Default Lily/Snape


OKay so this has been bugging me forever....
I know they showed Lilly and Snape being friends while they were kids and when they were young at Hogwarts...(The book did go on to say that they were friends through out school untill Snape started hanging out with the 'death eaters') AND I know they made it known that Snape was in love with Lilly. Completely in love with her. He also had a doe for his patronous. AND I know that everything Snape did was only because of Lilly.

Now my question is did Lilly at one time love him?

In the movie when Harry 'died' and was talking to Dumbledore Harry asked him if it was curious that Snape had a patronous of a doe for his mother.. And i can't exactly r emember what Dumblebore said in response but I think he agreed with Harry that it was also curious..

So thoughts on Snape/Lillys relationship..?!? Was there anything more to their relationship besides just friends??

I think love is a very strong word. I think at one point Lily may have liked him, and there was defiantly the potential for there to be a relationship and a chance for Lily to learn to love him. But- Severus kinda ruined it didn't he?

Dumbledore said, when Harry saying about the patronuses, "actually, Harry, I don't think that's curious at all." or something like that anyway.
I think that Lily at one point, when they were very young, that Lily did like Severus, but for Lily I think she thought them very good friends because Severus kind of told Lily about the Wizarding world and that in actual fact she was a witch.
