it. He'll never invite girls up here again you know." He walked over to the little sink thing, spotting a small bucket on it and got some water into it. "I don't know where you'll get a mop but you'd better get to work. Chop chop."

Agatha held up one of her hands and turned her face in the oposite direction, like she had seen so many big girls doing. ~~See how she was just like them?~~ "If I wasn't there who knew what that crazy woman would have done to you!" ....Not that she was the one who saved them both, but STILL. "You'd be an easy target on your own." LITTLE BOY!

The Dax kid kept saying he would cut her hair off. Yeah, right. "You would not, and would care too!" She said, staring at him. She just knew he loved her hair. She knew it. Everyone loved her hair! Eeevvvvveryoooneeee. ...Agatha forced a loud laughter at his next comment about her hair falling off. PUH-LEASE, kid!! HAHAHA! "Look at you, trying to be funny." Agatha eeeeyed Dax to make sure he understood she had FORCED the laughter. "My hair will never fall out because it's too good." It was SO pretty and GOOD. Good hair, right there. HAIR FLIP. See that? Good hair.

"I know way more than you do." It was all Agatha said, her nose up in the air once again. It was pointless to keep explaining to him things about being a ballerina. Pityyyyy. Little boy. Oh, and she flipped her hair again to emphasise her sentence. Very useful hair flip, that one.

Shouting time. "YOU STARTED IT!" Agatha said, index finger pointing menacingly at Dax, her face still bright red. Her gaze went quickly around the room and she saw the mess she had just made. "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!" And don't go blaming it on her! Totally HIS fault! HIS and only HIS!

The nine year-old was still fuming, fists clenched on her sides as she shoot the most irritated glare at him while he walked around and did things. What?? WHAT??? Agatha was no maid! "I don't want this stupid bucket!" The girl said, kicking it over, making sure the water went in his direction. She stumbled a bit before standing steadily again and glared at him some more. "If you want it clean, you clean it yourself!" KID!

He was really starting to lose his patience with this one. In general, he was a good boy who got along with just about anyone ~~so long as they got Freya's approval~~ but he was sure that even Freya would have lost it with her and that was near impossible because he was sure his sister liked everybody. "It wouldn't have mattered if you were there or not because the nice shopkeeper came and saved the day--not you." DUH!

He felt a scowl coming on his face. Oh no, oh no, oh no. He was told he needed to stop frowning or his face would freeze that way and he didn't want to end up walking around like...well looking like her just because she kept saying stupid things. "I DON'T like your hair. Your hair is ugly and I've seen better before." As hard as he tried, his scowled just got deeper. "I wasn't trying to make a joke either, but I guess you wouldn't know that. S'Okay, probably not your fault anyway." Shrug.

He was going to ignore the next thing she said because he needed to focus on answering THAT. "MY FAULT??? How in merlin's beard is it MY fault you stupid girl?! I didn't throw the bowl, I didn't make a big mess and you know what? I'M not the one who just made a bigger mess with a bucket; a SIMPLE thing used for cleaning!!!"

He had jumped back when she kicked the bucket but the end of his pants and his shoes were now wet. "AND JUST LOOK WHAT YOU DID!" He said, kicking the fallen bucket right at her. Whether or not it missed was NOT his problem.

Also.

"Can you stop flipping that dingy stuff you've got on your head? It's NOT cute!" Girl's liked being told they were cute for some reason and they hated being told the exact opposite. Well right now she was being the exact opposite. Ugly, stupid girl.

He really wanted to drag this conversation, didn't he? "Who cares who did what, the important thing is that we're here now." In the super cool kitchen. Too bad she had to share her glorious moment with a silly little boy.

Pfffft. There he went saying he didn't like her hair. Agatha just stared at him as she shook head her. "Jealousy is not a very nice thing, you know?" She said in a snobbish tone. And was he trying to be funny again? Because it wasn't really working. "Of course it's not my fault you're like that." Ugh. Boys.

