However, this will NOT be a discussion thread to pull apart other people's theories, it will just be a place to post them. If you have a full theory that you would like to post so others can see it, just PM it to me and I'll tell you what you have to do.
So happy theory making, be as imaginative as you dare! |

| Through reading thousands of posts throughout numerous topics and threads I have taken all of this into account and come up with what I believe is the blueprint for Book 7.
JK has left many clues throughout the books that support all of these theories. 7th Book Theory
Harry will return to the Dursley's for the final time. He will stay there until he turns 17. On his birthday he will leave the Dursley's forever. He and Ron will go take their Apparition Test and both will pass. Harry will then stay with the Weasleys until Bill and Fleur's wedding.
The wedding will go smoothly at first. Harry and Ginny will be a little weird around one other since they both still have feelings for each other. Harry will stay true to his word and he will resist the temptation to get back with Ginny.
The wedding will then be disturbed and Percy Weasley will die protecting his mother, thereby redeeming himself. Percy will be the only one hurt, but everyone will be severely unnerved by the attack.
After the summer the trio will all return to Hogwarts, Hermione and Ron will convince Harry to go back. Slughorn will be the Slytherin Head of House, Hagrid will be the Gryffindor Head of House and McGonagall will do an excellent job running the school despite the lower enrollment.
McGonagall will help Harry continue his search for the remaining Horcruxes, she will allow him to consult Dumbledore's portrait. Harry will then seek out the locket first, Dumbledore will crack the RAB code and tell Harry to check #12 Grimmauld Place. Harry will find the locket and destroy it.
Harry will then go to Godric's Hollow, where he will find out more about his family. Ginny will insist on going with him, and despite Harry's best efforts she will come with him. Without finding a Horcrux there he will seek out Hufflepuff's cup. Hermione will help solve this mystery. They will find the cup and destroy it also.
Harry and Hermione will eventually realize that the item of Gryffindor's is the sword, thanks to Ron. He will then destroy that. Leaving only Nagini.
Harry must find Voldemort in order to find Nagini. Harry will come face to face will Voldemort in the Ministry of Magic. Voldemort will try and kill Ginny, but she will be saved by Wormtail, who owes Harry his life. Voldemort will kill Wormtail and continue to go after Harry and his friends. Snape will be the next to come to the groups aid, he will distract Voldemort and die doing so.
Malfoy will see that he is not truly evil and will return to the good side, but it will take the entire book for him to realize this.
Fawkes will come to Harry's aid and kill Nagini. Harry will then try and finish Voldemort off since all of the Horcruxes are gone.
What Harry does not know is that Nagini was not a Horcrux and Harry himself is the final Crux. However, Voldemort will go after Ron and Hermione, but Harry will sacrifice himself to save them. This will create a protective charm just like Harry's mother used. When Voldemort tries to kill Ron and Hermione the spell will backfire and kill Voldemort for good.
The epilogue will detail Ron and Hermione's wedding and their lives together, as well as Bill and Fleur's life together. It will show Neville returning to Hogwarts to teach Herbology. McGonagall will continue as Headmistress for a long time and create her own legacy at Hogwarts. Hagrid will live happily with Madame Maxime. The wizarding world will flourish since Voldemort no longer reigns supreme. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Special Thanks To: Dainsie and blackskies for contributing to this theory...
That is my theory, tell me what you guys think... Also, post your own complete theories... |

| OK then. Here are some of my thoughts on what just might happen in book 7. Your comments, objections and derision are most welcome. After all, it's a free world that some of us live in. Just remember, it’s a work of fiction, as is the HP series itself.
Harry will have to return to the Dursleys for part of the summer as per the requirement for the ongoing protection charm up to his 17th birthday. Harry will spend a lot of time fuming about Dumbledore, brushing up on DADA, thinking about Horcruxes and plotting revenge. I suspect that more will be learned about Aunt Petunia's knowledge of the wizarding world and her true (perhaps nicer) feelings about Lily will come out, as will some past knowledge about Harry’s parents. Harry, legally able to practice magic outside of Hogwarts the day he turns 17, will give Dudley a parting gift along the lines of the piggy tail that Hagrid gave him several years earlier and will also put Vernon in his place, However, I think that Harry and Petunia will come to a state of truce and acceptance of each other once the air has been cleared between them.
The Weasleys will retrieve Harry to take him to the Burrow prior to Bill and Fleur's wedding, which has been scheduled prior to the start of Hogwart's term whilst the family and friends are still around. The Weasleys will throw Harry a coming of age birthday party and Harry, Ron and Hermione will learn to successfully apparate. This lovely time together will be the calm before the storm
The wedding will draw together the entire Weasley family (except Percy the prat who boycotts it) and the Order of the Phoenix members - this will be a too inviting target for Voldemort and the Death Eaters, and the wedding will be disrupted by an attack in force by the DE's. Blood will be shed and lives lost, including a Weasley twin and a Weasley parent. Also, I guessing that Tonks will be revealed as being under the imperius curse (as evidenced by her recent strange behaviour in Hogwarts in book 6) and she will (involuntarily) become a traitor to the Order, killing or attempting to kill Lupin. Following her subsequent return to normalcy (after she has been stunned and the dust has settled), her guilt and angst about her deeds will be devastating for her and she will die when she storms off in the attempt to seek solo revenge against the DE's in a fit of rage.
Ron's grief from losing family members will finally bring him and Hermione together as a couple when he kisses her as she holds and comforts him. Harry, Hermione and Ron will return to Hogwarts to consult with McGonagal and Dumbledore's portrait in the Head's office. Together, they will eventually work out the locations of the RAB/Slytherin locket and the Hufflepuff cup. The locket is at 12 Grimmauld Place, unless Mundungus has pilfered it and then there will be an adventure trying to track down its wherebouts. The other will be stored in a location significant to Voldemort and might include Hogwarts itself (probably in the room of requirement), at Burke and Borgins where Voldemort worked as a youngster or perhaps a previously undisclosed location.
Harry will get advice on how to recognise and what is actually required to destroy a horcrux and he will leave Hogwarts to pursue the horcruxes and Voldemort, accompanied by Ron and Hermione. Moody and some of the surviving Order members will take Harry aside and try to arm him with what they consider the requisite weapons to take on Voldemort, teaching Harry the unforgivable curses including avada kedavra. Harry will struggle with the implications of using these curses and be conflicted between being a good guy and desperately wanting revenge as he is being taught.
