Orion looked over his shoulder at the girl in question and saw Hogan, a Hufflepuff girl in his year, looking moon-eyed and stepping from foot to foot a few yards down the hall. He looked at MacNair and then Wendi with wide eyes. "Surely you're not going to leave me to be set upon by Hogan. She'll weep and cling and I'll be unable to get away from her until we arrive at Hogwarts. I'm hoping you'll save me, Weasley. You're a Gryffindor. You save people." He begged her with his eyes, a grin tugging his mouth into a crooked smile.

Lex looks at Joey and her crazy comment. "Well, it's much too early to put our robes on, and I am getting tired of the silence. I vote for the last one too." Lex gets up and opens the window. "You go first, Joey, and do hurry. All this wind is just ruining my hair."

"Aww poor Malfoy. If I was inclined to care, maybe I would be the noble Gryff and save you." Wendi said this as she grabbed onto his cheek in a mommy manner and squeezed it like he was a child then let go, "But I'm not..." Grinning Wendi almost fault sorry for him, but she enjoyed this so much more. She knew by the look of his eyes what he wanted more then anything of, and frankly, she wasn't ready to give him a bit of a taste of it.

"Oh Hogan dearest! I think Mr.Malfoy here said he wishes to have a private talk with you." Wendi yelled over to the Puff as she watched the girls eyes fill with glee. Whispering to Malfoy and grinning, "Run along now if you please." Trying to hold her laughter at his face she watched as the girl came towards them.

Andi turned and watched the two clown around by the window. "Oh, stuff it, Lex. Your hair won't move. You put enough charms on it this morning." She pulled them both away from the window and sat on the floor. "If you fall under the train, your father will be very upset with me, Jo. I don't want to make the vanquisher of the Dark Lord angry with me. So... no jumping today." She looked to the boys for an idea.

Jodi watches as a Gryffindor girl, Wendi Weasley she thinks calls her over. She wonders why Orion Malfoy is hanging out with Gryffindors when he could be spending time with her. "Why Orion I've been looking all over for you. You know I have a bone to pick with you. You didn't answer a single one of the letters I sent you. If I didn't know better, I'd swear you were trying to avoid me." Jodi pushes the Gryffindor aside and proceeds to put her arm around Orion waist.

Joey giggled at Lex, as Andi teased her. Her hair was always perfect.. now Joey knew why. But, at the mention of the vanquisher of the Dark Lord, Joey's grin widened. She didn't comment on it to bring attention to herself, or to who she was, but her dad was the vanquisher of the Dark Lord. Her dad was the best there ever was. And she knew it. "Weasley, don't you have anything from Uncle Fred's jokeshop? Everytime I'm around him I end up with free goods to blow stuff up with. You live with him... don't you have anything?" Joey asked desperately, taking her seat once more.

Lex was not at all pleased her sister had devulged her secrets. "Well, you do well to pay more attention to your looks, Andie Pandie. You always look like you just came off the quidditch field." Lex sat down and pouted. Her sister was just like Jake. No fun!

Orion gave Wendi a measured look before turning to note Hogan's approach. "We're not done," he smirked, his eyes hooded and his voice full of promise. Without much work, he twisted from her embrace and cupped her elbow in his hand. "Jodi, don't tell me you didn't get any of my owls? I hurts me to think that you think so little of me." He walked her a few feet down the corridor and away from the crowd.

"I wish I could come and spend time with you but..." He latched onto the nearest excuse he could find. "I have to show a new student the ropes." He spotted the redhead from earlier standing alone at the end of the line. He touched her arm and scolded gently, his eyes pleading. "There you are. I've been looking for you. I'm glad you found the trolley, but we can cut right to the front of the line." He propelled her forward, leaving Hogan behind.

Andi waited for Brennan to respond and answered her sister's complaint while she could. "I wish I had just come off the Quidditch field. That would be more fun than this is. Besides, why should I bother with all the charms and make-up? Anyone who wants to see what I look like dresssed up need only look at you. I don't have anyone to impress." She shifted uncomfortably and hoped Lex would drop it.

