Bebe's eyes were growing heavy and her body heavier. She really had to stop drinking. Right then. Her glass was full. Really this was the last one, she told herself. "Don't mind if I do" BeBe reached over and took a few peanuts, popping them out of their shell one by one. "I haven't drank this much since I was a teenager..."

Mark grinned, leaning forward. 'Teenager eh. Bet you were an interesting one,' he surveyed her, taking another drink. She was quite good looking really, when you looked. He smiled absently, filling his glass again. Although she did remind him of someone. He couldn't place it. He stopped, his glass held at his lips, half closing his eyes and tilting his head. No, he thought. It just wouldn't come to him. He smiled again, drinking down his drink and eating some of the peanuts, his mind wandering to the house elves marvelous cooking. He'd just eaten it was true, but now that he had the peanuts, he felt liek something savoury.

"Interesting is a word for it," BeBe agreed, her head bobbling a bit. "Look.. I'm going to have to call it a night. That is if I can even stand. I appreciate the drinks, Mr. Soloway." BeBe blinked a few times before rising to her feet. "Whoa..,"she said, much worse off than she realized. She highly doubted she could even apparate she was so inebriated. Miraculously though, she made it out of the booth and to Mark's side. "Thanks again. This was nice." She leaned in his direction.. her attempt at a bow, before scoping out the door. It seemed so far away..

That girl.....why did she disappear? Did it have anything to do with current events?

Warrick heard a voice, a female voice. It was Aria, again, intruding on his thoughts.

"Nothing really, just wondering how much of what Enora told us will affect us. I don't know why, But I don't think she was telling us everything....." His voice trailed off. It had to be more important for her to bring it up in a staff meeting, and calling them back early.

He stood as best he could, which while it wasn't great, was better than she managed. Dropping several coins on the table, he put the bottle in a pocket before stepping up to the woman. 'I insist in walking with you back to the castle,' she said, putting and arm around her to steady her wobble. As they moved off, he indicated to teh waitress the money, pointing to the table where Aria sat also. The girl nodded understanding. With a wave to Aria, he moved off with Bebe, leaving the pub.

Ana shrugged and swirled the liquid in her bottle. "I like children," she repeated, then added, "And I love my sister. She's the baby in the family, and I want to help her. Her husband is an Auror and isn't home very often."

Cole tapped her on the knee, getting her attention back on him. "It would be a lot more suspicious if you suddenly cut off contact with them. Besides, we want to cultivate a positive relationship with the MUggles. Tell the Ministry that, and they'll let you keep in contact with them."

BeBe stumbled, and giggled, and actually let Mark help her. Though.. they were helping each truth be known. "I'm going to regret this in the morning," she mumbled letting her head fall on his shoulder. "And then I'll stay hid up in my office for weeks. Avoiding you for the rest of my life...," she slurred, giggling and walking slowly up the pathway towards Hogwarts.

'Now why,' he paused concentrating on the road, 'would you do a horrid thing like that? We haven't even done anything to warrent avaoiding me.' He grinned, tiping slightly before righting himself. 'Besides Bebe,' he continued as they made it on some more. 'You're nice,' he nodded. 'I'd hate not to see you for the rest of your life.' He smiled, waving his head as an old tune suddenly invaded it.

She looked around, her yes taking a moment to focus on his face. She should have eaten more than chocolate, she thought. 'I should have eaten more than chocolate, she repeated out loud, before shaking her head. 'Um,' she thought. 'I never thought I'd see the day when you encouraged my muggle obsession.' She looked at him, an eyebrow raised. 'Still, it doesn't matter. They could just use my muggle name somehow.' She shrugged. Somehow she just knew that they would do it. They had tried to stop her before. She'd never told him, knowing he'd just use it to try and convince her to stop.

Aria glanced back at Mark and tried to keep her focus off of him. She waved goodbye to him as he left wobbling out the door. "I don't know if she was or not. I've spent time around muggles and even..." she stopped herself before she could mention that fact that she had been married to one as well. She raised her eyebrows at him. "Where do you keep drifting off to, you keep getting this far off look in your eyes?" she questioned him. Mark would be paying attention to her but he left with Bebe. She shrugged her shoulders and took some more spoonfulls of the soup.

Cole plucked the bottle from Wei's hands and put it on the far side of his body. "I don't know what you mean, but it isn't like you to give up so easily. We'll figure something out... you'll figure something out. How about we go inside and get you some food and water before you pass out?"

"Because that's what I do. I hide in my office by myself. You should come by sometime...except then I wouldn't be alone..," Bebe cracked up again, closing her eyes. "This isn't me." BeBe nodded, the motion of her hear threw off her balance and she stumbled a bit, grabbing for Mark.

