She sighed and turned to the rest of the newcomers. "Are the rest of you alright?" she asked in her sweet, musical voice, "Does anyone need help? If not just follow me, we have to go home now." she scanned the people but everyone seemed alright. She walked over to the youngest girl who still looked rather shaken, "Are you okay?" she asked kindly. Nerina still did not know what had happened and just assumed Ariel had been scared to see the trolls. "Don't worry about the trolls!" she said, placing her hand on Ariel's shoulder reassuringly, "Come with me, we'll get you cleaned up and have some food..." She glanced around and pushed back her lovely, sandy hair, "Just stay with me you'll be okay!" Murough heard Fay offer to help Rose and he admired her for it. Even thought Fay still looked shaky she was still thinking of others! He should have asked Rose if she needed help! He cursed himself. Perhaps, he should turn around and offer now. But now Fay had said they were coming, and he could not help his insides twisting up oddly. He desperately wanted to turn around and smile at her, but he still couldn't tell if she was angry or not.
Instead he nodded brusquely, and began to lead the trek back toward the village, trying to tame the beast that had suddenly arose in him. This beast had overtaken his mind so all he saw reminded him of Fay. He felt her eyes at his back and clenched his fist in an effort to keep his eyes ahead, scanning for threats. He was concentrating so hard or trying to drive rather distracting images of Fay from his mind, he almost jumped when Ionn came up to talk to him. At Ionn's words he composed his face into a look of puzzled surprise, "Who?" he asked, with every air of confusion. Though inside, he was panicking. Oh no! Ionn knows! He knows! What do I do? What do I do? he thought, Deny it! Yes! Deny it! Then she'll never know and she won't be able to hurt me! Plus. It's not true. I know it's not...right? "I have no idea what you're talking about!" he continued, shaking his head at his friend, his sea gray eyes wide in amazement. He fought himself not to glance at Fay. What if she had heard? What if she knew? But she couldn't. Could she? Ionn heard Nerina as she kindly spoke to the others and smiled to himself, she was always thoughtful and caring. He saw how she treated the children in the village and was always warmed by her patience with them. He turned back to Murough and smirked, "O come on Mur," he said in a low voice,"It's written all over your face and I think she's noticing too." Ionn continued despite the fact his friend was denying everything. An idea burst into Ionn's head,"You better talk to her soon, or else," he said pausing dramatically, "I'll write a poem about you two and sing it at the village square." he threatened him a smirk plastered on his face.

June Naruja Magical Creatures | Unicorn Magic Rawr-er Fay nodded at Rose, deciding that the girl would have to keep up or be devoured by beasts. She looked at Murrough and watched him watching the forest. At once Fay noticed that was what she should be doing, not studying Murrough like the girls sometimes looked at him. Anger filled her eyes, thinking of each girl that had giggled and batted their eyelashes at her warrior friend. Anger was not an unusual thing to see in Fay, and she hoped that no one knew the reason for her anger. She sighed and began to look around.
Her sharp eyes took in every minute detail of the forest. The trees swaying a silent lullaby, the approaching moon far off but sightable, round and plump, the little mice scurrying by, cheeks filled with nuts and berries. Nothing potentially hazardous, she knew. Fay walked over to Nerinnea and nodded her head in a greeting. The air was a tad cold, but she controlled herself from shivering as harsh wind blew against her bare shoulders. Fay wondered what Tornac would say when she turned up at his shop to ask for another sword. Would she have to wait for a holiday to recieve a new one? The girl had many daggers, spears, and cross bows but she believed truly nothing beat a long, lethal blade. With a sigh, she decided that she would settle for a spear until she managed to obtain a new sword. "Interesting people," Fay whispered to Nerinnea. Her arms were at her sides, one feeling the dagger that she hid in her dress. The dagger was bound in a leather sheath and fit nicely around her leg, where she could easily grab it when need be. Fay's head turned when she heart a crackle of a leaf but it was merely wild game.
Fay Rose the third, turned her attention slowly back and forth between Murrough's little sister and Murrough. Her face was hardened in her usual warrior manner and did not portray any emotions that were bubbling beneath the surface. She wondered faintly what the two were talking about. She noticed Murrough looked no different other than the fact that Fay had now seen him in a completly different light, and there was a jacose manner in the way Ionn's eyes twinkled. Perhaps they were talking about Ionn's rights to begin courtship with Murrough's sister. It was of the Manner to ask, but she wondered what would happen if she said yes to any of the suitors who asked Fay. Fay nodded slowly as she remembered any suitor that she agreed to would have a long talk with her uncle or the old woman who raised her sisters. The topic was beginning to scare Fay. Why do I care?! Why am I even thinking about this! Of course! I'll say no to everyone, I'm independent! I don't need any boy to tell me I'm pretty! she thought to herself. But what about Mur- a thought battled in her head but she cut it off too quickly for the sentence to be completed.

