Ginny felt Harry's eyes burn into her, and she couldn't understand at all what his look meant. She turned her eyes to Elizabeth and refused to meet his intense gaze anymore. "Its nice to meet you," Ginny said brightly, trying to mean it with all of her heart. She looked... nice. Harry deserved someone nice. He deserved someone wonderful, and maybe Elizabeth could be that. Harry struggled to talk with Dobby, while still attempting to maintain eye contact with Ginny.

George stepped down off the curb so that he was between Harry and Ginny, trying to protect his sister from the gaze that looked like it might burn her skin off from its sheer intensity. "Yes, as if you couldn't tell we were related to the prat, considering our flaming red hair and stunning Weasley good looks. We all are a bit unfortunate looking, although Ginny manages not to take after all of us great strapping boys. Has a whole different set of body parts too."

"George!" Ginny interrupted, her voice appalled but not surprised. She blushed and turned to glare at him.

"And have you met Luna?" he asked the woman in front of him, enjoying himself immensely. "She's a girl also."

"Dobby is fines Harry Potah, Dobbys got himslefs a job....Dobby is working for masters Fred and George he is, right heres in thier store," Dobby said pointing over his shoulder, "if ever Harry Potah needs anythings, he just has to come sees his Dobby and Dobby will helps him get what ever Harry Potah needs...but oooo DObby thinks Harry Potah doesn'ts needs anything because Harry Potah is gettings married is he?" Dobby asked quite loudly in front the whole crowd now gathered.

a very awkward silence suddenly occured at Dobby's words, he looked at Harry and then over to Ginny. Then he looked at the blonde he didn't know and finally to George. The look he got from George said it all. "Well, Harry Potah, Dobby is supposed to be watching the shop so Dobby is going to go backs inside," and he hugged Harry once more and without looking back towards Geogre he went back into the shop and closed the door.

Harry smiled at George and his blatant attempt to protect his little sister from what he thought might be a death-gaze from Harry. He said goodbye to Dobby, even though he knew what followed would be a very awkward silence. And it was. He lookedaround at the looks on everyone's faces and waited for someone to say something.

"Yes, well..." Ginny said finally, breaking the odd sort of mood that hung over the whole group. "I really need to be getting back to the shop. First day on the job and all that. I suppose I'll be seeing you around?" She posed her question to the group in general, still not making eye contact with Harry. He just stood there so stupidly; she almost wished he would grab Elizabeth into a passionate embrace right there in the middle of the sidewalk and be done with it. It would make it so much easier to walk away. She turned to walk away anyway.

Luna sat on the curb beside Ginny. She wasn't too concerned that no had noticed her, except for George... She was used to being ignored and actually preferred that to the teasing and abuse she usually had to put up with when people weren't ignoring her. Ginny look absolutely dreadful and Harry wasn't helping at all. His entire focus was on Ginny and he had barely spared a glance at his fiance since Luna had spotted them.

She got up to follow Ginny, without saying a word. She merely looked over her shoulder and gave Harry a meaningful glance of disapproval as she came up to GInny's side.

Harry's stomach turned and he felt sick as he watched Ginny and Luna walk away. He just wanted to be alone right now. He needed to think. To sort out what he was feeling... and why...

He turned to his fiancee and two best friends and said, "I'll meet you at home later... I think I just want to be alone for awhile, if that's okay..." He assumed it would be and started to say goodbye to them.

Elizabeth reluctantly released Harry's arm from her grip. She felt as though they hadn't been communicating lately, and she wished he would talk to her, instead of bottling up his feelings. She was glad she had met Ginny now, although she had seemed not geniunely happy to meet Elizabeth. Her quick exit had helped to alleviate some of the tension in the group, but Elizabeth still felt awkward.

Harry gave Elizabeth a quick hug and said goodbye to Ron and Hermione and atrted to walk down the Alley, not really sure where he was going or for what purpose.

Hermione sighed and turned around the opposite way of Harry and started walking with the other two. "I think he's just taking this Ginny thing a little too harshly..." Hermione could tell something else was wrong with Harry, but didn't want to mention anything in front of Elizabeth.

Elizabeth was about to say something when her stomach growled loudly.
"I'm starving - are we going to go eat? I knew i shouldn't have skipped breakfast this morning" she said, changing the subject.

"Yes, yes, we are going to get something to eat... you should have eaten something Elizabeth," Hermione said, "You don't want to faint or anything..." They were nearing the Leaky Cauldron now and Hermioen was actually quite hungry herself.

Ron followed the ladies as they were approaching Leaky Cauldron. He sighed as he was thinking about Harry and Ginny. He never been this concerned since forever, maybe except on that time Hermione got petrified and, certainly, the time when Tom’s memory abducted Ginny. He was scared and so anxious on what will happen next. He made troubled sigh.

Shortly, he felt a different atmosphere. He could smell the aromas of incense and candles. He looked around and then it hit him. They already arrived inside the magical eating-place.

