Well, I have the answer: since Oja has stepped down, I have been asked to take over her spot as co-pressie.

Fanclub Fanfic

The month of July is just around the corner and we need a little help to kick off the celebration. It’s time to put on your Thinking Cap and gather your black rimmed Harry Potter glasses for a month of fun and writing. Being part of the Snitchseeker Fan Clubs, the Admins and Mods have come up with a bit of fun with spectacular roles for all Fan Club members to enjoy and take part in.

As you know, Deathly Hallows is the seventh and final novel from the Harry Potter series. What if you, the members, could write the final book the way you see it or the way you would like it to end? Well, the time has come to hear your side of the story as told by your favorite Fan Club character in ‘Fanclub Fanfic’.

What we need from the Fan Clubs right now is for you, as a team, to agree on a topic or storyline for your character. You may participate in more than one Fan Club, it is all up to you, just as long as you have fun. Start a thread within the characters forum or have a discussion in the thread and have everyone post their thoughts and contributions to the story, to see where the novel would start and end.

CALLING ALL DA MEMBERS!

This July, the ultimate Harry Potter month, Snitchseeker.com is celebrating BIG TIME! One of the activities planned for the month is: The Order Vs The Mark, the Ultimate RPG between Good Vs Evil.

Members will get one week to choose sides: Order or Death Eater in this battle. The battle consists of trivia questions. Those who are chosen to be in the Order will answer trivia about the Death Eaters. Those who are chosen to be in with the Death Eaters will answer trivia about the Order. There is a designated place for Order members and then a designated thread for Death Eaters. Order members will not be permitted to post in the Death Eaters' thread and vise versa. You will get a chance to face the "foe" face to face in the thread entitled "Smack Talk." (Also, you get a cool 'Order' or 'Death Eater' tag on your profile to indicate what side you're on. This will help us Moderators to supervise...and prevent others from trying to cheat!)

I am a Mod for this event, and I expect all DA members to aid in the Death Eaters' defeat!

All FC presidents and sponsors have received a pm from Stacey [aka LadyNerd] and I just wanted to share it with you so that you could be aware of the purposes of the FC's and the importance of the discussion threads.

I have high lighted this because there are a few clubs out there who do not let the members of the fan club start their own threads. The purpose of having the members start their own threads was to get them involved in the fan club. That member is also to keep an eye out on their discussion thread and make sure that it is kept active, a key role in allowing that member to feel part of the club and allowing them to have something to carry out in the club.

Now I know that there are clubs who keep their discussion threads opened and I do not have a problem with that and it would be good to keep them opened for the new members that join and also for those discussions that are highly popular.

Also on that note, I want to make sure that all Presidents know that when starting any type of event or something that is bigger than just a single thread, PLEASE discuss things with your Sponsor first and get permission from them.

I am greatful to have such devoted Presidents of each club here on SS and I am proud of you all for the wonderful responsibility and respect that you have shown not only to your Sponsors, but also to the FC Mods.
