Ah, my sweet young Briarmeer
will I ever catch your eye?
My heart longs for you to come but nearer
Yet here I sit alone and sigh.
When first we met, I cannot lie
I thought you sweet, gentle and shy
And now I see you in another light
So brave and strong and ready to fight!
Is it any wonder that no other
has turned my head or caught my eye?
Who can compare to you, sweet lover?
I'll fight at your side, even should I die.
Let me only show you
how sweet my love can be
through hardships and darkness, too
I'll be your light so you can see.
And even when we are apart
know you are ever in my heart♥

that once we loved and once we kissed

And in my dreams, you hold me still
And I know you always will
Forever, I'll belong to you
To you alone, my heart is true
And if we never speak again
