That wasn't in the book. And that's completely mental to make her die in the movie, she didn't do anything (but steal my WonWon)! GRRRR! Lavender is quite cool, I can't believe they did that....it makes the movie so much sadder with (im not going to name in case I spoil) all the other characters who die yeesh. Quote:

Hermione kissed Ron cuz he said "We have to save the house elves" and she got all happy and then there was the kissing.

I kind of didn't mind. I thought it was brilliantly done and the music and everything when Hermione forces Greyback away from her was so touching. I liked it because for those of us who have memorized the books, it was something to get us crying and in shock--we knew all the other deaths that happened. It was a nice touch.

Doesn't bother me, I've always hated Lavender.. And I mean yeah it wasn't in the book, but wheter she dies or not, doesn't make a big difference. I know you all (just like me) hate it when things are differently in the books and in the films.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I remember reading one of the interviews where (sorry, can't remember the name of the girl who portrays Lavender) mentions, or rather, hints that her character was killed. She mentioned something along the lines of Lavender being in very bad shape.
Doesn't bother me in the slightest though. In fact, I almost expected it, so nothing was spoiled for me yet.

It didn't bother me, as in the book, in was kind of vague as to whether she actually survived her attack with Greyback. It wouldn't have been in the movie if Jo didn't stamp it with her seal of approval. She wasn't such a major character that it was too terrible, I cried nonetheless, but I pretty much cried all through that portion of the movie.