WHAT??? He was calling her STUPID now!! "How DARE you call me stupid when YOU'RE the stupid one!!!" Stuuuuupiiiiiiidddddd boy! Stupid! "YOU were the one who aggravated me!" Hence it was all his fault.

Agatha was too busy glaring and being extremely angry at the silly little boy to think fast enough. When Dax kicked the bucket back in her direction, splashing more water around, she slipped and fell down and the bucket hit her side.

That did it!

The little girl was red and she felt like she could set him on fire by just looking at him ~~but that obviously wouldn't happen~~. "SHUT UP, YOU IDIOT!" As she shouted back, Agatha grabbed the bucket and swung it in Dax's direction as hard as she could.

The nine yeard-old watched intently as the buckets spun its way back to Dax and quickly got up. Heeeeeeeee started throwing things at her ~~lies~~, so he'd have it back! "HAVE IT YOUR WAY THEN!!" The girl looked around frantically until she spotted the biggest measuring cup she had seen in her life.

That would do for now.

So she rushed to the sink and filled it as fast as she could. Without really looking, she spun around, letting all of the water in the cup spill in every direction, but especiallyyyyyyyyyyyy in the boy's direction, of course. Of coooursseeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Yeah, take that, kid.

He scoffed at her. "I obviously care who did what. You did nothing. Left up to you we'd still be down there with some creepy hag woman--I am too wonderful to be stolen and never seen again!!!" He just had to get that out there. Where as no one would care if she went missing, he was positive there would be search parties after him. It was something that happened when you were liked so she obviously wouldn't know.

Sigh. She had him rolling his eyes again. When would this end? "You just twisted what I said. Look. If you didn't understand what I said, all you had to do was ask me to make it clearer. No need to go trying to make your own interpretation because you'll be wrong like just now." Again. Not her fault.

For a moment he just stood staring at her, trying to figure out if she was being stupid on purpose or just trying to annoy him. "That doesn't make it my fault." He wouldn't say anymore on that matter because she probably wouldn't understand anyway.

By now he was beginning to think that she was a lost cause and he got set to head back to the shop for another ice-cream, 'cause you know, he didn't care that the bucket got water all over her, when the girl started doing that annoying thing again where she shouted. He was going to ignore it like the good boy he was but then something hit into him with a loud thud.

"Bloody hell!" He shouted, whirling around, seeing the bucket before looking up at her. He was still rubbing the sore area when he saw her grab for a measuring cup and fill it with water.

She wouldn't.

His eyes widened when he saw her actually lift the cup and soak him. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?! HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IF I SOAKED YOU LIKE IT IF SOMEONE SOAKED YOU????" He stomped furiously, his foot splashing some of the water from the puddle he was now standing in. This girl had some nerve. "I bet you think I'm too much of a gentleman to fight back huh? Well guess what? I'm NINE and DON'T care!" He yelled at her before snatching at the bucket and hurling it right at her. "And another thing!" He said, storming over to the sink once more. He grabbed at a large bowl and filled it then walked right up to her. With a very serious face he turned it above her head and let the water pour out. "Hope you like getting wet."

Then he commented on how wonderful he was to be stolen. "You really think that??" Agatha asked incredulously, staring at him in disbelief. "And they say I am stuck up..." She was obviously not. Dax was.

...What? "I did not just twist what you said, nuh uh!" She said, hands on hips and a daring look on her face. "I won't be wrong because I'm never wrong." Hmph. And take a hair flip for that, little boy.

"Of course it does!" It was all his fault and HE knew that, he just wouldn't admit it. "If you hadn't aggravated me," Agatha said, pointing her index finger at him, frowning in irritation. "then I wouldn't have gotten mad!" And none of that would have happened. So there, all his fault!

Agatha would have laughed at him when the bucket hit the target, but she was too angry to do so, so she just watched everything with narrowed eyes and clenched fists. "FOR YOU BEING STUPID!" That was what it had been for, DUH! Stupid Dax was stupid. The nine year-old didn't respond when he asked his next question because she knew he didn't want an answer, he was just being silly. And of COURSE she didn't expect him to act like a gentleman, because he was NOT one! Duuuhhhh!

