In a quieter bit of London there is a sole fire engine red phone booth. On the door of the booth lies a sign that says out of order. The Muggles who live in the area cannot remember a time when the phone actually worked, so they just ignore it now. But for those who are visiting the Ministry of Magic know what it is there for. If you step into the booth and dial 64224 (magic) you will be allowed to enter the ministry.

On the sidewalk outside the booth there are a few benches that have trees on either side of them, creating a shaded area for a bright sunny day. Not far from those benches you can see a restaurant. Along the sidewalk, you can tell that someone has taken the time to plant flowers to liven up the normally quiet area.

For the most part, the majority of people on the sidewalk, and sitting on the various benches are wizards just waiting for someone before entering the ministry, or waiting to make sure that no one is watching them before they enter the ministry. But there will be an occasional Muggle seen walking down the street.


OOC: All Ministry of Magic employees, regardless of their assigned department, are welcome to create their own roleplay in this thread. This location is found in Muggle London, so remember to have your magical character act accordingly.

Ethan had the feeling to visit London. The first thing on his list was to send Milo an owl, asking him to meet him on the streets of London. Second, he had to get to the streets of London to meet up with his very best friend.

The streets came into view as he was lifted in a sort of way that muggles would not pay attention nor see something so very strange going on in the phone booth. Once it came to a stop, he opened the door and stepped out, straightening his muggle attire and winking at the beautiful ladies as they passed by him.

Milo was confused. Was he allowed to apparate? It was muggle London after all. Oh well. He appeared in the street with a pop. He looked to either side of him. Yeah noone had seen him. Thankfully. He pushed his glasses up his nose. He peered down the street. Now where was that Cy? Calling him from his shop, something to do with celebrating.

He had gone for his usual attire. Good job he was a muggleborn. He knew how to dress.

"There you are, Mate," Ethan spoke as he placed a hand on Milo's shoulder, smiled and leaned in to whisper. "It's a good thing that a muggle didn't catch you apparating.

"Come on," he grinned, loving the fact that Milo was just as cool as he'd always been in school. "I feel the need to celebrate. I want to celebrate being single with the free time to mingle."

Milo chuckled, "I have yet to be caught in many things. No muggle is going to catch me apparating. I had a back up incase they did anyway." He smirked. Something along the lines of blinking, or gum. Something a muggle would believe.

"You are celebrating being single?" he laughed, "Where do you want to hit first? I haven't really hit the scene in a while. Not really got out much." Well not clubbing anyway. He did randomly find himself in the bin of a club a couple of years back, but that wasn't out really.

Ethan's lips curled into a smirky grin. "Well, your luck has changed, Milo. We are going out on the town, find some action, do a little dancing and live life to our single, yet fullest advantage." They were going to party like rock stars, live like movie stars, just have fun all the way around.

"Come my little friend. Let's embark on a plan over some food." He pointed to the restaurant across the street with a nod of his head. "What'd ya say?"

"So we are going to pick up some girls then?" Milo chuckled, "I'll need to go to a cash machine at some point. I don't have alot of muggle money in my wallet."

Mmmm dinner, "I do have enough for food though." He nodded at the idea of a restaurant. A shocked look grazed his features, "Little friend? I am not little. I am average height."

"Well, then food it is," Ethan chimed in with his cheerful voice. "I'm rather fond of the food over there so we can eat and then...we are going to celebrate. I'm in the mood for some dancing, mate." Lots of females would be around and that was just right up his alley.

"I am still not small though. You are just gargantuous," Milo laughed, giving his best mate a light shove. "I can get with some dancing. Just not too much though. I wouldn't want you to embarrass me too much." He pushed his glasses up his nose. He thought glasses would be more appropriate today. He only had to take them off at the end of the night.

"So this restaurant, what does it serve?" he asked. He had to know.

John had been working in the new offices for the most part of the day so far and he felt that everyone ended up shouting over to other areas of the office which had now given him a headache. Wanting to get away from all magic just for those few minutes of peace John got in the phone booth and traveled up to the streets of London. Looking around he noticed there were several people spread throughout the street but none of them had been looking in his direction

Stepping out of the phone booth he continued to look around until he found exactly what he was looking for, a small bench lay accross the street with nobody around it so swiftly crossing the street John took a seat, lay his head back and began to whistle.

Pippa found herself leaving work this way, instead of apparating like usual. She had her heels on still, but she she left the phonebooth and leant against a wall, before pulling her heels off, and sliding on some flats. There, feet had no complaints to make. No aching to do.

OH WAIT. They were aching more than anything now, how ruddy fantastic. How ruddy marvelous. She looked around and plonked herself down onto a bench opposite, letting out a sigh of relief. Just for rest.

'can you dance like a hippogryff' John began humming when suddenly a large sigh came from the spot beside him so lifting his head up to see who the mystery person was, upon looking at the Lady that now sat beside him his jaw dropped but he quickly regained his composure and slowly snuck a peek (or 2) at her.