As they took a seat at a table, Hermione looked at Ron who seemed troubled. She would have to talk to him alone, later. Of course she knew what was wrong, he could tell soemthing was going on between Harry and Ginny as well as she could. She had always had a hunch. But what had just happened seemed to just reinforce it. "You okay, Ron?" Hermione saidm then added quickly, "Your hand, I mean."

George watched everyone disperse in different directions and gave a shrug. They were all being strange and awkward, but it only concerned him when it directly affected himself or the sister he was determined to help. He turned and went back into the store, where Ginny was feverishly dusting a shelf. Luna was nowhere to be found, but he thought he saw a blond head bobbing down one of the back rows. "She isn't touching anything, is she?" he asked in a low murmur. "Don't touch anything!" he called to the back of the store.

"Honestly, George, how do you keep your customers if you don't let them touch the merchandise?" Ginny's tone was caustic, but she kept dusting. She continued to work in silence, waiting for a sarcastic response from George, but he just stood there and watched her. Finally, she turned and waved the rag in his face. "I'm fine, George, so you don't have to stand here babysitting me. Maybe you can go and terrorize Dobby for a while. He seems to have a healthy sense of fear of you." Ginny turned to return to her dusting and knocked the whole shelf down.

"Yeah, you're just great. Between you, Lovegood, and Fred, I should be out of business within the week. Why don't you go upstairs and start unpacking? LUNA!" he called out, hoping to enlist the girl's help.

Luna followed Ginny back inside but, knew to leave her alone. Instead she wandered around the shop. She was reaching out to examine an interesting looking box when she heard her name shouted. Not one to heed people yelling her name but, taking her cue from how angry he seemed to have gotten with her earlier, she slowly made her way back to the front of the store and stood in front of George, looking up at him.

"Luna," George greeted her with a nod. "Do you want to take Ginny upstairs to get settled? You know... so she isn't alone and all depressed and tedious?" He acted as if he was being subtle, but Ginny heaved a huge sigh.

"George, I'm standing right here. I'll go, but only because I really want to see the flat and start unpacking. You just shout up the stairs or apparate up when you need me to come and help out." Tugging on Luna's arm, Ginny led the hesitant girl away.

“Huh?” Ron snapped from his thoughts. “My h-hand?” He pulled out his hands out of his pockets and looked at them. “They’re um… fine.” He beamed, putting back his hands inside the jacket’s pockets again. “Let’s go find ourselves a table,” he said, strolling away from the ladies.

Harry sighed as he walked down the alley in the sun that now didn't seem as wonderful as it had earlier. Now that he was by himself he could think. Why was he feeling this way for Ginny when he found someone he was supposed to be in love with? Naturally, Harry's mind would come up with some sort of excuse, but it seemed that this time there was nothing that could stretch the truth to be acceptable at all.

When he was talking to Ginny about Elizabeth, he was listing all of her good qualities, but his mind was telling him everything about Ginny waas better. This was just it. If only he could help how he felt, he told himself he would feel differently. But subconsciously and consciously he realized that even if could feel differently about Ginny, he wouldn't.

Hermione followed him and when they found a table, they sat down and the too-familiar awkward silence had engulfed the three of them once again. It seemed to always creep up like an unexpected monster.

Luna allowed herself to be reluctantly dragged away, rolling her eyes at George and his complete lack of tact before grabbing sleeve back and running after Ginny. "I hope you dont' mind, Ginny but, I already took a room for myself," she said as they walked into the flat.

Ron gazed around the table. The awkward silence guzzled them… again. He just couldn’t make his mind to stop thinking about the incident between his best friend and his little sister. It was hard for him being, somehow, in the middle. He cleared his throat, starting a conversation.

“So what d’you ladies want to eat?” he said, placing his un-scorched right hand on the table. He gave them a light grin. “Pasta... once more?”

"Hmm... actually, I think I'm just going to have some soup..." Hermione said. although she was hungry, her stomach seemed to be a bit upset and she didn't want to eat anything too heavy.

Ginny gazed at the flat in awe. It was not too large, but it was all hers. Well, hers and Luna's and some third person when they found her. There was already some furniture there, collected by the twins and by some of the previous occupants, so they could probably move in right away. Ginny crossed the room to a dingy looking sofa and picked up her belongings.

The middle room and the room next to the bathroom were both about the same size. Since there was no one there to argue with, Ginny claimed the middle room, knowing that the water sounds could keep her awake, as they had for the first 17 years of her life... her room was right below the bathroom at the Burrow.

"What do we need to do? Other than finding another flatmate...?" Ginny asked Luna absently as she took the entire place in.

"We need to get some better kitchen equipment. There is a knife, a goblet, and four cracked plates. The rest of the flat seems adequetly equipped, though," Luna replied, looking around the room and then, wandering back out to the living room and flopping down on the couch, staring up at the ceiling.