Emrys began to run towards their destination. Hoping all was well and Rhita Gwar was not near by. Adriel nodded, giving one last glance at the river. She hoped that everything would be okay... What if they weren't what they expected? She was still really nervous especially with all the change that was now happening. As Emrys ran off she followed, changing quickly back into her deer form. Her hooves hit the ground gracefully as she tried to catch up again.

Ian Hoshino Daily Prophet | Ama!Nabs IS NAMED MINHO & Is SO Black Panther Right Now Quincy had felt something stir in the earth this morning. The birds sang louder. The river roared more cheerful than before and the leaves of the trees whispered in happy urgent hisses. He had sprinted in the direction of where Mother Earth urged him to go to. Keeping his ears open to the almost inaudible words of caution, he had run for a very long time. It was in his journey to who knows where that he spotted two familiar deer in the distance. He increased his speed in attempt to catch up. He would never be as fast Emrys but he could try. The man deer galloped in his elegant animal form, maroon in color with a white streak running along it's left side, feeling the earth shake beneath his hooves.

Murough turned to Ionn at his joke, his face a mask of horror until he realised Ionn was joking. Well, he hoped he was joking. "Not if I cut out your tongue first!" he joked with a cheeky grin. Then his shoulders sagged and he somehow looked defeated, "Ionn, " he said wearily, "Please. I don't know, really. And I don't know that I want her to know...." he looked up at his friend, his gray eyes full of worry, "She's my friend! She might hate me forever! Even if she didn't, what if it ended badly? He sighed and ran a hand through his sandy hair, "I don't want her to be just another girl I've had, Ionn." he said quietly, now not even looking at his friend.
He fought his instincts to just look at Fay. He was sure she could see them and he hoped to the gods that she could not hear what they were saying. Nerina turned to smile at Fay as she came over, "They are, indeed!" she agreed happily, straightening up to look the other girl in the eye. But she could see Fay was distracted. In fact, incredibly, Fay seemed to be looking right at Murough! Could it be? The warrior princess in love with Nerina's brother? That would be a match! She almost laughed at the thought! Her brother, so stubborn and straight faced! In love!
But then a thought hit her. Maybe Fay was looking at Ionn! A hot flash of panic engulfed her quickly followed by jealousy and anger. She looked coldly at Fay trying to work out who she was looking at. In the end, Nerina decided to be blunt. "Are you in love with Ionn?" she asked quietly, though her voice was now slightly high pitched in concern.

Everyone's stride was big compared to her own that she had to jog every once in a while just to keep up with their pace. It was very tiring and soon her breath deepened. As she walked she pulled off the web that was still stuck to Chai feather. She checked her pockets for the rest of the bread and cheese, but couldn't find it. It most have falling out of her pocket when the troll had her upside down. Ariel frowned because the rest of it was Tom and now she didn't have it to give him. She also had lost the piece that she had saved for Chai. She looked around making sure that she kept her eyes open. Ariel yawn, hoping that they would get there soon. Her small and slender legs just wouldn't move as fast as everyone else as her pace slowed slightly. Chai hopped around her shoulders free to move around now that she was web free. She hopped around pulling strands of Ariel's hair. Quote: Murough turned to Ionn at his joke, his face a mask of horror until he realised Ionn was joking. Well, he hoped he was joking. Naji walked along side of everyone keeping his eyes and ear open for any movement seeing that everyone else was to busy talking amongst each other. His stride long, but his step soft and quiet with his cat like grace. He ran his fingers through his hair as he shook his head. Naji didn't believe that this was the best time to be talking see that they was still in the forest that was full of creature that wanted to devour them. He shrugged it off. At moments like this he remained quiet. The sun dropped lower below the horizon making the trees darker and more creepy looking. Naji quietly walked up behind Ionn and Murough. "Shouldn't we have reached the gate already? Or have you guys been concentrating on something else and took a wrong turn." he said only joking. Yes, however surprising he did joke around at times, but rarely. Naji pulled out a gem stone from his pocket and wrapped his fingers around his. As he concentrated he called light in to the opal. When he opened his fist a small glow of light shinned from the stone, producing a small amount of light just enough for them to see their way until the reached the village. |

