"Too right!" Brennan gave her a pinch before lapsing into silence. "We need to figure out what our plan is and what the ultimate goal is. Branxton isn't easily influenced, but he does seem to be victim to a pretty face. We have to figure out what we want so we know what Kailee can ask for."

Clara stuck her head full of blonde curls out of her compartment. "Overly elated kiss, says you?" She'd already written it down, of course. Her glasses were a deep shade of red as she stepped out into the corridor again. She offered a hand to Nora, " I didn't get to congratulate you properly."

Nora watched Doyle depart before she turned back to eye Clara. She ignored the hand offered as if it didn't exist, choosing instead to cross her arms across her chest. "I saw you with Doyle earlier, and I know what you're trying to do. He doesn't like girls like you. You can do whatever you want, but he won't fall for your tricks."

Clara's smile went wide. Dangerously wide. Her quill went to her mouth as she ran the words through her head a few times. You can do whatever you want, Clara thought. That, she would. "Girls like me? I don't think I am catching your insinuation, my dear. Would you like to elaborate on that statement a little?" Quill was at the ready.

Nora looked up and down the corridor, her posture relaxing. "I have work to do, Miss Belle. I suggest you go get your school robes on and prepare for the train to arrive. I'd appreciate it if you could let people know we're getting closer to Hogwarts."

"I'd appreciate you embellishing on the aforementioned comment," Clara sounded back. No Hufflepuff was going to talk to her that way, Head Girl Badge or no.

"I don't answer to you," Nora's tone was that of an adult talking to a very simple toddler. "Now why don't you take your quill and parchment and go off somewhere else. I'm patrolling the train." She threw her strawberry blonde curls over her shoulder and turned away from Clara.

"New Head Girl has porcupine lodged in rear area. Very irritant and irrational. May be infectious, so stay clear peers. " Clara spoke the words as she wrote them down. "As far as I can tell, your Head Girlness, you are not patrolling the train but instead loitering and insulting the very people you were put in charge of." Clara tapped her glasses with her quill and cocked her head at Nora. What a piece of art she was.

"Five points from Slytherin, and I suggest you not question my leadership style. I didn't take you for one of those who would be rabidly jealous of those in power. Poor darling Doyle... do you like him at all, or are you just trying to get back at him for being successful? I mean... you could have friends and even get a boyfriend if you simply tried a little." She gave Clara a pitying look.

"Merlin!" Clara gasped. "Do you have me pegged or what!?!" Clara put a hand to her forehead. "I'm so green with envy I can hardly see straight. I dream of being in a place of utmost power like you, Nora. I dream of being able to cling to the side of Doyle Branxton in the hardest of jobs known to adolescent wizards and witches alike! Oh, won't you take me under your wing and let me be your assistant? Oh, please Nora, have mercy on my poor soul!" Clara's straightened up after her dramatic show and tried very, very hard not to laugh.

Nora patted Clara on the head. "I'm sorry, my dear, but I'm much too busy to help an impossible cause. I shall attempt to throw a few tidbits of assistance to you throughout the year," she offered, considering that to be quite a good deal. "But leave dear Doyle alone. He's suffered enough, and he doesn't need to be saddled with someone who doesn't truly care for him." Nora tilted her head to the side and patted Clara's head again. "I think it's your hair, dear."

Oh well. Too late now, I suppose." Clara laughed off-handedly and removed the girl's hand from her hair. "Let's keep our hands to ourself, Ms. Leiden. I'd hate for those hands to be tainted with my lost cause dirt."

"I'm sorry." Joana said as she looked at him. "I don't have much friends. In fact I don't have any friends at all I just moved here." Joana confessed as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

"What house are you in?" She said as she made quotation marks with her fingers to show emphasis. "I was sorted to before I got onto the train and made it into Ravenclow...or is it Raisnclaw. I don't remember, I don't even know what that means." Joana said as she shurgged.

Doyle walked down the aisle and peeked into compartments as he went, giving some warnings to those who were not yet ready with their uniforms and waking others so they wouldn't miss disembarking. He came to one compartment and opened it to find Cooper and his gang. He blushed slightly when he saw Sommers and took off his glasses to clean them. "We'll be arriving soon so, you may want to don your school clothes," he told the compartment.

Word got round the train that they were to be arriving at Hogsmeade Station soon. "Well I must go get ready and such. Speak to you soon? bye!" Crystal said blowing him a kiss and then heading to the compartment Coop and company were in. She had left her bags in here from the beginning of the train ride. She removed her school robes and put them on, fixing her pigtails after she had done so. "Anything interesting happen whilst I was gone?" she asked those in the compartment.

"Yeah, Branxton, thanks," Brennan slid Kailee of his lap in a hurry, nearly falling out of his seat to stand up in front of Doyle. "You know, once you finish your rounds, you should come back and sit with us. We were just discussing the class schedule, and it would be good to hear your insight on an appropriate NEWT study schedule."

Nora made an outraged noise, jerked her hand away from Clara, and headed off in search of Doyle. She had a word for him if this 2-knut hussy was going to be getting in the way of their work.

"Oh... I'm not sure if I'll have time but, I will certainly keep it in mind," he said, suspicious of Cooper's invitation. He involuntarily glanced behind him at a slightly rumpled Sommers. "I'll see you all up at the school, if not before," he said before exitting.

"Sure thing Doyle," Ash replied although he was already in his robes. He carefully tucked his transfiguration text back in his bag. He and Coop would be among the top NEWT students, he had it planned. "I'd like to get started on our study group when you have time, now that we mention it," he added and tried to divert some attention from Coop's near fall from the chair.

When Doyle was out of hearing, "I think we slipped there," he said to Brennan.

Emil-Owich neared his compartment. Just before he had hoped that noone was in it. But in the short walk, he had acctually changed his mind. Right now he wanted company. What had happened over summer, since he felt like this?!

You've got the chops, and I've got the smarts. Okay, Ash has the smarts and I've got the wiles. And Clark has the brazen good looks."

Clara was slightly peeved as Nora stalked off. So, when peeved - go peeve others. "And what do I have, Coop?" she asked, making her self back at home into the Coop and Co. Compartment. Crystal had already made it back, she noted. Good. "Say Coop? The whole package?"

Brennan looked up as first Zitzburg and then Belle entered their compartment. "Ah... Zitzburg has the ability to annoy someone to the point of unconsciousness. And Belle... you have all the subtlety of a rampaging hippogryff." He grinned at them both and distanced himself from Kailee.
