I agree with everything said here.

I really didn't like the McGonagall vs Snape fight. I really detested the way Harry gave the speech to Snape about him killing Dumbledore, but never did the writers put in when Harry met Voldemort after Snape's death that Snape was never 'his man.' I felt Snape was never truly vindicated in that sense.

Harry never fixing his own wand with the Elder wand really made no sense to me.

The whole blown over Remus/Tonks story was so unjustified imho.

No conversations with the portraits. I thought that really added to the story.

The Ariana story completely blown over made me upset.

I've probably said all this before, but hey, still bugs me.

This is coming from someone who has never read the books (but plans to very soon), while I did enjoy Hallows 1&2 alot, I do believe the director could have done a much better job. Given he had the chance to explain the book across TWO movies ... ! That's a lot of screen time - enough to have added more emotion. I felt sad that the series ended, but I didnt feel ANY emotion for any of the characters, there just wasn't the right filming for me as a viewer to feel that connection at all - and I think, that's quite a big FAIL. And from what I've read about true hard-core Harry Potter fans (esp the one's who have read the books), they were quite dissapointed with the scenes or rather lack of scenes from 5, 6, 7i, 7ii, that would have made the films a bit better. I do understand that while no book in the world can possibly be done into a movie word-for-word, I still didn't feel any emotion by the time Hallows 2 was finished and that to me is why I'm quite upset, if not emotionally damaged for the rest of my life - the director had one chance to get it right and he didn't! After 10 years!!!!! :'( *SOB!* ....

i was shocked when i heard about harry fixing his wand in the book, but wasnt show in the movie - Wot the ?????? the director needs help, none of which anyone can give him. And I find what you said about snape quite interesting, i was wondering while watching the movie, why harry never confronted voldemort about snape's good side... there was just no real conversation at all !

I read the books first. That's why I'm disappointed. I should have watched the movies first.

things i didn't like:

1.)POTTERWATCH: what happened to that?!

2.)Lupin and tonks!: wheres they story in this! what about teddy?!

3.)Ariana/Dumbledore's story!: soo much info left out!

4.) everything that happened in the Ravenclaw common room!: again soo much info left out.

5.)Didn't anyone notice that the part where they showed Fred with the death eater, it was George! because George was wearing purple and Fred was wear yellowish colors! in the scene one of the twins was wearing purple so i HAD to be George.

6.)the final battle between Harry and Voldemort: why couldn't do like in the book? where everyone was watching! i would have made it more dramatic.

Other than that i LOVED the movie! i cried harder on the part where George asked if Fred was okay, that when Fred really died. )': and the way Snape died that was SOO hard to watch. )':

They skipped Harry's birthday, could've saved a lot of the Harry/Ginny awkwardness that way.

They didn't follow Kreacher's change in his warmth toward Harry, which I would have really liked to see.

I absolutely hated all of the disintegrating effects. It was like somebody on that editing team found a new effect on the computer and had to use it for everything. Between the force field, the snake, and Voldemort, it got really anti-climactic with everything just floating away like burnt pieces of paper.

Also, WHAT WAS UP WITH THE BREAKING OF THE WAND!??! He was not supposed to do that! Harry putting it with Dumbledore made way more sense, plus I have a hard time believing that destroying the most powerful wand in the world is as easy and snapping it in half with minimal effort. That was some artistic license I could've done without.

Whether you come back by page or by the big screen Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home.

I would have loved to see it into a 3 part movie It would have been awesome!

I'm very easy to please when it comes to Harry Potter and I don't really have any criticisms but with the last movie I didn't feel excited when Voldemort died... In the books I did but the movie just had it too calm, no real excitement or anything which I would have liked to see.