Brainiac Hermione will be instrumental in helping to find and destroy the horcruxes. With Riddle’s diary, Marvolo’s ring, Hufflepuff’s cup and Slytherin’s Locket out of the way, the remaining horcruxes will include Nagini the snake, and an item of Ravenclaw’s.
Harry will come to realise that a Horcrux was made the night that his parents were killed and that the disembodied Voldemort did not have the energy or ability to retrieve it at the time. Since the Potters’ deaths, everything has been packed up and magically charmed and put away out of reach of everyone including Voldemort for Harry’s later inheritance. Harry will find a horcrux item belonging to Ravenclaw amongst his parents’ belongings, having been inadvertently packed away by others not realising what it was. Harry will also probably be attacked after finding it, as Godric’s Hollow is a fairly obvious place for Voldemort to lay a trap for Harry. Harry will defend himself against an ambushing Death Eater such as Crabbe or Goyle (senior) and feel stricken about using an unforgivable curse and killing in his own defence. Ron will die in this battle and Hermione will exact her revenge but feel less guilty than Harry about killing.
The other things to come out of Godric’s Hollow could include a more detailed understanding of Harry’s own history, and perhaps even a way to contact/track Wormtail who was once great friends with the Potters. Hermione’s DADA coins are a precedent for remote contact between friends, and perhaps Harry might find a way to contact Wormtail. He of course, fears the returned Voldemort and owes Harry his life, and just might be convinced to lead Harry to Voldemort.
Wormtail will be killed for his treachery by Voldemort, but Snape will be revealed as a good guy when he temporarily distracts (i.e. gets him to leave) or even disarms Voldemort to protect Harry and then helps to destroy Nagini (Voldemort’s final horcrux). Snape will chastise Harry for not listening to Dumbledore about how to defeat Voldemort with love and the penny will drop for Harry about the room filled with love at the Ministry of Magic. The Voldemort will return and/or Death Eaters will inevitably regain control of the stand off situation and Snape will be killed for his treachery. Harry and Hermione will apparate to the Ministry in their escape from Voldemort who will be lured to follow and try to kill Harry once and for all.
Harry will finally confront Voldemort in the Ministry’s department of mysteries where the room of love largely negates his powers and makes him vulnerable. Harry and Voldemort will fight on physical terms and not just entirely magical but Hermione will have been disabled by Voldemort (e.g. stunned or knocked out). The struggle will lead the weakened Voldemort and Harry into the room with the veiled archway, which will be revealed as a portal to the afterlife. Voldemort will be pushed into the veil and be dragged kicking and screaming into hell by demons from the other side. The scene will fade and Harry will see the archway reconfigure into a portal to heaven, and he will finally see and talk to his parents, who will, after a nice tear jerking chat, advise him to be a good boy, lead a full and happy life, and see you in a century or so in the afterlife.
Harry will return triumphant, marry Ginny and live happily ever after, minus the scar which disappeared after Voldemort’s final downfall. He will become an auror. Hermione will be the new DADA or Transfiguration teacher at Hogwarts. Neville will end up teaching Herbology. McGonagal will have a long and successful career as Headmistress. Ginny and Harry will have a baby boy who looks just like Harry, except has Ginny’s eyes.
There’ll be lots of subplots along the way and probably some new minor characters, but the above could very well be the main thrust of the story. Just a few thoughts for consideration.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Craig Dole | I think that the plot will be rather complicated, so here goes on what I think.
We'll start out at the Order's new headquarters. The Order will be in a meeting, deciding what to do post-Dumbledore's death. In the end they choose McGonagall becuase of the fact that Hogwarts has been closed by the Governors until Lord Voldemort is defeated. Then it cuts to Harry who is at the Weasleys right before the wedding. He will be asked to accompany Ginny down the aisle and will realize that the tiara which Ginny will be carrying to Fleur belonged to Rowena Ravenclaw, becuase it is engraved on the inside. There will be a small confrontation over the tiara and Harry will destroy it on the spot, causing an explosion. The explosion injures the Weasley twins and kills Shacklebolt.
After sorting out the issues of the aftermath wedding, Harry, Hermione and Ron return to Privet Drive so Harry can stay there for the rest of July. During his stay there Harry finds out what it was the Dudley saw when the dementors attacked him. He saw himself at his school, being beaten for being a bully. We get to see a sorrowful and crying Dudley, just like Draco in book 6.
Harry leaves Privet Drive and wanders around a little bit, visiting Godric's Hollow first, where he finds nothing. He then heads to the new headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix. He stays there until early fall, keeping up to date on Voldemort and the Death Eaters. In Mid-September he leaves with Lupin to once again travel to Godric's Hollow, Lupin wanting to see it for himself again. While there, Lupin tells Harry what the Order had figured out about the special circumstance of Lily being given the chance to live. It was becuase it was requested of a Death Eater of Voldemort's, one that Voldemort thought most highly of. Harry believes it to be Snape, but Lupin is skeptical, thinking Snape to have been good then.
The two of them then return back to headquarters. There, he encounters the broken pieces of the mirror Sirius gave him. He repairs it and tries to talk to Sirius. This time, a blurry face appears and Harry hears his Godfather's voice. Eventually, it clears and he is able to talk to Sirius. Sirius then hands the mirror to James and Lily respectively. Harry recounts everything that has happened and mentions the locket. At this, Sirius reacts. He mentions that in Harry's 5th year, Snape arrived at Grimmauld Place and entrusted Sirius with a small box. It was odd, but Sirius accepted it. He looked inside and saw a heavy golden locket, but he forgot about as Sirius did not believe that it was dangerous. Still, it was still probably at Grimmauld Place. Harry then travels to the Black residence to destroy the locket. There, he finds the locket but he is not alone. Snape is also at Grimmauld Place and disarms Harry. Snape explains to Harry why Dumbledore trusted him, not saying who's side he was on. That remains a mystery. Then, he asks Harry why he is at Grimmauld Place, but Harry refuses to answer. That is when Hermione and Ron arrive, threatening Snape. In the end Harry lets Snape go to bring a message back to the Dark Lord that Harry will kill him in the end. Harry summons Kreacher and together they find the locket, destroying it, which causes the house to start to crumble, as if it were the cave. Hermione, Ron and Harry barely survive, but Kreacher is crushed, making the last of the Blacks, elf and human, gone from the Earth.