The bucket came flying in her direction again! She dodged it and furiously looked back at him. "HEY!!" But before she could say anything else, he was already coming with something else..............

LOOONG AND EXAGGERATED GAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

Raising both of her hands to her sides, the small brunette closed her eyes when the boy poured water all over her. She stood that way for a few seconds before opening her eyes just to give Dax her ultra mega GLARE. "THAT WAS COLD!" She shouted, throwing the measuring cup on the floor next to her. The thing bounced a few times before it was kicked by Agatha herself as she moved fast towards whatever-that-was and scooped up whatever-that-was. It felt creamy, maybe it was the stuff they used to make ice cream.

But Agatha had no time to find out what exactly that was. She was way too busy shoving that on Dax's face, making sure she got the thing on every inch of his face as possible AND his hair.

Mwahahahaha! YES, HIS HAIR TOO! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Once Colby had made sure the creeper woman had left his shop he made his way back to the kitchen area to check on the children he was protecting from said creeper woman.

Expecting to find the boy and girl sitting there eating their ice cream and behaving like he expected them to do, he was SHOCKED at the scene he walked in on.

"WHAT IS GOING ON IN HERE?!" He shouted upon seeing the MESS his kitchen was in.

FIVE MINUTES!

He had left them alone for five minutes and they had destroyed his kitchen!

He bet her parents didn't want her going home. He wouldn't.

"Never wrong? Don't be stupid. You can't be right all the time and you definitely aren't right now--" His correcting her was cut short when she flipped her hair again. Alright. Not a problem. Her time would come.

And her next ridiculous outburst had him seriously puzzled. "I did NOT! You need to learn to control your temper." Yup. It was true. His mum said so all the time. "Real mature people know how to not get angry easy. What does that say about YOU."

His eyes widened.

"I'm being stupid??? Me? We got invited up here by a really nice man and what do YOU do??? You THROW ICE-CREAM all over!! That doesn't sound very smart! He'll never let you up here again. In fact I'm going to go tell on you right now so you can leave." Solemn nod. He was a good boy. Good boys got to stay in nice kitchens with more ice-cream, which reminded him. He was going down for some more--

"Well of course it was cold! What d'you expect?? Did the princess want me going against magical law and warming it for her first??" Forget the fact that he didn't know magic for a sec. He was humouring her.

And now that she was soaked, he was satisfied and it was time for ice-cream--

MERLIN'S BEARD!!

The girl! That creature was rubbing stuff all over his face faster than he could leave! "Get off me!" He shouted, shoving her away. Then he saw it. His opening. THAT HAIR. He reached forward and grabbed at a fist full of it. "What's wrong with you!" Her and her hair would learn a lesson today if he could help it.

But quite suddenly he heard a voice he hadn't been expecting to here at this very second.

He looked at the man...then the girl...then the man again. Ahem. He was ready for this. "This was all HER fault!!! This whole mess, everything in this kitchen, all her! Every last thing! I was trying to be a good boy because I am--Mummy says so all the time--then she just threw her ice-cream at me Mister, and for no reason too! I tried doing the right thing because you have such a lovely kitchen and I knew you wouldn't want a mess in here so I got her a bucket with water to clean it but she KICKED it away instead and made an even bigger mess. I don't know why you let her up here, she's vicious! Did you see what she was doing to my face just now?!"

Because, yes, Dax was loyal to no one. His butt was the first to get saved and if there was enough time to save yours too...he'd fabricate stuff to make it even harder for you.

Bet you wished you hadn't touched his face. Huh, girly?

"Exactly, I did nothing, which means it's all YOUR fault." Alright, she also didn't know what she was saying anymore. All she would do was going to deny she had done anything bad and would blame it all on Dax. Until the very end. The girl rolled her eyes as he went on about his family and how they care about him and blah blah blah. "As if you were that special..." Pshhh.