Nerina was watching Fay carefully and as her face turned pink braced herself to retort back when Fay burst out laughing! Nerina was so surprised, her soft mouth dropped open in shock. But closed it abruptly at Fay's teasing question. "No!" she said, perhaps a little too quickly. Her reply spoiled by the way her face was blushing prettily. She could not help glancing at Ionn, a mistake because it set her very heart pounding harder than the waves upon the shore during a storm.
But she still sighed happily at Fay's assurance that Fay was not in love with Ionn. Or anyone. Though Nerina thought she caught Fay shoot a quick glimpse at Murough. She nodded anyway, plenty of time to see what that might lead to later. "Awkward." she repeated softly, wondering if Fay would be able to help her find out what Ionn thought of her. Beautiful, soft spoken, silver tongued, Ionn. When a wonderful idea hit her making her almost dizzy with the implications of it. Fay and Ionn were friends, right? So... She opened her mouth to speak, when Fay shook her head, sending her braid flying against Nerina's arm. She actually barely noticed it, her face now alight with a fevered desire to ask Fay about everything and anything she knew about Ionn. Clutching the older girl's arm suddenly she looked Fay in the eye. "Fay." she said seriously, her young face set in a stubborn look that was very reminiscent of Murough , "Will you tell me all you know about Ionn?" Quote:

Yes he decided that's what he would do as soon as they were at the village and had made sure the newcomers were safe. He would ask to speak to her and ask her. The thought of speaking to Nerina alone made his stomach erupt into a fit of butterflies. A thought suddenly flew into Ionns mind, a memory more like, he looked back at Fay seeing the look that was on her face for mere moments as she looked at Murough he smiled to himself, "Hey Mur, what would you say if I said that maybe you might have a tiny chance of convincing Fay to court you." he said to his friend in a low whisper so no one would hear. Murough glanced over at Fay and saw Nerina talking to her. He narrowed his eyes at his sister, wondering what one earth they were talking about. Suddenly, Fay burst out laughing loudly but oh so sweetly and Murough suddenly felt a desperate desire to know what Nerina had said. But Ionn's low whisper made him whip back around to his friend. Murough turned to his friend in surprise, "What do you mean?' he whispered back. His heart began beating wildly, his hands clenched in nervous anticipation, an odd fluttery feeling began somewhere above his stomach. A chance to court Fay? Any chance, even a tiny one was welcome! All he wanted was to be near her. To touch that fiery hair, smooth his hands over her pale skin, look into those lavender eyes... His own gray-blue eyes stared piercingly at Ionn as he waited for his reply. Quote:

But now Naji had walked up, his face serious as usual but somehow, even more so. At his question, Murough whirled around, cursing himself for his inattention. This wasn't like him! Not at all. He turned back to the light Naji had made and smiled at his friend. "Sorry old friend, " he said apologetically, shaking his head so Naji would know that he was apologizing for his inattention. He glanced around, a confused look on his handsome face "I can't think how we could have taken a wrong turn..." he began quietly, now talking to both Ionn and Naji. His eyes were alert, his right hand hovered over his sword, "We run these paths all the time..." he shook his head, as he realised he hadn't yet told his friends about the odd slowness Nerina and him had experienced on the beach. Somehow, the sight of Fay hurt had driven it completely from his mind.
"On the beach, " he began urgently, "Nerina and I found we were held back, somehow." he shook his head confusedly, still unsure, "It was like we were in a dream..that's why it took us so long to reach you..." He looked at his friends' solemn faces, "Do you think that maybe that same thing has made us take a path away from home?" he asked, his eyes concerned. He flicked a glance at his sister and Fay, but they seemed safe enough. Both were good enough to defend themselves, but he still kept one eyes on them, just in case, as he waited for his friends' counsel.