Afterwards, the trio journies to the Ministry of Magic and makes a visit to the Department of Mysteries, where they study the veil. Harry contacts Sirius again, asking him how to get him out of there, as well as possibly his parents. Sirius tells him there is no way and explains what the veil is, to Harry and the confounded Unspeakables present. The veil is a device that disintergrates the body as it falls through, thereby killing you. There is no way to come back. After leaving, Harry decides to start tracking the third horcrux he must destroy, but is joined by Neville and Ginny who are determined to help Harry in whataver it may be. Harry takes them into his consequence and together the continue the search. Voldemort send Nagini after Harry, to kill his friends and make Harry even more desperate. Nagini is not successful as she only is able to bite Neville and not fatally. Neville is taken to St. Mungos after Harry kills Nagini, using the same spell Snape used on the snake during the dueling club.
As Harry and the gang leave St. Mungo's will Neville after he recovers, Harry is approached by a man. He recognizes him as the lead singer in a band, the same man that the Quibbler had reported was Sirius two years back; Stubby Boardman. Stubby takes Harry and the rest to the Leaky Cauldron, where he admits to Harry that he is the 'long-dead' Regulas Black, brother of Sirius. He admits to having been part of a small secret group with-in the Death Eaters that had been slowly making Voldemort easier to destroy. He tells Harry that with the help of Kreacher he stole the locket from the cave, going on some evidence from an old acquaintance of the young Tom Riddle, Amy Benson. He gave the locket to another member of the group, to be destroyed. That person was Severus Snape, who admitted to 'destroying' the locket, before tearing the group down from the inside. Many were killed, but Regulas escaped, ashamed of being unsuccessful. Regulas also comments on Harry's eyes, saying that the one that loved Lily will probably never kill Harry, becuase of his eyes. He still does not say who it is, believing Harry needs to find out for himself. He agrees to help Harry find the last horcrux though, copmleting his goal.
After a while together, Harry and Ginny decide that their destinies are now one and they get back together. (Enough said there. ) Then, the search for the last horcrux begins, going on some information that Regulas has for Harry. The group travels to the Riddle house, where Regulas is sure that either the horcrux is or the next clue in a long line of clues. There Harry encounters Voldemort. Behind Voldemort is Pettigrew and a couple other Death Eaters. Voldemort casts the Cruciatus Curse on Harry, but is shocked when Harry AND himself both feel the effects of the curse. Harry realizes it is becuase they share the same blood and that the final battle will not be ended with magic. Voldemort tells Bellatrix Lestrange to kill Harry, not realizing that it will kill him as well. But the spell never reaches Harry. Pettigrew, realizing who is right and wrong, dives in front of the curse, taking the full blow and crumpling to the floor. This gives the rest of Harry's group time to cause a commotion, bringing down the roof and giving them a chance to escape. Regulas leads them down the graveyard where there is a small battle between Ron, Hermione, Neville and Ginny against Bellatrix Lestrange, Draco Malfoy and Fenrir Greyback, while Harry and Regulas dig furiously at Tom Riddle Sr.'s grave site for the cup, which they have figured out resides there, due to an inscription on the back of his tombstone. Neville avenges his parents, stunning Bellatrix and sending her back into a tombstone. Ginny deals with Fenrir with her famous Bat-Bogey curse, knocking him out near Riddle's Gravestone. Hermione and Ron team up and corner Draco, but keeping him alive. Harry and Regulas are unsuccessful with the locket, so they blast the gravestone away and it lands on Greyback, crushing his body. They recover the cup and Regulas uses the proper spell to destroy it, making it dissolve. Voldemort is now mortal, but they need to recover. Taking Draco, they return to headquarters. There Harry demands of Regulas who the person who loved his mother was, as they need an ally. He says it is Snape.
Draco becomes a double agent and they let him go. Draco returns to Voldemort and lets Harry and the Order know of his exact location. He has moved from the Riddle House. He has set up his new headquarters at Azkaban, the dementors having revolted. The order sets out for Azkaban and a great battle insues. Regulas is knocked out by Snape, before losing his soul to one of the dementors. Harry and Snape have an encounter before Harry encounters Voldemort. Harry asked him why he killed Dumbledore and Snape answers that is was necesary. Dumbledore only stood in the way of Voldemort. At this moment, Fawkes appears carrying Godric Gryffindor's sword. He drops it to Harry before attacking Snape. When Fawkes is done with Snape, he is bloody and dead. Fawkes perches on Harry's shoulder and together they walk through Azkaban, trying to locate Voldemort. They eventually find him in a cell with Lucius Malfoy and Draco. When Harry attacks Voldemort blasts the sword out of his hands. Voldemort tells Harry that he is going to kill him, even though it will kill Voldemort as well. He tells Harry he has horcruxes and that a loyal Death Eater will bring him back again. Right before he kills Harry, Draco picks up the sword of Gryffindor and brings it down on Voldemort's head, ending the reign of the Dark Lord. |

| I’ve had the chance to reconsider a few issues, and I also realised that I didn’t address a few key plot points that have been confirmed by JKR herself and others. So, here is a somewhat different version of what I think will happen in HP7. Strap yourselves in for this one guys…..
Version 2
Harry will have to return to the Dursleys for part of the summer as per the requirement for the ongoing protection charm up to his 17th birthday. When he turns 17, he will be legally able to do magic, including apparating. Unfortunately, when the protection charm wears off, Little Whinging will see an attack by a Death Eater who attacks Harry and the Dursleys in a home invasion type of ambush – Harry will be disarmed by an expelliarmus curse and Vernon will be silenced (maybe permanently) for his arrogance and bluster in the face of the Death Eater. The Death Eater will then use the crucio curse on the unarmed Harry for fun and games and to intimidate the remaining Dursleys into submission. With the Death Eater concentrating on Harry, a furious Dudley will pick up Harry’s discarded wand and point it at the Death Eater and yell “crucio”, having just heard it and seen the effect first hand. The Death Eater will be affected by the intense pain of the curse and then the champion boxer Dudley will stomp over and land a tremendous right hook on the jaw of the stunned Death Eater, knocking them out. An incredulous Harry will regain his composure and take his wand back from Dudley to control the situation long enough for help to arrive – help in the form of the Weasley family come to get Harry.
