Eliza is returning for her seventh and final year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. While at Kings Cross Station, and on the Hogwarts express she and her friends meet Damien, a seventh year Slytherin student. While he may have the good looks and an Irish accent to make any girl turn to mush -- his attitude is hardly up to standards. A new-age Draco Malfoy if you will. Eliza and her friends don't particularly care too much for him, nor does Damien and his friends care much for her.

All this judgement is passed before the two and company even know anything about each other.

After an unfortunate incident in class, the first assignement from their Defense Against the Dark Arts class forces Damien and Eliza to work toegther. The assignment isn't due until just before the Christmas Holiday which gives them a lot of time -- to get acquainted. Their distate for each other turns into a form of repressed hormonal tension.

Damien and Eliza manage (step by step with many faults along the way) to get closer, however their friends try everything to keep them apart. What reasons do they have? Do Eliza's friends know something she doesn't? Why are Damein's croonies so bent up on getting him into the arms of another girl? -- Any girl as long as it's not Eliza.

It's not like the two are falling in love -- is it?

This is not one of those fluffy love stoires that all works out with the "Happily Ever After" There is something about Damien's past -- something that will affect his future -- something his closest Slytherin friends don't even know. Something that could put him -- and anyone who gets close to him -- in extreme danger.

So here's how I want this to work: The characters of this plot are meant to be in the houses specified. If you want to play a Gryffindor student, make sure you ask for a character who is in said house. The background/biographies of the character(s) you pick is up to you. But keep the plot in mind -- these characters are going to have depth about them.

Character background/biographies are a must before joining (And a picture doesn't hurt either ). There is no such thing as a "perfect person" therefore there is no such thing as a "perfect character". Everyone has flaws -- please portray them. And a character who can do everything without lifting a finger has no depth. Make your characters deep! I will PM everyone (specifically the one who plays Damien) once the cast is complete because there will need to be discussion of the dark secret.

If so, here's a bio;

Name: Damien Kintyre

Age: 17

Appearance: Damien is the quintessential handsome Irishman. Blonde hair that falls just past his ears, striking blue eyes, that are always twinkling and a perfect smile. He's never seen not wearing his trademark Slytherin green Converse All Stars, and, whenever he's not wearing Hogwarts robes, he's normally wearing black shirts and ties with such mannerisms as "Punk is not dead" written on them. He has quite a big, with a lot of muscle, but it isn't freakish bodybuilder style, really it is barely noticeable. He is quite tall, around 6' 2''.

Personality: Damien is hot, and he knows it all too well. He's been described as cocky at best, whilst by others he's merey been called downright arrogant. He believes himself to be God's gift to women, an opinion held by some, downright objected by others. He doesn't really care about much though, anyone or anything. He's difficult to get close to, and he rarely opens up about his past.

History: Damien was born in Ireland, where his family was a little more than dysfunctional. His mother got hooked on smack when she was 15, and she had Damien at age 18. The man she married was a wizard named James Kintyre, who tried his best to get her off it using magic, to no avail. He left her when Damien was five.

When Damien recieved his letter for Hogwarts, his mother was in another clean period, so decided to move them to London for a better life. He's been living in London since, and has had some contact with his father, who went to work as a Healer.

In the summer of his fifth year, Damien's mother died of an overdose, leaving him with no one. His father took him in, but the death of his mother drove him near insane with grief. He attempted suicide, but was found and saved in time. Since then, he appreciates life more, but is still arrogant and resentful against his mother.

Well while we are waiting, I want everyone who's interested to read this next part.

This is the way I'm hoping for this story to go:

It is about the two main characters. How they struggle with one another -- how they come to understand the other. They are the typical polar opposites like you see in stories like this. Only there's more depth to it.

Damien -- like every other character -- is flawed. He's around a bunch of girls and knows every Slytherin in the school. Except there isn't a single person who's actually close to him. Somehow -- while he and Eliza are working together for school -- she manages to "break down his defenses" if you will

Eliza is a typical Ravenclaw. She studies -- works hard -- wants to be a Healer after she leaves school. But like every other character -- she's flawed. Eliza can be naive about some things -- she has this fantasy that everyone comes from loving familes and that there's no other emotion/feeling people know other than happiness. She puts on a smile for everything and believes something just as simple will solve every problem. She tries to be nice to Damien, but the front he puts on makes her feel like she's slammed into a brick wall. And she finally finds someone she truly doesn't like.

They argue about everything, and I don't exaggerate when I mean everything. Which is what lands them working on an assignment for Defense Against the Dark Arts. It's a trusting spell. Here’s how it spell works: both parties involved have to have trust and faith in the other. If they don't -- if they only pretend to have that trust and faith-- the spell will know. And it won't work. It could be life threatening if two parties attempted the spell when they weren’t being true to themselves and to the person they are performing the spell with.

Personality: Jason can be a ham at times and loves to play games. He is always looking for a good laugh. He is very smart for even a Ravenclaw but trys to not show it because he dosen’t want to be made fun of or called a nerd. Very close to his friends and his best friend Eliza. Is very cute and starting to see it, with this he can be a big flirt. His big problem is that he can be a little hot headed and protective. Known arournd Hogwarts as the Fit Raven he has somehow dated almost every girl in the school. He is also quite the bookworm just like any Ravenclaw. Lastly he loves anything and everything to do with Dragons.

History: Grew up just south of Cornwall with his mum, dad, and older sister Becca. They are all muggle’s exsept for Jason. Right as he got on the train for Hogwarts in his first year he met Eliza, they soon become fast friends and he now see’s her as his sister and best friend. He can almost always be found in the library read until he is kicked out. More then ready for his last year at Hogwarts he is ready to start working Magical Creature Squad at the Ministry for Magic in the dragon division.

Personality: She is a very sweet girl. A very easy temperment, and vey easy to get along with. She's not quite as naive as her friend Eliza, but she is always kind to those who show her the same courtesy. She's not usually (usually being the key word) vindictive to those who aren't though, she simply shrugs them off and continues in a way that makes life less complicated. She also is intuitive, stubborn, ocassionally arrogant when she wants to and is barely wippy. She also is willing to do anything for the people she care about, she will fight to what she believes is right, do not tolerate injustice, hates prejudice, although her family is full of it and sometimes can act impulsively. Although her relationship with her father (her mother when she was two years old) is not the best, she's rather spoiled for being his only daughter.

Background: Alexandra comes from an acient wealthy wizarding family, that do not tolerates muggleborns or halfbloods, although she doesnt live by those rules. Her family is full of prejudices and injustice, so she had learned that no matter how wealthy you are, it would not guarantee you happiness

Bloodline: He is half Chinese, half Scottish. His Chinese family line goes all the way back to ancient Chinese wizards. His Scottish side still lives in Scotland. It just so happened that his father was visiting Scotland from the US, when he met Evan's mother. His father decided to stay in Scotland and marry Evan's mom. They now live in Scotland, which is why he attends Hogwarts. He is half and half (father = wizard, mother = muggle).
Hair: Black, erm....kind of short and shaggyish.

Personality: Evan is the typical Ravenclaw. He's pretty nerdy. He has always gotten top marks in his classes, although he seems to have a special affinity for potions. Unfortunately, he tends to shy away from Slytherins, not knowing how cool some of them can be (some of them trashed his potions book once). He does, however, have a few friends from Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, but he tends mostly to keep to the Ravenclaws. He finds it a burden being around people who aren't as intelligent as himself. He enjoys reading, quoting random academic texts when speaking, and pointing out grammar errors when other people speak. He likes to dress well (despite his intelligence, his main area of superficiality is in dressing nicely). If you want me to add more, I can.
