What were your favourite quotes from the book? There was some great ones!

Favourite lines ?

Fred/George Weasley, after taking the polyjuice potion to look like Harry, saying "Hey, we look identical !" Nice bit of irony and humour there boys.

Molly Weasley calling Bellatrix a $%^# when she attacked her in defence of Ginny. You go girlfriend...

Fred and George's multiple ear jokes after George lost his ear to the sectumsempra spell.

There's more, but the wife now has the book seeing that I finished it yesterday. I can't pry it out of her fingers to look for favourite quotes, but the above ones do stick out.

I loved the Ron/Hermione fight and like up there ^^^ Molly charging at Bellatrix ^_____^.

I loved the Kreature line when he smacked him over the head with the pan.

Yeah, Kreacher made me giggle. I think the best would have to be "That's my daughter you *insert non-ss appropriate word here*" or something like that, can't quite remember.

lol My Fav was "Thats the Secodn Time We've Saved Your Life, you two-faced *insert non-SS appropriate word here*" lol after he punches Malfoy....trhat means the whole trio got at least 1 punch in during their school years

I loved Ron's sarcasm throughout the book, such as:
"Great, I'll go get our other goblin-made sword so you can gift-wrap it."

I love the Fred and George jokes.

The whole dialogue when Percy returns to Hogwarts, Fred calls him a "Ministry loving , family disowning, power hungry moron", percy agrees, and George says "Well, you can't say fairer than that." Also, Fleur and Lupin having the small talk to cut the tension. I love that whole scene.

I think my favourite emotional quote would have to be, when Harry is walkig through the forest with his dead loved ones and says to his mother "Stay close to me."

Also when Neville tells Voldie he'll join him "when hell freezes over"

All in all, there are too many to choose from.

And then Molly at the End when she attacked belltrix..HA! thats probably gonna be the most loved Quote outta them all

but My Absolute fave was between dumbledore and snape when talking about whats going to happen to harry and how Snape cared about him

One of my fav quotes is Chapter Five when Mrs. Weasley asks George how he feels and he says:

I loved the ear jokes they were good....i loved when molly called bellatrix a *insert non SS appropriate word here* but my all time favorite qoute from the book was on page 518

And in the end it is the same, Both of them have parents who die soon after birth thanks to the dark lord, and they both have grad parents, who were close to their parents. It is the best qoute in the book.

Ron is just hilarious throughout the book <3

Fred & George have some hilarious bits, also. Those ear jokes, hehe.

DD telling Harry in King's Cross, chap. 35:

^One of the saddest moments in the book, IMO.

On a serious one though, I'd say it was Dumbledore talking to Harry saying "Of course it's in your head, but does that make it any less real?"

This book was absolutely full of amazing--and funny--quotes. But, seeing as I can't quote the entire book.

All George's jokes about his ear. Very amusing, despite what Fred might have said.

A lot of what Dumbledore said while at King's Cross.
Mrs. Weasley screaming at Bellatrix.
Snape, his last words.
"Merlin's saggy left--"
"Merlin's pants!"
Peeves' chant.
Kreacher's words at Hogwarts with house-elves.
"Perhaps just one more, Master Harry, for luck?" (I love Kreacher!)
"The fact remains that Voldemort can move faster than Severus Snape confronted with shampoo." (Potterwatch)
"Would you like me to do it now or would you like a few moments to compose an epitaph?" (Snape to Dumbledore)
Ron punching and then shouting to Draco after saving them again, while they were under the Cloak.
"Even after all this time?" "Always."
When Percy returns and, while fighting, shouts that he is resigning.
"Stag? It's a goat, idiot!"
"You--complete--*insert bad word here*--Ronald--Weasley!"

Wow. So many...SO MANY!

I loved:

'"As a matter of fact, I did Confund him..."' - Quoted by Ron.

'"He's snogging her!" James added, as thouh worried he had not made himself clear.' - Quoted by James Potter (junior)

'"Oooh, look, a Blibbering Humdinger!"' - Quoted by Luna.

The saddest one for me was: 'Fred's eyes stared without seeing, the ghost of his last laugh still etched upon his face.'

And so many more. There was one, that really, really stood out to me. It hit me and made me feel all tingly and...just..weird:

'Every secon he breathed, the smell of the grass, the cool air on his face, was so precious: to think that people had years and years, time to waste, so much time it dragged, and he was clinging to each second.'

haha i think they are soo funny. Heres my other fave, its terribly sad.
the one where they say Fred still has a smile etched on his face after dying...ahh i cried like a baby...theres more but i dont feel like looking them up...

Well, there were loads of funny ones, including Peeve's song, and I LOVED Molly Weasley calling Bella a ^#%*£!
But my favourite has to be -

Ron fighting the locket as it tortured him, the way it showed he loved Hermione as it tortured him with the thought that Harry and Hermione were in love and that he was in the shadows constantly
(etc. and lots more, a lot of the book is sad, happy ending though!)