The fact that Dudley has magic abilities, only just now seen under extreme circumstances, will be explained to Harry by Aunt Petunia. She will reveal that Dudley, as a direct blood relative of Lily Potter, was always possibly going to have some magic ability, but that Petunia and Vernon did not want them developed in any way. Harry will find out that Dumbledore corresponded with Petunia multiple times about taking Dudley to Hogwarts if he did show magical ability as a youngster, but that Petunia and Vernon refused to allow it and hoped that Dudley would not be magical. To their relief, this seemed to be the case until Dudley’s family was being attacked and Dudley’s extreme emotions and desire for revenge made the crude attempt at a crucio curse partially effective. Petunia will be shocked at Dudley’s abilities but grateful for the reprieve.
Harry will feel remorseful for the attack on Vernon, but will actually mend fences with Petunia and Dudley, as he is truly grateful for their aid. Harry knows that he is off to face Voldemort soon and may never see them again. Petunia will be somewhat apologetic about Harry’s treatment over the years and actually reveal her true feelings about Lily and James – which won’t be as harsh as she’s made out all along. Harry will learn more about his parents from Petunia. It will be revealed that fear of the magical world and jealousy over money (the Potters were quite wealthy) drove the two sisters, Lily and Petunia, apart. Harry will explain what his dangerous mission with Voldemort is now and leave the Dursleys to their muggle existence after reconciling with them at last.
The Weasleys will retrieve Harry to take him to the Burrow prior to Bill and Fleur's wedding, which has been scheduled prior to the start of Hogwart's term whilst the family and friends are still around. Bill will exhibit some strange tendencies following his werewolf attack, such as a penchant for eating his steaks very rare. Fleur will stand by her man though. The Weasleys will throw Harry a coming of age birthday party and Harry, Ron and Hermione will learn to successfully apparate. This lovely time together will be the calm before the storm
The wedding will draw together the entire Weasley family and the Order of the Phoenix members. Victor Krum will come as Hermione’s escort for the event, bringing Ron’s jealously to boiling point. The wedding will be too inviting for the Death Eaters, and it will be revealed that Percy Weasley is a death eater (or acting under the imperious curse) and has revealed the location of the wedding to the DE’s. The wedding reception will be disrupted by an attack in force by the DE's. Blood will be shed and lives lost, including a Weasley twin and/or a Weasley parent. Ron's grief from losing family members will finally bring him and Hermione together as a couple when without thought, he kisses her as she holds and comforts him.
Krum will bow to the inevitable with Ron/Hermione and be somewhat happy for them. Krum will then take Harry aside after the chaos and make a startling revelation - Krum will reveal that he is the direct descendant of Grindelwald – the eastern european name and dark wizarding skills taught at Durmstrang should have been a clue – and that he has learned about horcruxes, including how to destroy them. This knowledge he will share with Harry who will now be able to start his mission in earnest.
Armed with the knowledge that Harry thinks he needs, Harry, Ron and Hermione will go to Godric’s Hollow prior to the start of term in search of some interesting discoveries. James and Lily’s professions will be revealed and Harry will learn more about his family history. An otherwise unknown artefact of Godric Gryffindor’s will be discovered and identified as both a Potter family heirloom and a possible horcrux item that Voldemort was going to put his 6th and last horcrux into the night he killed the Potters and unsuccessfully attacked Harry. Harry will recollect that Dumbledore told him that Voldemort meant to create a horcrux on Harry’s death. Harry will try the horcrux destruction spell and……nothing. The item isn’t a horcrux. Harry will be shocked and bewildered.
Ron and Hermione will convince Harry to return to Hogwarts both to help protect Harry and to consult with Dumbledore’s portrait. McGonagal will be the headmistress of a tense and wary school. The new DADA Teacher will be Kingsley Shacklebolt who takes on the post due to his Order loyalties and connections. Shacklebolt will take Harry aside for personal tuition and try to arm him with what he considers the requisite weapons to take on Voldemort, teaching Harry the unforgivable curses including avada kedavra. Harry will struggle with the implications of using these curses and be conflicted between being a good guy and desperately wanting revenge as he is being taught.
Harry will eventually be invited by McGonagal to consult with Dumbledore’s portrait where the RAB locket connection will be realised. Harry, as owner of Grimmauld place and master of Kreacher will summon him to Hogwarts and interrogate him about Regulus Black. Kreacher will reveal that the locket with the RAB inscription was a horcrux, taken by Regulus Black from the cave. Harry will find out that Kreacher accompanied Black into the cave, assisted him to get past the booby traps and retrieved the real horcrux. Kreacher tended to the dying Regulus (dying from the potion he drank) and Kreacher stored the horcrux in Grimmauld Place on his command, which is where it stayed until pilfered by Mungdungus. Harry will have to track down Mungdungus and interrogate him to find out where the missing locket Horcrux is.
Harry will also find out from Kreacher and Dumbledore that Regulus Black was (secretly?) present the night of Voldemort’s attack. Black was in love with Lily during their latter school years and was close to her by the association with Sirius Black’s friendship. Regulus saw the aftermath of Voldemort’s attack and decided then and there to atone for his errors as a Death Eater. Regulus saw Harry orphaned in the crib and Harry’s eyes reminded him of the dead Lily and so he vowed to try to help Harry. Regulus contacted Dumbledore and Sirius regarding Harry’s attack – Sirius went after Wormtail the secret keeper for the Potters and was framed for the muggle murders and Wormtail’s destruction, before being sent to Azkaban, and Dumbledore looked after the orphaned Harry – and then Regulus went after the horcrux in the cave.
Harry will track down the three remaining known horcruxes throughout the term. Mung will confess and lead Harry to the Locket. The Hufflepuff cup will be stored in another location significant to Voldemort and probably will be at Burke and Borgins where Voldemort worked as a youngster. An object of Ravenclaw’s will be found in the room of requirement at Hogwarts. That will account for all known horcruxes. Of course, I've just condensed or skipped what will be a dozen or so chpaters of the final book......Anyhow, back to the story.
