Entering the Dueling arena, Liz looks around, amazed. "I forgot how cool this room was."

Determined to master her Patronus Charm she started last year in their last class. Liz places her bag near the wall, and takes out her wand.

Looking back to this past summer, she starts thinking about the Degnoming they had done, and the party they had. She then attempts the spell

"Expecto Patronum!"

Hmmm, that got that same light design but no actual figure. Thinking some more, she sits down near her bag, trying to find the happiest memory she has ever had.

James climbs onto the stage and spots Liz.
"Hey!" he runs over to her. "Fancy a duel?" he asks happily. He rummages in the pocket of his robes for a few moments before extracting his wand. He gave it a small squeeze and red sparks shot out of it. He snickered.
"Expecto Patronum!" he shouted. A large, Siberian huskey erupted from the tip of James' wand. He allowed it to wander around him for a few moments before it disipated. He looked back towards Liz eagerly.

"Expecto patronum", Edward said. A Lion errupted out of his wand a prowled around.

Livvy glanced around for someone to duel with and spotted Edward practicing his patronus. She skipped towards him and asked, "Hey! Wanna duel?" Although her knowledge on magic was rather small, she still wanted to practice. Livvy glanced around and saw that many people were practicing the Patronus charm, but Livvy had never learned that so she watched in awe. She then decided to just practice a simple charm and pulled out her wand.

"Wingardium leviosa!" Livvy yelled out and a book flew into the air.

"Sure, why not." Liz says nervously. "I'm not the greatest at duels yet...just to warn you.

"How'd you manage that! I cannot even find a great memory to do the patronus yet. This is all I get..."

"Expecto Patronum!" as silvery swirls erupt from her wand and fade.

James shrugged off her apparent deficiency in dueling.
"Don't worry," he said reassuringly. "I'll help you." He lowered his hand and held his wand loosely in his hand.
"Oh, my Patronus?" he asked. "I learned that while I was in Japan last term." he smiled. "The family I was staying with insisted that I learned how to cast one."

"I have a hard time with mine. My papa says he thinks it's because I'm still having a hard time since my mum died 2 years ago."

Standing up, Liz takes a deep breath, and says "Are you ready then?"

Lucas with his little green hardhat with the light on and his Dora the Explorer backpack. He pushed open the door to the dueling area and looking around. He saw some students already there. He sat down and watched them do what they were doing. He pulled out his quill and his map and drew in the dueling classroom.

Lisa walks into the duel room for the first ever time.She didn't have a partner yet,just as she was thinking she'll have to practise alone she saw someone not duelling. "Hi, do you want to duel?", Lisa asked him; it was a guy who was about her own age probably.

Chalice walks into the arena, she is a bit nervous because she has never been in this room before. She mostly practiced her spells on the grounds on random things she had set up. Chalice looks around for a partner to practive with and on. " Does anyone need a partner? If you do, I'll be your partner.", said Chalice loudly enough for everyone in the room to hear. " I only know a few spells, so there isn't much of a risk in pairing up with me." Until someone decides to be my partner I'll just practice over in a until a person is willing to help me.

"Youre on", Edward said.

"Expelliarmus"

Amanda walked into the duelling arena with a deadly smirk on her face, in her 1st year, she spent a lot of time here and in the hospital wing. Course things this year wouldn't be any different except she could duel basically anyone she wanted. She sat down on the sidelines, watching the duels currently happening.

Ray entered the dueling room, ready to duel anyone he wanted, it's been a while he had duelled anyone and he was ready to get back on setting records. He looked around for someone to ask him for a duel.

Chalice spotted Ray accross the arena. " Ray, would you like to duel?"

Ray turned around and noticed a young Gryffindor calling him and asking him if he wanted to duel. "Sorry you my name?" Ray asked.

Amanda got up and smirked once more. "Alright, I'm putting out a challenge, those who wish to duel me shall meet me right here" She said, quite loudly, drawing her wand.

"I will duel you" Ray said abanding the Gryffindor. "Show me what you got, I'm Ray James Hufflepuff"

"The name's Amanda Raven Lesalle" She said with a slight smirk, heading into the center of the arena. Another Hufflepuff who's older than her wanting to duel her, how amusing!

Ray followed Amanda to the center of the arena, and then turned around walked ten paces and stopped before turning around again and facing Amanda and bowed before taking his stance. "Whenever your ready!"

Amanda had her wand held nicely in her hand, this should be a interesting duel, slightly unfair, but that's how Amanda liked her duels. "Furnunculus!" She yelled, casting the curse directly at Ray.

Ray quickly acted, he rose his wand and muttered "Protego!" and watch as the curse that was sent at him rebounded towards Amanda as he muttered "Stupify!" Lets see how good are you?