Ionn smiled at his friends eagerness,"I mean let me find out more before I give you my final answer," he replied deciding he would talk to Fay later and try to get some information out of her. Ionn looked at Naji and laughed at his friends suggestion that they were lost, "Don't worry my friend we are merrily a few steps away from the village now," he answered him reassuringly. Ionn had traveled through the Druma Woods many a time and knew them like the back of his hand. The trees around them whispered in the dark and murmured secrets amongst themselves. Ionn enjoyed the sound that was as though it were wind rushing through the trees, yet there was not even a breeze. He looked back at Murough, and frowned, "Hmm, I don't know that is rather odd," he said looking back for a split second at Nerina to make sure she was alright his heart raced at the sight of her beautiful face in the moon light tearing his eyes away before Murough could notice once again. He raked his brain for any information on the matter, "I don't know but I'll tell you when we get home and I look at a few scrolls and books of mine," he reassured his friend. "welcome home everyone," Ionn said as they stepped out of the forest and sure enough there it was behind Iron gates lay the small nameless village everyone was heading in for the night husbands were going home to their families and mothers where calling their children in to scrub their faces and hands for dinner. After reassuring the guards at the gate the people with them were friends Ionn made his way into the village "Come we will go to my home," he said to them. He was glad it was dark and the Guards were not able to get a proper look at the humans with them or surely there would have been a great many problems.

Ian Hoshino Daily Prophet | Ama!Nabs IS NAMED MINHO & Is SO Black Panther Right Now Quote: Emrys would have enjoyed the exercise he was getting his muscles flexing as he ran and the welcoming soft grass beneath his hooves the scent of dirt in his nostrels and cool breeze that swept the land every now and then. He turned to See Adriel close behind another figure was emerging from the forest and gaining on them Emrys recognized Quincy coming up behind them, He slowed down and came to halt changing back to his human form to greet the him. Emrys respected Quincy's frequent attempts to perfect his running he and Adriel were probably the most passionate when it cam to running of most of the deer people. Quincy stopped running and slowly changed into his human form, limbs shrinking back to what humans would consider normal. Bowing his head slightly when the transformation was complete he took a step backwards, respectfully.
"I didn't mean to intrude Emrys," he spoke softly as he usually did. "I just couldn't resist the calling of the Earth. Something is amiss."

"Not to worry Quincy," he said with a wave of his hand to show all was well, "I'm glad you are still in touch with Fincayra," Emrys replied, "You are right something is amiss but there is no time to discuss at the moment come with us and we will discuss all when we reach our destination." he said to him and began running again, "we are going to the shore of the speaking shells," he called as he changed back to his Stag form and waited for Adriel and Quincy to do the same.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Athena Evans (A twin) Third | Kora was running through the forest, completely at ease in her doe form, her graceful body easily dodging trees to the point where she almost didn't even have to pay attention to where she was going. Ahead of her, she sensed something, and slowed down to a walk, keeping her distance. She changed back into her human form, she quickly tied her long thick black hair back with a string as she crept through the undergrowth. She finally saw the source of her distress was Emrys, Adriel and Quincy. Not wanting to disturb them or have them feel she was eavesdropping, she slowly backed up, pursing her plump pink lips in concentration, hoping they hadn't spotted her.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Elijah Black Sixth Year | Chair Spinner Emrys ran to where Kora was and ran past her and then came to halt and changed back to his human form, he seemed to find many friends on this trek, "Kora," he said to her with a smile, "why are you hiding?" he asked her looking about to see if there was anything wrong.