The trio and Dumbledore’s portrait will reconstruct the events of the night of Harry’s attack and come to realise that although Voldemort meant to create a horcrux with Harry’s death, the backfiring of the Avada Kedavra curse ruined things and caused an unintended consequence – Harry’s scar is an accidental horcrux. This will explain why Harry gained some of Voldemort’s powers and why there is an apparent psychic link between the two of them. It also explains the line in the prophecy about the Dark Lord marking Harry as his equal – both ½ bloods, both parseltongues, both have 1/7th of Voldemort’s original soul within them.
Harry will be thrown into great confusion and angst about his own future. He will be revolted at the prospect of having part of Voldemort in his body and consider suicide. There will be a frantic search for clues as to how to remove the horcrux from Harry’s scar without damaging Harry. Dumbledore's portrait will be saddened and express regret and anger at not foreseeing the possibility earlier.
Hermione and Ron, along with the DA gang, will take Harry to Hogsmead at the end of term to try and cheer him up. Outside the protection of Hogwarts, they will be vulnerable and despite being watched by Tonks, Shacklebolt and Lupin, there will be an attack on the three involving Death Eaters (and DA members on the defensive side). Lupin will battle Greyback wolf to wolf and win, although become severely injured. Neville will find some form of redemption by killing Bellatrix to avenge his parents. However, in the chaos, Ron and Tonks will be killed and Hermione kidnapped and used as bait for Harry to go after her.
Harry will be lured to the place where Voldemort is holding Hermione and Voldemort will be in the company of Snape, the Malfoy boys, and the few other surviving death eaters. Voldemort will instruct Draco Malfoy to kill Hermione to prove his allegiance and willingness to do Voldemort’s bidding, seeing that he failed to kill Dumbledore. Draco will hesitate and Voldemort will mock Draco about being a pureblood and not being able to kill a filthy mudblood. Harry in frustration and desperation will yell out that Voldemort is a hypocrite and that Voldemort is a half blood himself – and not a pure blood as he would have the Death Eaters believe. This will create confusion and cause some DE’s to question Voldemort and waver in their support of him. Voldemort will go nuts and start killing off DE’s he considers disloyal by their hesitation. A battle will ensue in which the death eaters will largely self destruct as a group. However, Snape will protect Harry from errant curses and free Harry and Hermione.
Snape will spirit Harry and Hermione away to a safer location and reveal that he has been a plant all along and explains why Dumbledore trusted him to work undercover. Snape will also help Harry with his horcrux problem – Snape realises that the horcrux in Harry was made before Voldemort reconstituted himself with Harry’s blood, and therefore is vulnerable to Harry’s blood protection.
The subsequent removal of the horcrux scar will cause Harry to bleed copiously and weaken him dangerously, but the enchanted blood will help to destroy the final horcrux. Snape will help Harry stem the bleeding, in a similar fashion to the cure used for the sectumsempra curse Harry used on Malfoy - however Harry will be severely injured, weakened and on borrowed time. Snape tells Harry what the prophecy means with regard to Harry having the ability to harness the power of love and tells Harry that he can defeat the now mortal, but still incredibly powerful Voldemort. The penny will drop for Harry about the room filled with love at the Ministry of Magic.
Voldemort will gain control of the situation and find Snape, Harry and Hermione plotting against him. Snape will be killed for his treachery but not before he gives Hermione orders to apparate to the Ministry with Harry. Voldemort will be lured to follow and try to kill Harry once and for all. Hermione will desperately drag and carry the injured Harry towards the department of mysteries but inevitably, Voldemort will catch up and stun but not kill Hermione, leaving just the two to battle it out once and for all.
Harry will finally confront Voldemort in the Ministry’s department of mysteries where the properties of the room of love are manifested in a very strange manner. There will be a magical device in the room that extracts love from subject in order to sample and analyse it. Harry, being full of love, will be able to spare plenty and not be overly affected. Voldemort however, contains very little in the way of love and in fact, it is only Harry’s blood which Voldemort used to reconstitute himself that contains traces of love from Harry’s mother’s blood sacrifice. Voldemort will exsanguinate (bleed profusely) as any traces of "love" are sucked out of him and he will be left dangerously weakened and minus most of his magical powers – he will be quite vulnerable. Harry and Voldemort will fight it out on physical terms and not just magical. The struggle between the two severely injured and weakened combatants will lead them into the room with the veiled archway, which will be revealed as a portal to the afterlife.
In the climax of the final desperate battle, Voldemort will be pushed by Harry into the veil and through the archway and be dragged kicking and screaming into hell by demons from the other side. The hellish scene will fade and Harry will see the archway reconfigure into a portal to heaven, and he will finally see and talk to his parents and Sirius Black who will reassure Harry that they will be together soon in a better place and that Harry should “let go”. As Harry hovers near death in his corporeal body, Hermione will have recovered enough to get moving and track Harry down as he lies dying. Hermione will witness the final few moments of conversation between the earthly and otherworld figures, and then see Harry’s ravaged body collapse for the last time. As he dies, Harry’s spirit, looking serene and healthy, will rise and enter through the archway to join Sirius, James and Lily. Harry will turn and speak to Hermione briefly and then bid her a fond farewell just as Ron appears by Harry’s side and says goodbye to the distraught Hermione too.
It will be a tearjerker, but put the entire Harry Potter series to rest. The epilogue chapter will follow and detail what happens to the surviving major characters.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Nemia Havishaw Fifth Ministry RPG Name:
Pippa Havishaw | Here is some of my theories(its not very good): Sama's Theory
Harry attends Bill's and Fleur's wedding. It unfortunately becomes a tragedy, because deatheaters crash it. Harry then realizes how important it is to start looking for the horcruxes.
Harry tries to slip away after the fight is over(where many deatheaters escape), but Ron and Hermione find him and tell him they are going with them. But before they go Harry runs into Ginny, and they have a long talk. Harry tells her he loves her and can't stop thinking about her. She tells him that she loves him as well. When hearing this Harry has the strengtj to go and find the horcruxes.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione go and start a desperate search to find the horcruxes. Harry has a gut feeling to go to Godric's Hallow, where his parents were killed. Harry goes there and finds clues to his past. Harry, Ron, and Hermione believe that the three horcruxes, that aren't Voldemort and his snake, are at Hogwarts.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione go to Hogwarts and search and find the horcruxes. They soon realize it isn't easy to destroy the horcruxes, but after wondering how to destroy them, they find Dumbledore's portrait and it tells them how to do it.
