The Graveyard is proud to announce one of our most exciting contests ever! It's a scavenger hunt especially for Halloween, but this one has a bit of a twist. There are 15 Death Eaters hidden somewhere throughout the fan club, but that isn't the only thing that's hidden. You see, their favorite Halloween candies are hidden here, as well, and there's more! You will find 15 riddles listed below which will get you started on your quest, but you have to find all the graphics and then let us know who matches up with what candy! We will give you until midnight EST October 31 to get this done, and you may feel free to post your answers here in this forum, as your answers will not be seen by anyone (note: If you are a mod and your answer does appear, then simply use the "Unapprove Post" option to make your post invisible.)

Halloween is a big month for the Death Eaters, so we have a big prize for this month! Linda (Slytherin Fox) is going to personally knit and mail this Death Eater scarf to you as your reward!



In the case of a tie, there will be a random drawing to determine the winner, but there will be graphic awards, as well. So enter! What have you got to lose?

Good luck to all of you, and I suggest you begin your quest! Feel free to list your answers in this thread, they won't be seen by anyone else. Be sure to list each graphic and where you found it (thread and post number will do), and which candy matches with which Death Eater.

Example -

1. Harold Brown (Rigor Mortis Thread, post 62) - favorite candy Coal (Mummy thread, post 101).
2. Joe the Smoe (Toejam Thread, post 59) - favorite candy Pistachio (Nut thread, post 7).

You get the idea! There should be 15 of this kind of thing, as there are 15 Death Eaters and 15 candies. We will give you till the end of the month, as it may take a while.

And here are the riddles to get you started!

1. Even though he teaches Potions, not Astronomy, he still prefers this cand named after a celestial body.

2. Alecto loves sweets, not vegetables, though her candy of choice sounds like it should be on the dinner plate.

3. Amycus keeps dropping his candy, this this one is most appropriate for him.

4. Like Narcissa, this candy is most feminine and that's why she loves it so.

5. As young Tom Riddle, he remembers bobbing for these. Be careful if you accept one from him, for it may be poisoned!

6. Regulus likes these sprinkled with colored candies, perhaps their sweetness helped him turn to the side of the good.

7. This has a dark coating, which Bellatrix loves. Remember, she craves the darkness most of all.

8. There is nothing pleasant about Wormtail nor would I expect him to raise cattle, yet he enjoys this candy the most.

9. Draco likes these because they're small and brightly colored. He can leave them as a calling card because there's even an "M" on them, and he loves to throw them at the Trio!

10. Igor Karkaroff has a taste for this candy, we don't know why. Perhaps he has a secret love for felines.

11. I have a hunch as to what candy Greyback likes to treat like his lunch.

12. Barty is always twaveling about winning our twust.

13. Lucius loves to collect coins. He has galleons, sickles and knuts in his left pocket, and keeps the sweeter kind (these) in his right pocket.

14. Rodolphus stuck together with his wife and brother through thick and thin, especially when they crucioed Neville Longbottom's parents.

15. Walden Macnair says there is never a wrong way to cut or eat one of these.

These are graphics which have been specifically hidden within the Graveyard, so we are looking for those specific pictures. Hope that answers your question!