Bwahahaha, her hair flip made him shut up. Perfect. Agatha took a mental note of that and would remember this forever. She could make people shut up with her magnificent haaaiiiirrrrrr. Mwahaha. Awesome.

"It says that CHILDREN aggravate me, because I'm so far above you." HMPH. So true. Quiet, little boy. HAIR FLIP. Quiet.

Ohh, no you don't! "I threw no ice cream around! I have been saying this was your fault, because it WAS all your fault from the START!" Merlin, couldn't he see?? ~~She knew it had been her ice cream, alright.~~ "Yeah, like he would let YOU back in here!" Agatha was quite aware she wouldn't be allowed in there anymore, but she would drag him along, oh yes, she would.

Going against magical law? Did this kid even KNOW anything? The nine year-old rolled her eyes again, frown still on her face. "I didn't expect you to do magic, because I don't know how to." She said as rudely as she could, taking some of her hair from her face. If people always pointed out she couldn't do magic very well because she was little, she'd make sure Dax had that shoved down his throat as well.

She was still very busy plastering cream all over his face when she felt him trying to talk and pulling her PRECIOUS hair!! "HOW DARE YOU!!" She yelled, grabbing his hair with her other hand as she continued to rub the weird stuff on his face. She was having a hard time to slipping around on the wet and now creamy floor under her feet, so she used Dax to help herself stand up while she did all that. "GEROFF ME!!"

Then..... Mr Ice Cream man was back. Agatha only heard his voice and immediately stopped what she was doing, not really letting go of Dax's hair and now shoulder. She looked at the man... then at Dax... then at the man again.

At the exact same time the boy started talking, she did to, trying her best to talk louder than him. "I was here all interested in the kitchen and looking at the nice things around and then he started irritating me saying a lot of things then he spilled ice cream all over" Agatha's index finger shoot up in Dax's direction one again as she spoke extremely fast, without taking her eyes off the Ice Cream Man. "then he started shouting at me and got me all wet and said he would chop off my hair and threw buckets at me after getting me all wet and I said the creepy woman just wanted him and that's why she was all weird and stuff and it was ALL HIS FAULT!!"

Val went along his way to the back room. He hadn't considered how soon this decision was to be made. With each step upstairs he went through it all in his head before reaching the door to Colby's office.

With summer upon them Colby knew the busy season was fast approaching. Students would be getting out of school and the shop would soon be filled with the sounds of children rushing in to get their favorite flavor of ice cream. For Colby summer also meant longer hours at work and less time to spend with his family, although now that his children were older, they did like to hang out at the shop, even if it was just for the free ice cream.

Getting his mind back on the task at hand, he had just started looking over the inventory when there was a knock at the door. A knock meant one thing, it wasn't his wife or children on the other side because they would have just walked right on in. Only one way to find out who it was.

"Come in, it's open."

Well, Val was allowed in now as he went inside, "Hello Colby. I was vanting to speaking with you." First acknowledging before digging into his pocket. Not one to beat around the bush, Val brought out a neatly folded slip to hand over. "It's my 2-week notice. I.. vill be travelling around this summer with my fiance before returning to my studies in University." That was it then. The not-so-easy part out of the way.

Ah, it was his faithful assistant Val. Best assistant at the shop since Colby's wife decided to be a full time mum with their two beautiful children. "Hello Val, take a seat. I've been wanting to talk with you too. Hadleigh and I have been thinking about giving you..." Before he could finish what he was saying, Val was handing him something.

WHAT!?

A TWO WEEK NOTICE?

Colby did NOT see that one coming. He sat there just staring at the notice for several seconds before dropping it on his desk and looking up. "Are you sure you have to do this now?" As in right now, when the busy season for the shop was about to begin. Right when Colby had been ready to offer the man a hefty raise for all the hard work he did around the shop.

Where was Hadleigh when he needed her? She was better at handling things like this than he was.