Then Harry, Ron, and Hermione go into hidding. They try to think of a plan to find Voldemort and his snake.
During this time Ron and Hermione's relationship becomes strained and they are constantly bickering. Harry keeps from going insane by thinking of Ginny. And then Harry becomes desperate and needs to see Ginny. He aparates to Hogsmeade and walks to Griffindor common room and finds Dean.
Dean tells Harry that Ginny has gone looking for Harry. Harry becomes worried and starts looking for Ginny and doesn't even attempt to hide himself. Ginny is no where to be found. Harry begins to believe that Voldemort has her.
Harry goes back to Ron and Hermione. They were terribly worried and told the Order about Harry being missing. Then they won't let Harry start searching for Voldemort, and no one believes him that Voldemort's got Ginny.
One day while Harry is being held captive, he wakes up to find that Neville has joined him. He demands that Harry has to let him find Ginny with Harry. Harry and Neville leave hidding and start looking for Voldemort and his followers.
Harry and Neville run into a large host of deatheaters and with them, being posessed, is Nagini. Harry then speaks to Voldemort through Nagini. Harry demands that he give back Ginny. Voldemort tells him through Nagini that he knew that this would draw Harry to him. The other deatheaters find Harry, Neville, and Nagini and they attack Harry and Neville. They appartate quickly, but before they did Harry destroyed Nagini. They ecsape and gather the Order and have a final battle. Harry knew that Voldemort was hidding in the Chamber of Secrets at Hogwarts.
Along with the Order old DA members at Hogwarts fight the fight along with Harry. Harry fights toward the Chamber where he knows him and Voldemort will fight and where Ginny is. Harry reaches the chamber and sees a crumpled form of Ginny and Voldemort towering over her. Harry calls Voldemort name and they begin battling. Harry then finally with the help of of Ginny love defeats Voldemort.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Louisa Bellacrift Fourth | My god! These theories are very good! And i think with the amount of detail you've put in i wouldn't be suprised if it was almost true! i think it is very likely that snape was in love with lily, that would explain his hatred for james!
I think we've already established that the locket horcrux is at grimauld place because in the 5th book when they're cleaning out the house harry, ron, hermione and ginny come across it but leave it because they can't open it, whether they chucked it out we don't know we also don't know whether it was something mungdungus took which would explain the importance of jkr including harry's meeting with him in hogsmeade!
I also think that snape is still definately a double agent and his loyalty still resides with the order, he and dumbledore planned his death, hence the reason dd pleaded with him at the end of book 6, he will use his new found status to break down voldemort and the death eaters from the inside and continue to pass information to the order. This also explains why dd always trusted snape they've obviously had this plan a long while and i don't think that such a wise man as dd would make the mistake of trusting someone who could so plainly be a de!
I think neville will also have a lot to do with the ending of the book, considering it was a 50/50 chance that it could have been him instead of harry, and he's been a semi-main character throughout the whole series! And a devoted da member! He will get revenge on bellatrix lestrange for the torture and murder of his parents.
Now the dursleys....petunia has always shown her dislike of her sister but i think that's a bit of an act...she simply resents the fact that she wasn't special...perhaps she's a squib? And being a squib made her give up on magic completely and turn to muggle life, dudley however has also got some magical ability which has been supressed desperately by his parents, much to dumbledore disappointment that he couldn't come to hogwarts.
Petunia knows alot more than she lets on and will eventually reveal all to harry when she realises the danger everyone (including muggles) is in! She will help reveal more about harry's parents pasts and ultimately give harry some of the information he needs to defeat voldemort.
Harry may well be a horcrux himself or maybe just his scar but if he himself is a horcrux then in order to completely get rid of voldemort harry must die which i think would be a very sentimental and beautiful ending to a very heroic life. However if it's just his scar that's the horcrux then he need not die
But of course this is a very distant theory as i'm sure if dumbledore had any idea that harry might be a horcrux then he would have warned him before hand! So i'm still quite sceptical lol!!

None | the last battle When Harry turns 17 he will leave the Dursleys and go to find Ron at the Burrow. Together they take their Apperation tests and pass...yay!
Then they have Bill's wedding....
Harry returns to Godric's Hollow (to his old house) and finds a horcrux. Destroys it with the help of Hermy and Ron. They go back to Number 12, Grimmauld Place to see if R.A.B. could be on the Black family tree. They find him on the tree and set out for Hogwarts. Harry gets promission to talk to Dumbledore's picture. He tells Harry that R.A.B. is not dead (yet) and told him where he was last heard to be living. The trio head out for that place and find a run down house and enter it. There they find a dead guy (R.A.B.) on the floor (with the locket). They take the locket back to Hogwarts to show Dumbledore. The horcrux is no longer in it.
They find the other 4 horcruxes and destroy them....
---Just a little question: How can Harry be a Horcrux? Let's look at this....
Voldemort has 7 horcruxes (with a bit of his soul in each of them). Now if Harry was a horcrux, wouldn't Harry know if Voldemort put a piece of his soul inside him?---
The last battle:
Voldemort will try to kill Harry once and for all (duh). He aims his wand at Harry, and just at the last second, Nevile jumps in front of Harry and gets full blast. Harry is saved once again. One more time, Voldemort aims his wand. Fires the killing curse and kills Harry. But because Voldemort took Harry's blood in the fourth book/film, he kills himself in the end.
At the end:
Ginny's crying in her sleep as she sees Harry die over and over again. She promises not to love anyone else but Harry. Hermy and Ron end up married. Hermy goes back to Hogwarts to become a teacher and Ron works in the Ministry. Ginny works at the Ministry but is in a low possison because of her mood she is always in. One of the Weasley twins still runs the joke shop (for the other one died). Bill was killed because the warewolf bit was to strong. Percy was never seen again. Charlie comes back home to his family for good and plays for the England Quidditch team. Author is dead along with many other Order members. All of the death eaters are gone except Malfoy and Snape. Snape turns out to be good (just spying on Voldemort for Dumbeldore). Draco and his father have lost all reason to live. Lucius kills himself to join his master. Draco turns to the good side and is very sorry for Harry .
THE END
*all of my thoughts for the 7th book*
Edit:
I forgot Buckbeak!