He was glad it was dark and the Guards were not able to get a proper look at the humans with them or surely there would have been a great many problems. Murough nodded sagely at Ionn's words trying to keep his raging emotions under control. Of course Ionn would need time to work it out. He trusted his friend implicitly and knew he would do right by him. He smiled at Ionn hopefully, "Okay." he said stiffly, trying to keep his excitement out of his voice. He forced himself not to turn around and look at Fay. He was acutely aware of just how close she was and every fibre of his being wanted to wrap her up in his arms and crush her to him. He ran a hand through his hair, as if trying to brush away his thoughts. He was sure Fay would absolutely die if she knew what he was thinking about her...
Peering around he saw that Ionn was right and they were indeed very close to the village. Damn his wandering mind, befuddled by Fay! He was losing his touch. But he nodded at Ionn, his brow wrinkling slightly, "Come to the house if you find any information about that odd experience," he told Ionn, "If I'm not there, you can tell Neri." As they entered the gates he nodded in a friendly way at the guards. He felt there was no need to be completely taciturn and withdrawn just because you were a warrior!
He followed Ionn back to his house, but hesitated as they reached the threshold of Ionn's home. "Ionn..." he said hesitatingly, "I want to help you with them..." he gestured toward the newcomers, "But I think Neri has been out for long enough, I think I should take her home before I return to you..." he glanced at his sister, his eyebrows knitted together in concern. He was only trying to be kind, he didn't want his only sister to be overtired and it was getting late! But of course, Neri had other ideas... Nerina was hotly aware of Ionn's gaze upon her, but she refused to turn around. She was so afraid of what she might see. A pity, for she would have been very happy if she had looked hard enough. As it was, she felt herself blushing, even as she waited for Fay's reply. How was it that Ionn made her heart pound, her blood crashing in her ears like the sound of the waves upon the shore? How could those eyes make her feel that delicious mix of happiness, hopefulness and anticipation? Why was it Ionn and no one else? And why couldn't she bring herself to look him in the eye and tell him how she felt. She had tried to convince herself many times, but always, she had lost her courage before she actually saw him.
But now, as they arrived at Ionn's house (how many times had she stood at this gate, wanting to enter, but still not being able to?), she overheard her brother's words. What! He wanted to send her home?! Before they had been able to talk to the newcomers? She forgot all about waiting for Fay's answer and whirled around to face her brother angrily. "What do you mean, 'you should take Neri home?" she demanded, poking her finger rather hard into his chest, "I! Am! Not! A Child!" she stated, each word punctuated by a jab of her finger. Her eyes were wild with anger, and now looked to be a dark stormy gray. Her hair seemed to crackle with electricity, every line of her face depicting her anger, yet somehow she was still terribly beautiful Murough turned to his sister in surprise. He hadn't realised how close she had been. As she yelled at him, her rather hard finger jabbing painfully into his chest he gaped in amazement. Surely, she knew he was only trying to be a good brother? "Neri...I...well...I...I know you're not a child..." he said, shooting an embarrassed glance at Ionn for seeing him let his sister boss him around. Also, he was hoping for some sort of support. "If you want to stay you can..." he told Nerina mildly, sweeping her hand away.

Ionn fought the urge to look back at Nerina. He couldn’t help but wonder if they were meant to be as well.
Ionn was about to say something when he saw Nerina step up to her brother and watched her stab away at him. He couldn’t tear his eyes away from her, Oh how thy eyes rage like a storm at sea when thou is angry his eyes shone with admiration for her will to stand up to Murough. Coming to his senses he walked over to Nerina, “Nerina, Murough only though you might need some rest, but if you aren’t tired you are all more then welcome to my home,” he said to her his heart beating as fast as rolling thunder he hoped beyond hope that no one could hear it. As he waited for her answer he fought mentally with him self, trying to control his will to pull Nerina in a tight embrace, they were standing closer then they had been before.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Kacie Mona Gert First Year | Ariel was practically dead on her feet by the time they reached the village. Chai already cuddle up on her shoulders under her hair fast asleep. She guess this day had worn her out to. It was a challenge to keep her eyes open, but she was still hungry. The bread and cheese had seem like ages ago. Ariel stifled a yawn as she waited. Naji put the opal away as they walked into the village, letting the light died out in his bag. He follow them over to Ionn's home and stopped outside. Only half listening to their chattering. Folding his arms he sighed. |