This was nice, the area was nice, also. It wasn't rubbish filled, it was a nice sidewalk. Perfect to just sit and let your feet rest. Absolutely perfect. And she was al-

Okay, so maybe she wasn't. Taking a glance to the side of her, she smiled softly at the man, and gave him a little nod. If he was going to attempt to flirt with her, and was as bad as Dan The Cheeseball, then he had another thing coming.

Her four year old nephew. "Nice day, right?"

'Darn' John cursed to himself 'She caught me'. Realizing he had nothing else to do but face her to talk to her, John tried to keep his feelings in check as he faced her. "Yea im glad i came out here now John started looking up at the blue sky's, "Your, I..i.i mean its pretty hot". 'oh my god did i actually just say that' he shouted inside his head hoping that she didn't think he was crazy and walk away.

Pippa laughed to herself and made a mental note, to just nod along. He was a such a sweetheart, not doubt she thought him cute. But she certainly wasn't ten. And there was certainly no way she couldn't giggle at the 'glad i came out here now' comment.

"Oh? And why would that be?" The day wasn't that wonderful. It was May, nearing June, but still. It was the time of day where everything started to dim down, the sun. Oh, sunset. Rory liked sunsets. As had her sister.

But almost as she had asked that, he had answered and she nodded. "Mmmhmm. You could pass it off as mild, not hot. It's too late to be hot."

John wasn't exactly the best person at talking to girls and this girl wasnt making it any easier...John thought had a thing for her but then again he didn't see any point in going after her...but then again nothing he did ever seemed to have a point. "Its still warmer than its been for the last few days" he said matter of factly.

Not believing that they were talking about the weather John thought it was for the best if he changed the subject, "So what do you work as? Infact let me take a guess...Model?" He said trying to get to know her better.

Pippa nodded as she pointed out it was infact warmer than it had been for the last few days. "I wouldn't know, I don't take notice of the weather when I'm not having to pick out clothes for a four year olds days at nursery." Yeah, picking out clothes for one of those days, always meant you had to know the weather, and what clothes would work in it.

A MODEL? Pippa almost snorted, but held it back; it was un-ladylike. And then laughed loudly, before pushing her blonde hair behind her ear to turn and face him. "A model? No, I work in a... a big place. With alot of people. Infact, i'm over a small group of people, international business." That was okay, right? Didn't give anything away about her work, just incase he was a muggle.

John was starting to get very interested in this girl but he wasnt sure if she was a muggle or if she was magical so he decided to say something that would help him out a little. "Muggle" was all he said, it would be easy enough to find out if she was magical from just that sentence because a muggle would think you are crazy, but then again she probably already thought that he was crazy.

The one word he said caused Pippa to look every inch in every direction. "Where? I didn't say anything... Erm... Ohhhh... You're not a..? Right?" Now, she just looked like a right idiot. But then again, muggles didnn't KNOW the word muggle. So it was okay, wasn't it? He had to be of magical ability. Or something like that.

"Eh."

John hadnt had fun in a while and he decided that he could keep the charade of being a muggle going for just a little while longer. "Not a what?" he said making himself looking confused "I was only copying what i heard someone say when i walked along here, What is a muggle anyway". He knew it was partially cruel but he wanted to see how she would react to finding out he wasnt magical.

Oh crap.

Pippa clicked her tongue and shrugged, attempting to act dumb as to what he was asking. "Not a... not a fisherman." Yeah, that was plausible. "Fishermen, I've... Er... Heard them calling a type of fish 'Muggle', so you were calling me a fish right?" Yeah, and now was her cue to leave.

"It's been lovely talking to you, but I must get... er.. going."

Josh felt reaalllly bad for being mean, she was obviously struggling for a story to come up with so before she left he decided to be kind from now on. "Sorry, i am not a muggle" he said looking down guiltily "Please dont go, i know i shouldnt have lied but you are a good person to talk to. John knew he had lost his chance with this girl but then again sometimes you can get a nice surprise.

Pippa grabbed her bag back over her shoulder again and got up from the bench, ready to leave. Yeah, Diagon Alley it was, to rest. There atleast she KNEW she wouldn't end up slipping up a little bit. Some witch she was.

But there he was, still going on. "Not a muggle? Oh... I really should be going. I need to go to a special shopping place. For my own kind, women I mean." You never knew, he could be toying about with her. And she was NOT slipoing up again.

"I'm Pippa by the way."

John knew she didnt beleive him but he didnt really care all he was caring about was the fact that he now knew her name which means he now is now getting some trust from her. "Hello Pippa" He started as he extended his arm out "Im John".

Hmm im going to lose her, how can i go along with her.

"Mind if i tag along to Diagon Alley" He said realising that he needed some decent ice cream and that was the only place that you could get it.

She ignored the outstretched arm, and tucked hers into the pockets of her cardigan. "Nice to meet you ... John." She nodded and gave him a little smile, before sighing and swapping back to her heels again.

"Always thought flats were comfortabler, but they annoy me now." She chuckled softly, and looked completely taken back when he mentioned Diagon Alley. "Sure... You ready to go now?"
