She was planning on staying silent the whole while they walked, wanting to avoid conversation. That was until Flitwick mentioned something about Snape following them. She darted around and found him standing a little way off in the shadows. "I don't think it's students he's after, Filius," she remarked, ruefully, her arms folded. She gazed down at the little man, "Why don't you get off to bed Professor. I'm sure Severus can show me where the bathrooms are and in the meantime he can explain why he is was following me."

Professor Flitwick looked between the two of them. He'd heard the rumors, of course... "Alright then, I'll leave you two alone," he said, hurried off to bed.

"So, you just jump to the conclusion that I'm following you?" Snape sneered, looking after Flitwicks retreating form.

"So you deny it then?" she asked, not really answering his question, knowing there wasn't much else he could've been doing. Right now she didn't really feel the urge to ask why so stood on the spot, caught in a would-be limbo.

"No," he simply replied. Yes, he was following her, watching her, but that did not mean that he wished to speak to her. He still hadn't forgotten what happened a few weeks ago and he knew she hadn't either.

His admittance satisfied her, if only a little. "Are you going to show me then or not?" she asked, with the same indifferent tone in her voice that she'd use with any other member of staff, had they been the one to be caught following her.

"If you are finished questioning my actions, yes," he replied and strode over to a blank wall. He ran his hand over an area of wall and pressed a few bricks. Then, he strode over to the opposite wall and whispered "bubbles" whilst tapping, in a circular motion, the wall with his wand. A door suddenly appeared and he opened the door, gesturing inside.

As she watched him open the doorway, she took note of the password and what he was doing, adding, "If you didn't follow people then there would be nothing to take note of." Eyeing the doorway, she peered inside. The smell seething from the room, a deep musky scent, began to give her a headache and the fumes stung against the cut on her leg which was now bare. Turning on her heel, she replied, somewhat distractedly, "Thanks, but I've decided against it now. I need to go." she added, somewhat pointlessly as her feet seemed glued to the spot.

"Make sure you close the door if you're done," he sneered and then, turned to walk away.

Annoyed, not just at him but also freshly annoyed by both Dumbledore and Flitwick, she turned her wand on the man with his back to her and screamed, "Sectumsempra!" putting all her heart and force into the spell, watching with pure delight and sweet vengeance as the curse raced toward him.

OOC: I think it should be alright, although fire objections at me if you have any. I figured it's a spell which could've come up before and I'm not referring to the HBP or anything severely major like that.

He heard the incantation and was able to deflect the curse a split second before it hit him. Snape had spun around and now had his wand pointed at Marcella, "Incarcerous."

She'd let down her guard too soon. So sure of herself she'd folded her arms and was unprepared for the spell that hit her next. She fell back, bound tightly by ropes, her wand still in her hand, however her arm was strapped to her side so all she could do was fire spells at the floor. Far angrier than she'd been before she'd attacked him, she yelled, "You're going to regret this Snape! I swear, I'll make you pay. First our child and now me. You're despicable."

He strode over to her, contemplating a gagging charm. "What about our child? I did nothing to our child and I've done nothing to you. You attacked me," he said, though he didn't argue her point that he was despicable. Snape wasn't sure what to do with her.

It was just like him to deny everything, make her look like the bad person in all this. "You stood by and watched it happen. And then you said you were glad. That's as good as murder so far as I'm concerned." Flicking back some hair that he fallen in her face in her anger, she spat, "You provoked me."

I was thinking last night (yes, I couldn't sleep. I was up thinking about the rpg. Lame, I know) thinking how funny it would be if 'someone' walked in on the little scene. It'd so look like Snape was the culprit. Evil twist sort of thing. hehehe. *sporks Snape*

'Thanks Sirius,' Tonks settled in teh chair ignoring Snape's comments. As h moved off, she turned, stickng her tongue out at his back. 'Git,' she said, not bothering to lower her voice as she turned back to Harry and Sirius. 'So Harry,' she eyed teh man in the bed. 'What happened? You were right behind us.'

"I wasn't that close behind you, Tonks, and then I got stopped by someone in the village... Lestrange. She wanted to chat, and I wasn't very polite. I probably deserved to have my legs broken. I don't mind it so much, actually," Harry grinned and settled into his pillow. "I get a few days off, and Snape is upset with me. It could be a lot worse."

'Bellatrix? That --' Tonks launched into a tirade of insults. 'One of these days, she'll get caught in a fair fight.' She shook her head, her knuckles white on teh chair. Taking breaths she sat back, trying to calm down. Sirius had far more right to hate the woman. Bellatrix had led him a merry dance from what Tonks could remember, but it was patchy. She closed her eyes, squeezing them trying to clear her mind. He'd been attacked several times anyway. Opening her eyes she glanced over at him.

She shook her head. 'As for that git,' she nodded towards the door. 'Just ignore him. You know the drill.'

Sirius couldn't help but laugh at Tonks sticking her tongue out at Snape. He wished he had thought of doing that too. Sirius pulls up a chair and sits next to Harry's bed. He listen to the tale Harry tells about Bellatrix. "So my dear cousin has healed faster than I thought she would. You would do well to stay out of her way, Harry. Bell is a dangerous woman to tangle with. Your lucky you only got your legs broke, and what's this I hear about you'll having a welcoming party and not inviting me, Tonks. Has Sunny make you forget your old cousin already?" Sirius would rather have tea with Snape than spend any time with that traitor, Sunny boy. He couldn't see what Tonks saw in him. Love is blind they say, but Tonk's love must be deaf, blind, and dumb.

Sirius smiles at Tonks. "Well, that is true. He does have James' reputation to live up to. James could drink me under the table and not even work up a sweat."

Harry didn't want Sirius there, and he clenched his jaw as he chatted so amicably about his father. He'd been gone for two years, and then he'd suddenly reappeared and run off somewhere. Harry had MOURNED him, blamed himself, been reckless and nasty from his grief, and Sirius hadn't bothered to even tell Harry he was still alive when he came back. Harry'd had to hear about it second hand.

And now it appeared that Sirius was going to be here at the school as well... Harry pushed the tray away, leaving just a few uneaten bits. "I'm tired and my legs hurt," he said dully. "I think I'm going to turn in for the night."

Harry is so cold to Sirius he can feel the goose bumps all over. What had gotten in to him. Sirius had wanted to let Harry know he was alive but Dumbledore had forbidden it. First Marcella and now Harry, what had Sirius done to deserve so much hostility. "Well, I guess you do need your sleep right now, so I guess I'll be going. Take care of yourself, Harry. I'll come and check in on you tomorrow after classes. We need to talk." Sirius gets up and leaves the hospital wing. He decides to head to his room when he runs smack into Snivellus and Marcella. Sirius takes out his wand and frees Marcella from her bonds. "Having a lovers spat are we, and in the hallway no less. I thought you knew better Snape. What will the students think?"

The irony of the situation hadn't escaped her as Sirius set her free and helped her up, reprimanding Snape in the process. For some reason, she found herself stammering as she distanced herself from Sirius, "I don't need your help, Sparky. I was doing fine on my own. And for your information, I'm no damsel in distress; I started this duel." she spat, pointing her wand. "And I intend on finishing it."

"Yes, except you clearly did require help," Snape drawled, eyeing at Black who had come to interrupt them. He looked away from him, ignoring him, as he continued speaking with Marcella, his wand ready at his side. "And just how do you intend to end this duel?"