Buckbeak now lives with Ginny who inhearited the Black house. Everyone kinda lives at the Black house so Ginny won't be lonely.
Oh, and Kreature now knows that his should-be-mistress is dead and he kills himself. He gets his head put up on the wall with the rest of his family
Now....
THE END
*Although I really didn't want Harry to die, he kinda has to.
"...neither can live while the other survies..."
It is quite sad really *

| Why Harry's Scar is a Horcrux & the Prophecy Upheld This is my complete theroy on why Harry's scar is a horcurx and it's impact on the prophecy and book 7 outcome. PART 1 - Harry's Scar a Horcurx
This is from P/SS Chpter 4, page 55-56 (us paperback) - this is Hagrid talking to Harry: "Never wondered how you got that mark on yer forehead? That was no ordinary cut. That's wht yeh get when a powerful evil curse touches yeh - took care of yer mum an' dad an' yer hosue, even - but it didn't work on you, an' that's why yer famous Harry. No one ever lived after he decided ter kill 'em, no one except you, an' he'd killed some o' the best witches an' wizards of the age - the McKinnons, the Bones, the Prewetts - an' you was only a baby, an' you lived"
How could a baby survive when powerful wizarding families died at the hands of Voldemort?
1) The McKinnons - Marlene McKinnon is introduced to the reader in a photograph of the orignial members of the Order. She was killed by Death Eaters together with her whole family, two weeks after the photo was taken. Hagrid considered her one of the best witches of the age.
2) We know that the Bones Family were first class wizards. Amelia Susan Bones (d. July 1996) was the head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Harry's classmate from Hufflepuff, Susan Bones, is her niece. Her brother Edgar Bones was a member of the Order of the Phoenix during the first war and was killed together with his wife and children by Death Eaters. Madam Bones sat on the Wizengamot and presided over Harry's trial in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in which Cornelius Fudge acted as the prosecutor and Dumbledore was the defence counsel as well as a witness. Despite poor treatment of Harry by Fudge, Madam Bones managed to keep the trial fairly unbiased. During the trial, Madam Bones expresses admiration for Harry's ability to produce a corporeal patronus at such a young age. She was brutally murdered by Voldemort personally shortly before the beginning of the story of HBP. According to Fudge, the recently-dismissed Minister for Magic, she put up a good fight. Afterwards, some members of the Order of the Phoenix referred to her as one of the greatest witches of the era, and several wizards felt deeply troubled by Bones' death.
3) The Prewetts are Molly Weasley's family - Prewett is her maiden name.. Fabian & Gideon are her brothers. They were both member of the Order and faught in the first war against Voldemort. They were considered some of the best witches/wizards of there age. It took 5 of Voldemort's Death Eaters to kill them. Also, Ignatius Prewett (believed to be Molly's uncle) married Lucretia Black. Ignatius & Lurcretia had no childern of their own. But Ignatius in the partenial uncle of Sirius & Regulus Black.
Clearly these families represented the best wizarding families of their era. Clearly an infant - even with powerful wizarding parents couldn't of survived Voldemort's attack on his own.
P/SS Chpter 4, page 57 (us paperback) - this is Hagrid talking to Harry: "Dunno know if he had enough human left in him to die. Some say he's still out there, bidin' his time, like, but I don't believe it. People who was on his side came back ter ours. Some of 'em came outta trances. Don't reckon they could've done if he was comin' back. Most of us reckon he's still out there somewhere but lost his powers. Too weak to carry on. Cause somethin' about you finished him, Harry. There was somethin' goin' on that night he hadn't counted on - I dunno what it was, no one does - but somethin' about you stumped him, all right"
Voldemort was going to make a horcurx the night Harry was to die - he was going to use something he had with him to create a horcurx when he murdered Harry.
After he killed Lily & James, Voldemort prefomed the complex spell to create something into a hurcrux, then he prepaired to kill Harry and create his horcurx.
However, when he turned his wand against infant son, Harry, his curse rebounded upon him. He was ripped from his body and forced into hiding, leaving Harry with a distinctive lightning bolt scar on his forehead, the only physical sign of Voldemort's attack. "There was somethin' goin' on that night he hadn't counted on" - that was that Lily placed protective charms/spells on Harry before the night of the attach. That combined with Lily scarficing her life, willingly for her son, created an old magical protection in Harry.
The Horcrux is supposed to reside in an object, inside. But this horcrux could not reside inside of Harry due to the powerful protective magic place on him by Lily. So the scar was created.
I think it is possible that Lily put charms on Harry before they were attacked at Godric's Hollow. She was described by Slughorn as having outstanding natural ability at Potions, was excellent at charm work, she became Head Girl and was a member of the Slug Club. Her natural abilities only got stronger ay school so I am sure she had a great knowlege of charms and spells. Also we know Slughorn knows a lot and he was the one that gave Tom Riddle about the information on how to create horcruxes!
Also, for more than a year before the attack, Dumbledore suspected that Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom might be targeted by Lord Voldemort because of the prophecy. Dumbledore would want to protect the Potters and Longbottoms so I'm sure he told them that they could be in danger. A week before the attack, Dumbledore suggests that the Potters use the Fidelius Charm to protect their hiding place.
Lily might have known up to a year in advance that her son was at risk. Wanted to protect him she might have put protective spells on Harry at any time up until the day of the attach. I know I would do anything to protect my own childern as much as I could! So I think it makes perfect sense to have put protective spells on Harry.
Because of the protective spells/charms placed on Harry instead of Voldemort's echo of soul entering into Harry and possesing him or turning his body into a full fledge horcurx, it laid upon the skin on his forehead only.
Something strange happened that night, something nobody could forsee because the killing curse had never backfired before. The echo or fargment of Voldemort's soul that was set loose by the horcurx spell, moved into Harry where the curse hit and rebounded - creating Harry's lighting blot scar instead. The scar being a horcrux does explain many of the links with Voldemort, as well as its being a separate entity from Harry himself (why Harry isn't possed) allows for the ongoing coexistence with Harry with minimal symptoms and its possible future removal.
If Voldemort went to make a horcrux using Harry's death and things backfired, presumably the 7th "horcrux item" would still be found at Godric's Hollow. This is one of the things Harry might find when he visits his family's home and graves.
