Off to the side, sits a small, narrow room, closet size, as a matter of fact. The door has been propped opened to allow air to circulate as it does become a little hot, no matter the temperature outside. On the inside sits a wooden desk, almost too large for the room it occupies at the moment, with different pictures lined across the top, consisting of his family and friends. Behind the desk in the corner is a stack of books that Caleum holds dear to him, from different books on potions, spells, charms, even a book of Hogwarts, A History can be found.

In front of the desk sits one lonely chair as it was the only other thing to fit inside the walls of the small closet-turned-into-an-office. He welcomes you to have a seat if you are not claustrophobic in any way, but if you are, the hallway is always a much better place to be at times.

Caleum was reading over a few notes from various history books that he had brought with him to school. Only Merlin knew of his love for history but, his ears caught the sound of the air being muffled in his office. Someone was at the door. His eyes darted up to find a young Hufflepuff just standing at the door not saying a word, not even knocking. Now this was interesting.

Instead of saying the normal words of "come in", he sat back in his chair, folding his hands and bringing them to rest on his chin. His head tilted slightly as if to see a little better at the door, just to allow his visit the proper annoyance of knowing that he acknowledged the boy in a silent matter.

Hmmm. Caleum brought his hand up to his face and scratched his chin. This little fella was a strange breed, one that seemed to be a little bit of fun to play with...one that liked...pranks...maybe? Caleum's eyes surveyed the boy wondering what his next moves would be.

Oh this Hufflepuff was something else. Intending to not act his age at the moment, Caleum kept the silent treatment up. It was rather fun playing with the little one at his door. First thing that ran through his mind was if this student was one that liked pranks. Hmmm?

Caleum slipped his hand in his pocket and pulled out a box of belching powder, placing it on his desk in front of him. A smirk arose on his face as his bright blue eyes continued watching the little student with curiosity.

AH! A nod! Caleum kept his face emotion-free from any snickering, smirk, or a simple hint of a smile. This one was surely mysterious. He liked that.

His eyes shifted to small one man chair that sat in front of his desk. He wondered if the young student understood...eye movement.

Caleum's head snapped in the general direction of where a fist seemed to plow into the door...wall...didn't matter, it scared him half to death. Finally breaking the silence of the room, he spoke up as he heard a nicer knocking on his door.

"May I help you," he asked in a soothing voice as his eyes glanced at the student in question.

Caleum tilted his head to the side and smirked. "Ah! The Charms...area...thingy is on the third floor," he began with a slight chuckle. "You missed it by two floors. But not to worry! Everyone gets a little turned around sometimes. Not a problem at all."

Caleum smiled at the young Hufflepuff as he also seemed to be caught off guard by the sudden noise from the Slytherin girl.

Ah. Two floors. Great.

"Thank you, and uhum... I'm sorry about the door." That was possibly about the biggest explanation she was going to give about the chip of wood she'd haistly stowed inside her robes. Biting her lip once more, she gave him a small smile and added, "And I'm sorry for interrupting."

She fled.

Closing the door, gently.

Caleum blinked a could of times as the little Slytherin student excused herself to hurry off to what he guessed to be the charms area. A place he would need to visit himself and soon. His attention however turned back to the little Hufflepuff that was still in front of him, still not a word spoken. He was ready to make his rounds and if he had too, he was dragging this little one off with him.

Ah! This kid knew exactly what was in the box. He had to be cautious of his actions, completely. "Sometimes," Caleum answered with a smirk on his face. His eyes glanced to what was being held out in his hand. "I see you do too." A broadening smile curved on his lips. Once a Huffie, always a Huffie. "Fun isn't it?"

"Nice to meet you Mr. Denton," Caleum said as he sat back in his chair and crossed a leg on top of another. "I'm Mr. Myers," he began as he rested his arms on the arms of the chair and then brought a hand up to his mouth. "You know, I think I need to pay a visit to the Hufflepuff common room. As House Mod, I think it would be only fair to ask why the Huffies are not working hard this term. I know you are working hard, right Mr. Denton?"

Caleum chuckled at Dominic. "Ahh! You run away from the females too?" He couldn't help but ask that question as Caleum was always one who gave his attention to school subjects, reading...doing anything to get him through his courses as fast as possible so that he could finish school and training early.
