"You dont have to talk to me as if I'm a child." she retorted, attempting to sound harsh, but it came out less than sweetly. She watched him, as he seemed to be staring whistfully,
"Are you alright?" she asked, carefully moving forward, placing a gentle hand upon his shoulder.
Thinking, biting her lip, she thought and then whispered,
"What if we were to run away? Father knows I've got the power, he wouln't dare challenge me, that's why he's kept me by his side! I only have to ask and he gives me what I want. If we were to go then you might not need to worry anymore." | |

Sarah woke up and felt almost back to normal, though the back of her neck was still rather sore. She stood up, glad that she was still in her robes, and walked quietly out of the hospital wing, trying not to make any noise so Madame Pomfrey didn't come out of her office. She slowly made her way to the Slytherin Common room, stopping every now and then to rest. She finally made it to the common room and flung herself into an arm chair, exhausted. | |
