Dances, Animagi and Flustered Werewolves

Welcome to the re-vamped version of an old RP of mine, whose title hence deludes me. Whatever it was, it was something like it's updated edition, as seen below:

Title: Dances, Animagi and Flustered Werewolves

Setting: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Time Frame: The Marauders' Fifth Year

Plot line: It's a stressful time of year. No sooner have three of the Marauders finally conquered their Animagus transformations they are whisked away into long, gruelling dance lessons--as punishment for their previously un-challenged 'crimes'. So, whilst James, Sirius and Peter dance the hours away, a 15 year old Remus is left with masses of his--and their homework; along with the duty of preparing Animagi timetables and such; avoiding a beautiful and shy fifth year from asking him out (even though his friends insist that he should be asking her out already!); refusing to attend the ball like it's the plague and only Remus out of his four friends actually knows how to dance--which means that he's left with holding dance lessons for students of any year who wishes to attend thrice every week; being the consultant to a weirdly lovestruck Peter; hooking up James and Lily unsuccessfully; confiding in a little-too-willing-to-listen Lily, which in turns serves to make James jealous; keeping all Sirius' many girlfriends at bay (there's way too many!); trying not to collapse from exhaustion or go prematurely insane; keeping James and Sirius from murdering Severus after he successfully (something James has not yet achieved) asked Lily to the ball; and lastly (and ultimately most importantly), keeping his secret of being a werewolf from all suspecting or unsuspecting ears of all ages--and worrying about the ball which is unpredictably either on a full moon night or just before or just after--because no one seems to know what to do anymore...

In other terms: A pretty average year so far.

Yasmin Winters (A cute, smallish Gryffindor who dotes on Sirius and is the third and last of Sirius' girlfriends) ~ baybgal6735

Nancy Rogers (Peter's crush and a generally little-speaking girl. Secretly likes Peter as well but already has a boyfriend in another school) ~ x-HermioneGranger-x

The above Original Characters (from Valentine down), all need a fully detailed bio. The canon characters also need a bio, but no picture is needed for the Canons if you cannot find one. Please stick to the vague above info of the original characters. Suggestions for the plot and/or characters are gratefully welcomed.

Note: General characters like teachers can be controlled by everyone as long as we're sensible and not like 'McGonagall [sp?] turned James into a squirrel in demonstration to the class of Transfiguration; he had no choice in this matter', or whatever might happen. If anything like that does happen, or if you guys prefer, I'll control the teachers or if someone whose online regularly would like to as well as/instead of another character--be my guest!

Please be online enough to post at least two or three times a week, accordingly. Please don't type one-liners, and it'd be nice if you could spell reasonably well and not 'lke ths'. Spell/grammar check if you're really unsure! Apart from that--enjoy your time RPing!

Ps. If you wish to be a made-up not on the list please tell me. But it'd be nice to fill up the above slots beforehand if possible. Any problems: PM me. I don't bite! Once we have everyone I'll post first, and we'll start either in the morning of a Summer day in Hogwarts or during/after breakfast.

Appearance: James has messy black hair thats imposible to fix, so it sticks up everywhere. He wears round rimmed glasses and has dark brown eyes(I think). James is about normal height for his age and has an athletic body form from playing quidditch. He always has a look of confidence no matter the situation... mostly.
Personality: James has always been a naturally smart, gifted wizard and sometimes he lets it get to his head a little too much. He is constantly trying to impress people; mostly Lily Evans, the one and only girl he fancied since his 3rd year at Hogwarts. Though he always seemed to fail in impressing this certian witch, he never gave up; thats just not the way he is.
James is really a great friend to have. He is loyal, trusting, and just fun to be around when your down. He is also protective when it comes to his closest friends and is known for cursing kids on countless occasions for trying to bully them.
James sometimes has a very low tolorence(sp?) for certain students such as Snape, and other Slytherins and enjoys playing pranks on them once in a while...
History: James comes from a wealthy and happy family. He was always treated well and cared for. James is an only child and feels as though Sirius had always been his brother since 1st year.

Personality: Yasmin is a very cheerful girl and has a smile that can brighten anyone's day. She will always stick by your side if you need help. She is a firm believer and defends it at all costs. She wishes to find her prince some day and ride off into the sunset with him.

Although, most people tell her that that will never happen she still has hope. No matter what happens, she thinks it will always get better.

History: Yasmin comes from a very big family where everyone is always smiling and laughing. Because of the way she was raised, its hard for her not to keep a smile on her face. All her other family was sorted into Ravenclaw, so she was upset when she became a Gryffindor.

But that disappointment slowly faded away when she met all of her new friends, especially Sirius Black. She has had a crush on him since she first met him and it always makes her jealous when she see him with a new girl every week. If he only gave her a chance she would show him that she was the 'one' for him.