She nodded, smiling though it never reached her eyes. Joan had just been starting to make headway, and her excitement was contagious. Wei just didn't know how she'd be able to cut herself out of it. Standing up, she dusted off her skirt, and picked up her bag and shoes. 'I never told you,' she started as they walked up the lawn. Swallowing she continued. 'They've tried before. The Ministry I mean.' She looked away. 'About six months after I took the job here, again three years or so ago. And halfway through last year. Just before I-' She stopped. 'How can I stop them now that they have a real excuse?' she looked around at him again. 'I barely managed to fight it the other times.' She shrugged. 'Maybe the ministry could be convinced to begin their own studies.' She fell silent, walking along, just glad of his company.

He managed to catch her but stumbled himself. Still, his arm was around her back and managed to cushion the fall. He looked down at her, before rolling to one side, taking a steadying breath. He laughed suddenly, kicking at some pebbles with his feet. 'That sounded like an invitation to me,' he said, propping up onto one elbow. 'And I might just do that,' he grinned, 'come and find you in your safe haven.'

"Just thinking about my travels," He answered as he watched Mark and BeBe leave. He grabbed his butterbeer, which had gone warm from sitting so long, untouched, and took a drink. He wrinkled his nose, called the waitress over and ordered another.

"Why don't you tell me more of your summer, Aria?" He asked, still not sure what she wanted. She had to have called him over for some reason, he just hadn't figured it out yet.

"What..?" BeBe asked, already forgot what she had even said. "Oh.. well that would be a first." She sighed and stared upward, laying in the road. This wasn't how she acted.. ever. THis wasn't how any mature adult acted. And here she was.. laying in the pathway, in the dirt, in the arms of a notoriously sly man, drunk. Really drunk. "Mark.. what are we doing?"

'We,' began Mark, 'are going back to the castle. Then, You're going to bed I imagine,' he grinned, 'and I am going to the wonderful house elves for more food.' He looked down at her again smiling. 'Now though, we are lying in the road.' He pushed himself up, dusting himself slightly before bending to help Bebe up. Once she was righted, he continued. 'And you invited me to visit you sometime in your little hide out. That about covers it I think.'

"From the look on your face they were good travels." she said smiling. "I didn't do much over the Summer. Worked out a bit, did a lot of running and took care of Dad. Hung out with friends a bit but mainly enjoyed playing quidditch and things like that. Do you think we should head back? Everyone else seems to be leaving it seems like." she asked him looking around the Cafe.

Warrick looked around, yeah, it was emptying out, but that didn't usually bother him. The waitress brought him his butterbeer and he downed it in one drink.

"I don't really care," he admitted. "But, if you're more comfortable following everyone else back up to the castle...." His voice trailed off, he stood up, left some money on the table, including a tip, and offered his hand to the little woman.

"It doesn't really matter to me. I don't mind staying if you would rather stay." she said and reached and grabbed his hand that he was offering. "It's up to you. Or I can just leave since you seem distracted anyway." She said turning to go for the door if that was what he wanted.

Bebe nodded and thanked him for his help. She hadn't said this many words to a male... in years. Bebe had promised herself to be more social this year, but this wasn't what she had in mind. At all. She should have stayed with Wei, or just left when she did. "Mark.. if I can call you that.. you don't know me, why are you being so nice?" BeBe nearly fell again, busting out into giggles at herself. The gates were in sight now as they trudged on.

Warrick shrugged and started to the door, "I could always start cleaning the castle so the brats can see how good it can look. It won't look the same while they're here. Even with magic I can hardly keep up."

Warrick slipped his arm around Aria's as they stepped onto the street. There were a few people out and about, as is only natural, but these weren't just ordinary shoppers. Looked like everyone was getting ready for the students to arrive.

"How about you? Do the students tear apart your grounds the way they do my castle?"

He steadied her, and thought about her question. 'Well,' he gestured into the air, moving on towards the gates. 'First, I never leave a lady in need of help.' He nodded. 'Besides,' he stopped, smiling down at her. 'You're cute.' He brushed her cheek, and pushed some hair back before giving her a squeeze and moving on again.

Aria leaned in as he put his arm around her. "Yeah they do, but it's mainly around the lake because that's where they all go to do their homework or gossip about the hot guys on staff. Man the things I've overheard is hilarious." she said with a laugh. "Though I am constantly having to regrow flowers cause girls come up and put them all in their hair and the guys pick them for girls. Its sweet and all but still." she said with a chuckle as they started out walking towards the castle. "Man I can't believe only one more week and the castle will be infested with kids again."

Warrick wasn't expecting her to lean in when she did. He could smell her hair, which smelled as one who normally worked outside did, like the sun, flowers, dirt, but he didn't mind. He prefered out of doors scents anyway.

He smiled, infested, looks like she wasn't exactly impressed with the students' behaviors either.

"You could put an age line around your flowers. Make it so whoever crosses must be your age. Then could have a designated area where they could pick flowers, or could sell them for more supplies for next years grounds................What have you heard around the lake?" He asked, raising an eyebrow and wondering if she merely overheard, or was in the habit of eavesdropping on students.
