So from the trailer we can work out that it is NOT happening in the great hall, but instead the entrance courtyard, annoying, but thats just the way it is.

My concern is the lack of people that seem to be around them, in the books everyone is watching and waiting to run to Harry when he wins, the lack of this in the trailer has got me concerned that they have decided to make it solely 'Voldemort Vs Harry' moment and the waitnig crowd will not see him defeat Voldemort, I hope not.....

I agree! I love how in the book everyone saw, in the movie, what's he gonna do?

"Hey everybody! I just defeated Voldemort. Too bad no one saw it though. Oh well. Let's celebrate!"

I expect people to be gathering nearby too. Well, it happened so in the book. They should stick to it. Furthermore, every surviving fighters of Battle of Hogwarts suppose to know Snape's true allegiance when Harry explained it to Voldemort.

I hear that Yates wants to expand the battle between Voldemort and Harry Potter. He thought it was anti-cimatic in the book. I disagree with him completely.

Yeah I know a lot of people who didn't like that change. I disliked how when Harry walked in, everyone was silent and no cheerings? Everyone looked solemn and sad. They might have been brighter if they had saw Harry defeat Voldemort.

i loved the final duel! i kinda wish they did it like it was in the book, in front of everyone.

I was against the movie version of the final duel when I saw it in the trailer too. But after seeing the movie, I realized that I actually really liked the way it was done in the movie. Just Harry and Voldemort. It was always Voldemort and Harry throughout the whole series so I kind of liked that it just ended with the two of them. I've started to watch the movies as things completely separate from the books because it makes them way more enjoyable when I'm not picking things apart (which I tend to do...a lot )

I was kind of annoyed that they didn't show Harry telling Voldemort about his mistakes, I thought it was a really fitting downfall for Voldemort. And also, what was with the disintegration thing? I watched it in 3D and it just looked like Voldemort confetti - bit disappointing, but on the whole an amazing film

I thought it would have been better for them to be watching and cheering. I felt really lost when I saw it the first time and people were't happy and cheering. Although I understand that they had been up for however long and been doing so much fighting they were just exhausted, but I wish they did the big cheer.

The disintegration thing I like I thought it was good. You see others die and they just die and their body flops, but he was so divided with his soul and he was really just a shell. And all the bad he did - plus he wasn't really human anyway, more snake than anything O_o so it was fitting that he didn't die the same way as others did I suppose.
