I can't think of one particular moment, but I can say I was surprised how much humour was in the book.

I sorta laughed when George joked about his ear "Saintlike...Holy...Holey geddit Fred?"

and when Fred spoke French to get the girls...

I laughed at R/Hr kiss because that was all about the elves!!!

I laughed when Ron was all wt from a raining office

The most I laughed at was I think when McGonagall charmed desks and led them to the battle yelling "CHARGE!"

oh, yeah and when Percy came back and was apologizing about being a and Fred supplies it for him "Ministry-loving family-disowning power-hungry moron" and Percy says "Yes"

Ron totally made me giggle throughout most of the book! His statements were just classic lines to me and I loved him in this book!

I laughed when Hagrid fell and Harry was like, " Hagrid--Accio Hagrid!" It really wasn't that that was funny but the only if it had worked-- imagine-- Harry is in this huge crashing motorbike, when all of a sudden he has this huge 6 foot tall half giant hurtling through the air towards him at breakneck speed.... or the whole Potterwatch thing.... but most of the book was serious (LOLOLOLOLOLOL sirius ), and I didn't laugh much...

I think the funniest excerpts were from the beginning of the book, like at the wedding (Luna revolving around by herself, waving her arms in the air--I found it amusing) as well as at Privet Drive when the others turn into Harry. Everyone's remarks about their transformation are great--Fleur said she was hideous, the twins remarked that they were identical, etc.

The part at the Burrow after everyone had arrived (besides Moody, who was dead, regrettably) was sprinkled with humor as well, mostly from the Weasley twins.

Honestly, the funniest thing in the book to me was when Harry tells Uncle Vernon that Voldemort might hold them hostage to get Harry to rescue them. They both look at each other and the unspoken question is, of course, "would you?" I can just hear Harry saying, "ummmmmmmmmmmmm....no."

And Kreacher hitting Mundungus upside the head with a frying pan was great. He's had it coming for quite a few books now.

^ Lol Yeah Amy, that was funny

Also, when George said he felt like a saint ['holey'] after he regained consciencess. That was funny

And most of Ron's comments were hilarious

And the kiss too - what timing!!

Also, when Percy enters the Room of Requirement and everyone's shocked, the way Lupin tires to lighten the air by shouting out about Ted and showing his picture. LOL that was funny

I laughed so hard, even on my reread when Fred said: "he [Voldemort] can move faster than Severus Snape confronted with shampoo..." That was hilarious!!!

I don't know why... But I ended up remembering p. 487. It just cracked me up, it was late at night, after all.

Quote:
Percy spluttered into silence. Evidently he had not expected to run in most of his family. There was a long moment of astonishment, broken by Fleur turning to Lupin and saying, in a wildly transparent attempt to break the tensin, 'So - 'ow eez leetle teddy?'
Lupin blinked at her, startled. The silence between the Weasleys seemed to be solidifying, like ice.
'I - oh yes - he's fine!' Lupin said loudly. 'Yes, Tonks is with him, at her mother's.'
Percy and the other Weasleys were still staring at one another, frozen.
'Here, I've got a picture!' Lupin shouted, pulling a photograph from inside his jacket and showing it to Fleur and Harry, who saw a tiny tuft of bright turquoise hair, waving her fat fists at the camera.
'I was a fool!' Percy roared...

So pretty much everything that everyone's mentioned, I also found amusing. Yes, I'm quite easily amused.

The "Accio Hagrid" thing really got me. I just stared that the book like ZOMG. I had no idea that you could summon people.

I also found it humorous that Lily called Petunia 'Tuney. I think I snorted out loud.

When the House Elves charged from the kitchen. That was amazingly touching, yet hilarious at the same time. I imagined them all clutching rolling pins, pumping their fists in the air, and yelling "For Dobby!" It was a laugh/cry moment.

Potterwatch was brill'.

And in the epilogue: "I can't give love to a professor."

I found the whole sneaking into the Ministry thing funny. They just stood and waited for people to stun! And when Harry stunned Umbridge, I beamed. Like, that was SO necessary. I hate Umbridge. It nearly made me sick when I read the part about Moody's eye being on her door.

And the funniest thing in the entire book: LUNA'S BEDROOM. ROTFL! That was sooo amazing. Friends.

I was quite amused at Snape’s sarcasm and subtle jokes in the memories with him and Dumbledore. Like this instance:

Albus: “Oh no, not quite yet,”
LOL! <3

OH! And then this; defiantly this:
Quote:

this is going to sound dumb, but at the beginning of the book when Harry get's done reading the Daily Prophet and yells "LIES!" out of the window and she talks about his neighbor looking up nervously made me laugh really hard. i just got a really funny mental image lol.
i guess i have a weird sense of humor...
but of course that wasn't the funniest part of the book, i think that Book 7 was the funniest of all. but when i think of the part that made me laugh the most, that was it. hahaha.

All of the Merlin jokes were priceless. Through out the book I was thinking who is Merlin? Ron just kept going about him/her.

definitely the chapter on the seven potter cracked me up, when they all transformed. how harry thought they were being inappropriate with his body, whe