As he waited for her answer he fought mentally with him self, trying to control his will to pull Nerina in a tight embrace, they were standing closer then they had been before. Nerina looked up in surprise at Ionn's comment, in her rage she had almost forgotten there were people around them. She pulled back from Murough, her face still holding traces of anger at her brother. But this anger was tempered by a sudden confusion. She glanced at Ionn and then quickly down again, "I...um...I'm not tired...' she said awkwardly, peering up at Ionn from beneath her long lashes.
Which was actually more difficult than she had thought, as she realised how close he was to her. As it always did when Ionn was near, her heart was beating wildly. But now, it also suddenly seemed hard to breathe. He was so close, so close! If she reached out a hand, she would be able to touch him! Every particle of her being was attuned to where Ionn was. Oh how she longed to be able to leap into those strong arms and press herself against him. She took a short shuddering breath and found he was so close she could smell the sweetness of his breath and that indescribable scent that was only Ionn.
She was dying to raise her head and look squarely into his eyes. But she could not seem to make herself. Instead she half raised her head, and staring blankly at some point at about the height of Ionn's neck she smiled softly. "I'd love to join you at your home.' she said formally, a pretty blush beginning to spread over her delicate features. Murough sighed in relief as Ionn's words seemed to drain the anger abruptly out of Nerina. Well, not all of it. There was stull some anger in her face as she pulled away. And something else too...a confusion? He peered concernedly at his usually super confident sister, who was now acting as if she had no more spine than a jellyfish. He would have studied them further had it not been for Naji's sigh. Turning to his friend, he clapped him comradely on the shoulder, "Not tired are we?' he asked jokingly.

Of course, Fay tried not to blame the girl for being obviously in love, because she too… Well…. Fay looked at Murrough and her breath caught in her throat. She hid her emotions well and gave a small cough to cover up her gasp. It was just he was so… powerful, strong, handsome, such a good warrior. “What do you mean?” she asked Nerina. “You want to know about Ionn? What?” But as they neared the town she shook her head. “You can find me at my house later, if you want to explain what you mean,” she told her.
Fay followed Murrough and Ionn to the door. She smirked, fire in her eyes, as Nerina cried her cries of protest. In a way, she was a small bit similar to Fay. Even though, if Murrough told her to go to bed and not get in on the action, she’d probably draw her sword. ‘Which I don’t have right now,’ Fay thought to herself with another slight frown. She looked down at her dress once more, the blood drenching through each thread. “Well, I’m going to have to go get changed before I attract a beast with the smell of blood. Do not do anything without me, got it? If we’re just getting the newcomers settled then you can send one or two over to my house, if you need more room.” Her gaze lingered on Murrough a second longer than anyone else, though her gaze was very professional and Fay-like.
She ran to her house which really had no right to be called a house in the first place. It was small with a thatched roof and brick walls, held together by mud. She had made it herself when her parents had died. She had no desire to live with Mrs.Holsey and her lady like ways. Her eleven sisters begged to differ. The house was small and circular, like a hut. Inside was a small kitchen consisting of a brick oven and several long knives. In the middle of the room was a fireplace and off to the side, a bed. Fay dove under her bed, grabbed a sack that contained all of her clothes, and undressed, throwing her gown in a basket. She thought of Murrough and her fingers grasped around an elegant royal red dress with a plunging neckline. It was half way on too, when she noticed what she was doing. With a disgusted shake of her head, she grabbed a blanket, covered herself with it, and walked to the river.
The water was freezing but Fay didn’t complain as she washed dirt, grime, and blood from her skin and hair with a bar of soap the village girls had made. She floated in her back contently for a few more minutes before she walked out of the river, the air whipping on her already cold body. She grabbed her blanket, wrapped it around her, and ran back to her house. Once inside, Fay dried herself off and grabbed a fish bone brush. Her parents had given it to her, a very prized posseison of her mother’s. She brushed through her knee length hair until all the tangles were out, leaving her with smooth, silky, beautiful red hair. Without a second thought Fay Rose grabbed a simple strapless brown dress, similar to most she wore, found a brown ribbon and tied it around her waist. She grabbed her leather wrist bands that fastened on the wrist and stopped at the elbows. After slipping on a pair of black ballet slippers, she ran out the door, beautiful hair streaming behind her, dress tickling her knees. She reached the others. “Alright, are we getting them settled or having them speak to our elders?” She questioned. She hadn’t meant to make them wait that long and by the looks of it, she had been gone around twenty minutes. She saw Murrough and at once felt like lunging at the boy, messing up his gorgeous hair… ‘Snap out of it!’ she thought to herself.