Personality: Valentine is a quiet, shy girl with attitude. She's got a little spunk that you can find when she opens up to you and she's definately sweet. She's quiet, but not so that she's just completely silent. She's shy but not that she doesn't talk to anyone.

She's very sweet. She thinks the world of other people and couldn't stand it if someone she cared about got hurt, or sick. Valentine is one of those girls who takes care of other people more than herself, causing several gaffes to herself. She never means to cause them - they just do.

History: Valentine comes from a single-parent family. Her mother has long gone, and her father takes care of her. If she got hurt or sick, her father would be the first there to take care of her. Her father works in the ministry as an obliviator and is usually totally busy but always looks out for Valentine.

Personality:

Penelope is one of those typical quiet Ravenclaws that you would be able to find in the library, reading another thick book that isn't listed under the school book list. She's neat, organized and so sweet at times, people wonder if she's just faking it.

She's never broken any rules which leaves all of her friends to wonder how she could have fallen in love with one of the worst rule-breakers at Hogwarts. Hey, opposites attract, don't they? She, herself, does not know how she could have fallen for someone like Sirius Black. Penelope tries to deny it but she knows that whenever he makes her laugh, she falls a little harder everytime. And it gets even more complicated with the other two girls that like Sirius.

Her friends, especially her best friend Valetine Twilight are the most important thing to her. Sure, it’s sounds cliché. But it’s true. They’ve always been there for her and her for them. No matter what. Whether it’s needing a person to listen to them or staying over at her house for a week or two. Some call her a social butterfly but she tries to deny it. Penelope just likes to be friendly and talk to people. Right now though, Penelope is wondering how people's opinions change when they find out that she's the 2nd of Sirius's many girlfriends.

So, you’ve heard her good qualities but not her bad ones. One of the negative traits about her would be the fact that she’s stubborn. So stubborn. Once she starts something, she has to complete it, no matter how sick of it she gets or if she even gets hurt in the process. Some may say it’s a good quality to have but others hate it. Saying she should give some stuff up but this only makes her more motivated to prove them wrong..

Background:

Penelope comes from a very rich pureblood family. She is an only child and loves occupying the center of attention from her parents. At an young and tender age, she has already been placed in the spotlight with reporters wondering if she'll become a model like her mother or something with an exceptional job at the Ministry. Currently, she, herself has no idea what she wants to be.

When young she grew up with a few close muggle friends but was forced to leave them behind when her parents explained to her that she was different and was to go to Hogwarts, instead of the next public school like the rest of the neighbourhood.

Appearance:





Penelope cares about her appearance to an extent. With her mother being a model and her father being a very public figure in the Ministry, she was always presented as their successful daughter, and of course having to look her best to impress.

She enjoys dressing up at times, going all out for special occasions but she’s not scared to dress down when she wants. Walking around with sweats and a plain old t-shirt is something she does when she’s doing homework in the common room.

Just a note--: Valentine doesn't fancy Sirius, she fancies Remus. The ones after Sirius are Penelope, Trixie and Nancy. Just pointing it out !

True to her house she is: just, loyal, patient and true. She is a very happy girl and is always up for a good game of Quidditch. Her eyes light up every time that she smiles. People love to be around her and her personality can make everyone smile.

She is the best friend you can ask for, she is a loyal friend and will always be there for you when ever you need her.


History:

She is a muggle-born witch that comes from a loving family. She has one twin brother. They've always done everything together, ever since they were born. She grew apart from him when she got her Hogwarts letter. He was confused as to why he didn't get one. Ever since then he has treated her with distain because of his jealously. Trixie has always hoped that they would make up one day.

She loves her house and thinks that people underestimate them. She wants to prove to people that they are capable of anything that the other houses are.

Personality: Sirius is the type of person that everyone knows. Or, at least, knows of. His personality is larger than life, with a way of just laughing in the face of danger and being careless in his handsome looks. In having three girlfriends, he just feeds his ego by parading them around with him wherever he goes, unless it happens to be that time of the month. No, Sirius does not have feminine problems. His maturity extends beyond his fifteen years, living almost a double life when forced home over breaks. Without James and Remus, he wouldn't be nearly as social. He and James tend to feed off of one another's energy, but at times, he just likes to be with his girls. Each one of them provides something different for him, which lets him not worry about committing to anything. Sirius is horrible about commitment. But, then again, why confine his good looks to just one person? He figures it would be a crime to not share the love around.

He can't say that he is full on in love with any of them. To say that would be to pick a favorite, and by doing so, he would risk losing everything. He does love them in the platonic sense, and surely their appearances. He wouldn't be dating them if he found them unattractive.

History: Sirius is born of a strictly pureblood family, and so is forced to keep his school life separate from home life. His parents, and the rest of his family for that matter, would never approve of his behavior while in school. More or less that one of his girlfriends is muggle born. Sirius has a lot of inner demons that he doesn't ever really let out, and so is a bit introverted. His outgoing, recklessness tends to be a defense mechanism.
