It was said recently that the movies are going to be told very much from Harry's point of view, meaning often really great bits in the book have been over looked, as such I am TERREFIED that the fight between Bellatrix and Molly, in which Molly kills The Great Death East will be left out of the film?!!!!! Surely not??

What are your thoughts?

I really hope it is kept in and remains true to the book, i.e they dont change it and have Neville killing her or something!!

I would think that if it was in the movie at all they wouldn't change it and have Neville kill her. He's got his own heroic moment when he kills the snake.

It's a huge moment for Molly and the Weasley family, since Fred was already killed. So, I would think that they would keep it in there!

I do hope so, for me its far more exciting than Harry vs Voldemort!

In the book, Harry witnesses the fight, so even if the movie is from Harry's point of view, the fight should still be in there. It better be in there. I know a lot of people are really looking forward to that scene and Molly's unforgettable line, in particular.

Thats true, here's hoping! I think it will be in, I remember hearing Julie Walters say to Ben Shephard that her big moment comes in Part 2!

So you'd have to assume that this scene will be there.

Considering that the books themselves are from Harry's POV (save a couple chapters in the last few books) and Harry himself sees Bellatrix get owned by Molly, I wouldn't worry about this scene being taken out. Plus, I'm pretty sure it's been mentioned before in an interview and that Molly does get her big moment against Bellatrix.

Besides, they've kept a few of the scenes that were in the book that Harry wasn't present for or eavesdropping through Voldy's mind. Remember the Unbreakable Vow scene between Narcissa and Snape?

Just found out from people who went to the preview screening, the legendary quote is IN!!!!!!!!!! Apparently they do battle atop a raised platform in the hall in front of everyone, OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!

This is a great moment in the book I love Mrs. Weasley There was a test screening in Chicago few weeks ago and i read that we can see this scene in the film I can't wait...

I think this is the most intense battle scenes of two women who are hostile to each other there is resentment and hatred in it. must be very cool, and this is one scene in the determination of both novels and in film. I'm also waiting for this scene, but fortunately they didn't fight like mrs. weasly and belatrix he..he..he..

I think the scene could've been longer and the way Bella died.. It was rather weird. But I've always hated Mrs. Weasley so her killing her.. It feels just so wrong. It is wrong. That little woman shouldn't kill this great witch. It dosn't make sense. Wish Neville had killed her or something..

I loved this scene! It was great and Bellatrix got what she deserved! Everybody in the theater practically clapped when she was defeated.

Before Molly casted the curse, I was like "Whoo!"
After, I was like "Yeah, Molly!"

It would have been awesome though, if Neville killed her. So his parents could be avenged and all.

during that scene, the entire theatre went crazy. Molly's rating went through the roof especially with that line. GO MOLLY!!!

I absoutley loved that scene. In the movie i was like "Ha!" The whole group of friends I went cheered during that scene.

That scene was amazing in the movie, though I thought the fight could have been longer, not to complain or anything because it was one of my favorite parts. Everyone in the theater clapped when Molly said her line and again when she killed Bellatrix.
