"I might just have to do that" she said her hands going to the zipper on her jeans when suddenly Cole fell against her "ooomf" she grunted as she put her arms around him to steady him. "Yeah I think we both are" she said smiling and staring at him. Then without realizing it she leaned forward and kissed him on the lips and brought her arms around his neck. She didn't know why she was doing it but she didn't exactly have control over her emotions right now. |

Cole had no intention of making a move on Aria, but she was kissing him and she was so warm and inviting... he was kissing her back without a second thought. She was small, and he picked her up and pushed her towards the bed. If he'd had any clarity of thought, he would have left right then, but instead he rolled with Aria onto the bed, holding her close to him.

Aria let herself be moved to the bed and then something clicked. She was kissing Cole. She was enjoying it. She reached up and pulled him closer to her and reaching to play with his hair. She could feel her eyes getting heavier and then her hand dropped from his hair to beside her on the bed and her face turned away from him. She had passed out and was sleeping.

Cole yawned and nuzzled against Aria, spooning her body with his own and wrapping an arm around her waist before he slipped into sleep himself. He slept heavily and awoke late the next morning with a pounding headache and the vague sense that something wasn't right. There was someone warm and soft under his hands, and he pulled Wei closer to him and murmured indesciperable words of love to her. Her head was right beneath his nose, and he breathed in her scent deeply, only becoming aware in that moment that the thing that was wrong was that this woman wasn't his Wei. Cole's eyes flew open and he took in a sharp intake of breath. "Ria?"

At the mention of her name Ria woke up and stretched. She turned over to try to get comfortable again and was face to face with Cole. She jumped up real fast. Then quickly decided that was a very bad idea as she grabbed her head and cringed as the pounding began. "What happ..did we...do you know...??" Aria started sentences, not being able to finish them. Her and Cole didn't...did they? No they couldn't have. Gah thinking hurt to much. She rubbed her temples and closed her eyes. | |

Cole scooted back on the bed until his back was against the wall. "I don't know... did we? I..." He glanced at how they were half dressed. It didn't tell him what had happened either way, but the last thing he remembered was drinking in Hogsmeade. "We were commiserating over firewhiskey in Hogsmeade. That's all I remember. Oh... Ria... what happened here? What will I tell Wei?"

Aria hold up a hand for him to calm down so she could think..or at least attempt to. "By the feel of this headache I gathered the drunkiness. I really don't think anything happened. Well aside from me kissing you." she said as she brought her fingers to her lips. "I think we just passed out on the bed." she said pointing to it. "Why would you have to tell Wei anything? Nothing happened and she did leave you Cole. You keep telling me to move on from Geoffrey. Maybe you should do the same thing." she said quietly as if trying to convince herself as well. She looked up at him. "Can we please let this not screw up anything. I know nothing happened but I kissed you and I really would rather just forget about it. I was drunk and it won't happen again. I don't want to lose you over something that didn't happen while we were drunk." she said almost pleadingly.

Cole looked at her doubtfully. She could say she thought nothing had happened, but that didn't mean she KNEW nothing had happened. He rubbed his forehead. "I think you should go, Cassaria. Or I'll go. Either way... I need some time to figure out what's going on." He covered his face with his hands and hoped she'd go.

Aria just looked at Cole. He didn't believe her. She nodded and wiped away tears that threatened to fall. "Fine I'll go but if this changes anything...." she couldn't even finish that sentence. She walked to the door and looked back once and then left feeling alot more sober. | |