Angry at being rejected by Malfoy yet again Jodi gave him a piece of her mind. "Fine with me Malfoy. You go show the firsties the rope. I have better things to do than wait for you." With that she left for her compartment in a huff. She wondered who the new red head could be. The girl looked much too old to be a first year.

She stood staring out the window, watching the scenery rush past as the train hurried on its way to Hogwarts, while the line slowly creeped forward. At the sound of a voice, Serenity looked over and then up at the touch on her arm and before she realized that the tall blonde was talking to her, she was being propelled past the other students waiting in line. "Oh," she said, confused, while she tried to remember if this was another person she should know from her past. "Do I... do I know you?"

Orion smiled hopefully at her and stopped her before they reached the front of the line. He didn't want to reaquaint her with Winston and Potter before he got a chance at a conversation. "Not yet, but you could. I'm Orion. Orion Malfoy. And you're either a very tall 11-year-old, or you have a story worth hearing. Either way, I'm pleased to make your aquaintance." He took her hand gently to shake and rubbed his thumb across teh back of her hand.

Serenity narrowed her eyes at the mention of his surname, the smooth talking, and then, the stroking of her hand as she attempted to merely shake his hand. "Nice to meet you," she said, forcing a smile and glancing briefly around Orion, spotting JJ. "No, I am not eleven and no, it isn't a very interesting story."

Bryce would have stuck around but, Weasley decided to call over Jodi and he really didn't want to encounter her. He quickly ducked into the nearest compartment and eavesdropped on the conversation, smiling as Jodi finally left in a huff while Orion went off toward the redhead. He slid out from his hiding spot and stepped closer to Weasley, ignoring the other two Gryffs. "Now, where were we?" he asked.

"Nice work, Wendi," Rusty said, as Malfoy was first swept away by the Hufflepuff girl then disappered out of sight down the long line that had formed behind them. Rusty's attention was agin back at Wendi. "Okay so you haven't answered my question.......what did you change over the summer....you look.....look....different."

"How about impressing me, Andi? I'll let you." Joey asked playfully. Sliding across to have a look out the window, Joey could see the landscape changing, as they were getting closer and closer to Hogwarts. Serenity had been gone for a little while now, and Joey peered back over her shoulder. "Should we go and check on Serenity.. or just assume that we scared her off and she's in another cart with saner people?"

"I'm sure she's with some other people and she'll be fine," Charlie said. "I mean, there isn't much that can happen to her on the train, what with it being a... train and all, and prefects flitting about in the hallways." He looked to the window that Joey was looking out of and smiled as he noticed the scenery had changed drastically and knew they were nearing Hogwarts. His freedom from the boredom of summer would be over soon...

Wendi couldn't help but laugh at all the attention she was getting. She hadn't really changed that much over the summer but possibly mature a bit more according to her mother, but she was the same old Wendi. Trying to ignore MacNair's attempts of flirting she smiled brightly at Sirius, "My dear dear Rusty, boys do know nothing do they?!" She laughed and poked MacNair's whispering self. "Do you really want me to call her back now?!" Wendi shock her head and grinned.

Deciding on the fact the teasing had just gone on far to long and she had, had her fun she wandered over to Malfoy and the new girl she had seen outside. "Oh dear, do be careful with this one. He doesn't know how to keep his hands to himself. " Wendi gave Orion a glare and smiled at the girl.

Charlie then proceeds to poke Brennan in the ribs and wakes him up. "Uh!" Brennan say somewhat confused after being awaken from a sound sleep. "Did I miss anything?"

"Just some snoring," Lex says. "Joey asked if you brought any joke stuff from your dad's shop. We need something to break up the boredom in this compartment."

