Lacey's night was full of interesting dreams. Nothing really the same as she used to dream. Almost like a happy dream. Although she was fighting with a few people, she was normal. Yawning she looked in the mirror, and shook her head. It was only four-thirty ish in the morning.

Wetting her lips in the slightest sense she thought of Jeremiah. It seemed as if it had been centuries since she had talked to him. Wonder if he'd like a walk.... her mind raced at the time, whenever he wakes up that is.

The blush fell over her face at her own stupidity. She scribbled a quick note and slid it under his door.
Jeremiah,
Just woke up few minutes ago.
Thought you'd enjoy a walk or something of the sort once you woke yourself.

She went back to her room and plucked at her guitar, a nameless rhythm.

Jeremiah was sitting on his bed, his pajama bottoms hanging off his hips as he had a notebook in his hand. He hummed quietly as he scribbled down in the book. His mind wandered from the book as he heard an almost inaudible rustle. His dark eyes looked over to the door to see a note sitting just by it. Doubting that it was really for his room mater, he put the book down and walked over reading the note, asking if he was awake yet.

Jeremiah smirked and walked back to his head as if I sleep. He thought grabbing a t-shirt from the pile beside his bed. He stepped out of his room and knocked softly on Lacey's door as he pulled the shirt over his head.

Lacey's hair was slightly astray, and she was considering dying it a different color, when she heard a knock at her door. Unless Coheed was locked out [which was very unlikely], it had to be Jeremiah.
Looking down at her outfit, pursing her lips she shrugged. A pair of loose fitting, boy pajama pants, black with a blood red pattern, clung onto her waist with the help of a string. Her tank top, a plain white one held onto her body quite nicely, one of the few things that did. She opened the door and smiled,"I forgot, you don't sleep anymore do you?" She said walking back to slip her shoes on and walked out.
Sweatshirts are pointless. She thought dully. "Would you like to walk on the grounds, explore the unknown." She said, the lightest hint of mischief in her tiny voice.

Jeremiah smiled sweetly as he looked at Lacey open the door and make the comments she did make. "Never really slept much before." He said with a chuckle, brushing his dark mess of hair out of his eye.

Jeremiah raised an eyebrow as he looked over at Lacey. "The unknown?" He repeated with a smirk on his face. He held out his hand to the girl and bowed slightly. "Well Ma'am, I would love to." He said as gentlemanly as possible.

Lacey gladly took his hand, sliding her own gently into his. Laughing lightly at his comment with the accent he attempted to put onto it, she walked briskly to the door leading outside. The sun just peaked over the trees.
Didn't anticipate such a - romantic - walk. Oh well. She smiled a tiny bit.

Jeremiah smiled as he took her hand and walked off outside. The air was a little chilly, but what was there to be expected with how early in the morning it was. His gaze looked over to the sun starting to peak out. "Defiantly a lot prettier than some things I have seen." he said with one hand in his pocket, and the other still holding onto Lacey's

Lacey nodded, a shiver flooding her entire body. It ended as quickly as it came and she turned to Jeremiah. "How many acres do you think the school owns anyways?" She questioned quietly, glancing to the trees and back to meet his eyes.

Jerry shrugged gently looking back out at the sunrise. "Quite a bit I imagine. I mean, Hogwarts owns this place right? So for all we know, Hogwarts could just be over those hills, or miles away." He looked around, as though looking for Hogwarts. He looked over at Lacey and smiled sweetly again.

Lacey followed his gaze and attempted to see beyond to the school most witches and wizards attended. "They probably don't even know we are here. Like we just disappeared or something." Her voice was slightly strained. It was the oddest feeling, being forgotten.

Jeremiah shrugged slightly as her looked over the horizon. "I was never really noticed much, just kind of stayed to myself. So no one had probably noticed I didn't return this year." He thought that maybe everyone had most likely thought that he was shipped off somewhere else to live.

Lacey shrugged,"I'm sure I would've noticed." She Whispered, walking forward to the edge the forest. Where had she gotten this sudden burst of confidence? Just saying things that were on her mind.

Jeremiah smiled and looked over at Lacey as she looked into the forest. "If you say so." he said quietly. He took a deep breath as he looked into the forest himself. "So... how did you get stuck in here?" He asked

That wasn't exactly something Lacey had been expecting. The question she actually dreaded most the time. "Abusive family is the easiest way to start it. My mum left my dad and I when I was young. He beat me and drank and things like that. Then he went to Azkaban, my mum and her boyfriend came along and I was said to have too many mental and emotional issues so, here I am." She couldn't look at him, so she said instead,"What about you?"

Jeremiah looked over at her expression. The question did seem to come out of no where. He gave Lacey's hand a comforting squeeze, as to say sorry for bringing it up but she told him anyways. He smiled as she averted his gaze. Then she asked the exact same question.

It wasn't as though he didn't expect it. He would do the same if she asked the question in the first place. He had to try to think of a way to say it, without having her feel pity for him. "Abusive parents I guess you could say. It was just... alot of..." He tried to think of what to say. "Alot of stuff happened when I was younger."

She couldnt be inside for long, it was getting too much, even though it was nicer than at home,where ever that was.The air was think and she felt like it was sucking the air out of her body, so she walked down to the lake.She couldnt take being inside for long.

The wind blew through her long hair,cooling her body down.She took a sharp breath in and sight.

Lacey smiled and traced her thumb lightly against the side of him, as if secretly saying,'No harm, no foul.' She knew he felt oddly the same on telling it, not exactly wanting to, but at the same time doing so. So many things seemed to run through her head, some appropriate, some not exactly the best.
The way his hand felt, the way he looked, the way his voice, such a deep, yet soft voice, passed his lips. Although his answer was somewhat quizzical to her, she managed to understand. Nodding and making eye contact, she gave him a small smile.
"The past is the past. Now is now, agreed?" She said in her tiny, timid voice. It was her turn to squeeze his hand, letting him know, the best she could, that she would never judge him on anything he couldn't control.

"It's called past for a reason." Jeremiah smirked and looked over at Lacey. He took in a deep breath, smelled the fresh dawn air and shook off any bad thoughts that he had. Past was the past indeed, it ought to remain there too.

"You think there is anywhere to go swimming around here?"