This would explain what Dumbledore means when he tells Harry, "that is no ordinary scar".
This would explain why:
1) Harry's lightning bolt scar is the only physical sign of Voldemort's attack.
2) Harry feels pain in his scar when Voldemort is near
3) Harry can understand and speak parseltounge (this is an extremely rare talent known primarly to dark wizards)
4) Harry can read Voldemort's thoughts
5) Harry can feel what Voldemort is feeling PART 2 - The Prophecy Upheld
This also enforces what the phropecy says and why it is likely to come true... "The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches...born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies...and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not...and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives...the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies..." The prophecy has already started to come true.
1) Snape was found eavesdropping outside of the door at the Hog's Head, where Dumbledore was interviewing Sybill Trelawney for a teaching job at Hogwarts. During the interview she fell into a trance, a told the prophecy regarding Voldemort and a foe who had the power to vanquish him. Dumbledore told Harry that there was an eavesdropper, but said that the eavesdropper only heard the first half of the prophecy and only reported that portion of it to Voldemort.
So the part that Voldemort heard was... “The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches. born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies . and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not”
This made Voldemort decide to go after the Potters and baby Harry and not the Longbottoms. Voledmort connetced more with Harry because they were both half bloods.
2) "and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal"
This happened the night Harry got his scar.
A mark = a visible impression or trace on something, as a line, cut, dent, stain, or bruise
To mark = the physcial act of creating a visible impression or trace on something, as a line, cut, dent, stain, or bruise
Voldemort killed Liliy & then James, when Voldemort turned his wand against their infant son, Harry, his curse rebounded upon him. He was ripped from his body and forced into hiding, leaving Harry with a distinctive lightning bolt scar on his forehead, the only physical sign of Voldemort's attack. This only intensified his obsession to follow through with the prophecy and ultimately kill Harry.
3) "but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not..."
We know this is love. Lily's love for Harry caused her to scarifice her life to save his. Harry's ability to love - his friends and family - set's him apart from Voldy.
Dumbledore said in SS, "Your mother died to save you. If there is one thing Voldemort cannot understand, it is love. He didn't realize that love as powerful as your mother's for you leaves its own mark. Not a scar, no visible sign ... to have been loved so deeply, even though the person who loved us is gone, will give us some protection forever. (...) It was agony to touch a person marked by something so good."
Combined with the spells/charms Lily already had in place, when she choose to scarfice her life to save her son that sealed the ancient magic of Love in Harry. Knowing this, Dumbledore than created the "Bond of Blood" Spell on Harry. This is also an extremely powerful ancient magic. Dumbledore's charm (and Lily's strengthened) when Petunia Dursely's (Harry's only blood relative) accepted Harry into their home. Harry's protection will last, as long as he can call the Dursely's house home, he visits once a year he will have this protection until he comes of age (turns 17).
Dumbedore explained this in OoTP, Chapter 27, page 835-836 (US paperback): "I knew that Voldemort's knowledge of magic is perhaps more extensive than any wizard alive. I knew that even my most complex and powerful protective spells and charms were unlikey to be invincible if he ever returned to full power.
But I knew too where Voldemort was weak. And so I made my decision. You would be protected by an ancient magic of which hw knows, which he despises, and which he has always, therefore, underestimated - to his cost. I am speaking, of course, of the fact that your mother died to save you. She gave you a lingering protection that flows in your veins to this day. I put my trust, therefore, in your mother's blood. I delivered you to her sister, her only remaing relative"
"She doesn't love me", said Harry at once. "She doesn't give a damn -"
"But she took you," Dumbledore cut across him, "She may have taken you grudgingly, furiously, unwillingly, bitterly, yet still she took you. Your mother's scarifice made the bond of blood the stongerst shield I could give you. While you still call home where your mother's blood dewlls, there you cannot be touched or harmed by Voldemort. He shed her blood, but it lives on in you and her sister. Her blood became your refuge. You need to return there only once a year, but as long as you can still call it home, there he cannot hurt you. Your aunt knows this. I explained what I had done in the lettr I left with you, on her doorstep. She knows that allowing you houseroom may well have kept you alive for the past 15 years."
This protection is not clearly understood by Voldemort and this is the "power the Dark Lord knows not..." The outcome: "and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives."
Either means 1 : being the one and the other of two : EACH <flowers blooming on either side of the walk> <plays either instrument well> 2 : being the one or the other of two <take either road>; Function: noun
: an unavoidable choice or exclusive division between only two alternatives;
The prophecy does mean that one of the two must die at the hand of the other but it does not say how long the one has to survive.
Everyone assumes a long happily ever ending type situation. However, if there is a battle - Harry can kill Voldemort and be mortally injured and then die himself a few moments later (or vise verse). Also Harry could release that his scar is a horcurx and after killing Voldemort, then purposely kill himself to save the wizarding world and his loved ones.
I do think Volemort having Harry's blood in him will be something that helps Harry in the end and is directly related to Dumbledore's look of trumphet! His blood will somehow neutralize the horcrux in him and his scar will disappear once he kills Voldemort. Or could have something to do in a different way that has not be revealed to us. Harry will learn of this from Aberforth or perhaps Dumbledore's portrait.
Dumbledore did explain why the prophecy must come true - and why "and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives" is important: "Go to?" said DD. "Of course you got to! But not because of the prophecy! Because you, yourself, will never rest until you've tried! We both know it! Imagine, please, just for a moment that you have never heard of the prophecy! How would you feel about Voldermort now? Think!"
"I'd want him finished," said Harry quietly. "And I want to do it."
"Of course you would!" cried DD. "You see, the prophecy does not mean you have to do anything! But the prophecy caused Lord Voldermort to mark you as his equal... In other words, you are free to choose your way, quite free to turn your back on the prophecy! But Voldermort continues to set store by the prophecy. He will continue to hunt you...which makes it certain, really, that -"
"That one of us is going to end up killing the other" said Harry. "Yes."
Bottom line - if Voldy never knew of the prophecy none of these series of events would of happened. Voldermort makes the prophecy the most important thing standing between himself and immortality. So he will follow the prophecy until it ends and will never rest until Harry is dead.
Harry knowing that Voldemort is out there in the world will never rest. He wants to avenge the deaths of his family and friends. He believes in good and wants to concur evil once and for al | |