"Yea, dad gave me a few things to take back with me to Hogwarts," Brennan says. "He's going the send the rest by owl post." Brennan gets up and pulls a large suitcase off the upper rack. He then places it on the floor next to Andie and opens it. The case is full of joke items: canary creams, dung bombs, extendable ears, fake wands, Dr. Filibuster Fireworks, Skiveing Snackboxes, stink pellets, and Ton-Tongue Toffees. Brennan looks through the case and pulls a few things out which he hands to his friends.

"These are some new things my dad came up with over the summer. He calls them Goblin Cauldron Cakes and Kneazle Cauldron Cakes. The green cakes turn you into a goblin, and the pink ones turn you into a kneazle. I planned to sneak them on the food trolley when a lot of first years are around buying food." Brennan then hands some candy out. "Those are Shrinking Toffees. Eat one of them, and you shrink down to a toddler. Connor got ahold of one of them, and mom had a fit. Grandpa Weasley had to put a special enchanted muggle dead-bolt lock on the basement door to keep Connor out of there." Charlie bends down and looks into the case. He pulls out a packet of what looks like ordinary stink pellets. "I wouldn't set those off in here. Those are dragon stink pellets. Dad spent six monthes in Romania with Uncle Charlie perfecting them. They are powerful." Breenan then proceeds to pull out a box labeled Weasley Flying Wheezes. "These ought to work okay on the train. They're enchanted firedcrackers and are suppose to work in enclosed places like the train corridors. Just don't use a Vanishing Charm on them; it causes them to explode and turn everything purple. Mom still hasn't gotten the purple off the kitchen ceiling. Fortunately, the purple did eventually wear off of her. If you don't find anything you like, you can always check with Wendie. Dad also gave her a few thing to take back to school, too."

Serenity smiled at the girl who had just walked up to them. She seemed vaguely familiar and after a few moments, she figured out why. "Yeah, I got that impression," she said. "You wouldn't be related to that redhead in the compartment over there would you? I can't seem to remember his name, though..."

"Redhead?! Ahhh, Brennan?! Yes, he's my younger brother unfortunately." Wendi said with a laugh. "I'm Gwendoyln by the way, but everyone calls me Wendi. Your new right?! You don't look like a firstie to me...exchange of some sort?!" She asked the girl as she stared at her own red hair. The girl could've almost been mistaken for her cousin if she didn't already know all her cousins.

Jake listened to Malfoy and McNair get there's from Wendi and chuckled....she obviously didn't need his help. He quickly grabbed some chocolate frogs from the trolley, paid the lady and headed farther back on the train to see where everyone else was sitting and to make sure the first years where okay.

Orion made a mock pout. "You misjudge me, Miss Weasley. Don't tell me you fall for all those rumors about evil, scary Slytherins. Now, since you're obviously acquainted with this lovely new student, maybe you could do me the honor of introducing me." He grinned suddenly and bowed a bit to them both.

"Actually, Mr. Malfoy, we've only just met and I haven't had the chance to introduce myself to Wendi," she smiled at the girl and held out her hand. "I'm Serenity and you are right, I'm no first year. I used to attend the Salem Witches' Institute but, I'm finishing up my last year at Hogwarts."

Andi studied the spread of pranks, sorting through them thoughtfully. "It really doesn't matter which we choose. Any mayhem and destruction we cause will immediately be traced back to us. In fact, I bet we don't even get the prank off the ground before Jakey comes through the compartment door to catch us in the act. They chose probably the best Headboy possible, all things considered." Her voice had a trace of pride in it, despite her disgust at being unable to prank properly. Andi kind of adored her older brother similarly to the way she adored her father.

"Nice to meet you Serenity." Wendi gave her hand in return and shock hers. "Oh wow, the Salem Witches' Institute?! Thats a far ways from here, but I think you'll enjoy Hogwarts." Wendi added with a smile. Glaring at Malfoy she gave him a look, "I don't think you've impressed her much Malfoy, maybe next time?!" Grinning she laughed and turned to Serenity again, "Need help buying some stuff?! I have a feeling the others let you fend for yourself, children." Sighing she moved Serenity up in the line.
