Kristi entered the forest with Cassie close behind her. Kristi's heart was beating so hard and loud that she was sure that it would wake the centaurs before she got to them. She had that feeling again, like someone was watching her, but figured it was just her nerves. She turned around and whispered to Cassie, glancing around at the trees, "Whatever you do, don't make a sound."

Archie foolowed Andriel and Marcella quickly.

Kristi walked deeper into the forest, searching for the centaur's resting place and hoping she hadn't made a mistake in letting Cassie tag along.

Archie ran forward quickly and helped marcella up.

Thinking she had heard something behind her, Kristi spun around, her wand out.

Pushing Cassie back behind her and motioning for her to stay where se was, Kristi creeped back down their path, searching the trees.

"you ok"Archie said as quietly as he could but frowning in to the trees.

Kristi made it almost the whole way back to the edge of the forest before cursing. She turned back around and began talking to herself, "Stupid nerves. Just relax you ninny. It's only murder you're planning after all." SHe chuckled, "Well, maybe not murder, after all, a centaur isn't a person..."

"I wonder if I should let Cassie know what I intend to use the blood for... Nah, she can find her own power..." Kristi continued walking, taking out her dagger, the butterflies in her stomach calming as her resolve stiffened.

"well she might not even be able to get it you know what they are like "Archie said under his breath to marcella

Kristi made her way back to Cassie and whispered, "It's nothing, let's go."

Kristi and Cassie walked further into the forest. Finally, they came to a clearing where three centaurs lay, sleeping.

Motioning for Cassie to keep back and quiet, Kristi pointed her wand at each centaur in turn, "Sopor"

Kristi turned back to Cassie and whispered, "Just in case. Now get the vial ready."

Kristi approached the nearest centaur, pocketed her wand, and hefted the dagger.

Cassie eyed the dagger warily. "You know...You never did tell me what we were doing." Cassie held out the vial Kristi had given her anyway.

Sarah walked down to the Great Hall to eat some breakfast and waited for Marcella, Andriel, and Archie. They didn't show and she went back to the library, and read her Dark Arts book in the quiet of the room. The Slytherin common room always seemed so loud...

Kristi whispered back to Cassie, "If the spell worked correctly, they should all be in a deep sleep. I'm going to slit this one's throat and you just hold the vial under it and try to fill it up."
