Tonks bit her tongue as Nick took the bread from her. She sat down, and began to eat again. His overbearing manner was starting to wear thin. She finished her food, standing up and bringing her dishes to the sink.

"You're not normal..." he said, with a shake of his head, munching on the crust from a slice of bread, using his other hand to absently stroke her hair. "I pull an eppy and you're still not ****** at me? What gives?"

"I think too much," she admitted, smiling. "I may be a bit drunk at the moment but, before that happened, I did some thinking and I know there was a reason for that little display earlier. I don't know what it was or if you'll share it with me but, I know you didn't mean it. Plus, Marcella's right, I don't really know you."

"When did she say that?" he asked, as he prodded his scrambled eggs with a fork, almost completely dissecting them.

OOC - They're still in the room only they're busy with Remus. So, Tonks can't really go up and see him yet. *pokes Nadia and Terry*

He shrugged complacently and rubbed his eyes with the tips of his fingers, his fork clanging on his plate as he dropped it. "I'm really not that hungry..." he mumbled, his nose feeling stuffy, his head heavy. "I could really do with some fresh air. Is there a forest or stream near here?"

"You've already been a big help just being here. You've managed to keep us from killing each other, and when you get better, you can be of even more help. Right now you need to concentrate on getting well. Tonks can managed getting everyone to Azkaban Prison, and they should be safe there. After all Dumbledore will be there. No one would dare try anything with him there, so will you please behave yourself and stay in bed?"

She followed Sirius and Remus up the stairs, Black taking the front while she took the behind.

"He's right you know," she said, perching on the bed, laying a pale hand over Remus' hand. "You're no good to any of us in this state. It's best you rest. Otherwise, you know the consequence; you'll be sent away from us and I know you wouldn't someone to have to take your place. That would make you feel incapable and that is something that you certainly are not."

She smiled, "It is true, had you not arrived I think Black and I might've come close to killing each other. Tonks is more than capable of taking us and if you think we need extra help then I'm more than willing to accept Sirius' aid also. We'll be safe in the hands of Dumbledore."

Her eyes flickered to Sirius. She knew Lupin would stay. Motioning with her head, for him to follow suit, she walked back to the doorway and gave Remus a short wave in farewell.

ooc: Yesterday was another bad day, today not much better, so excuse me for my absency. *bows*

Remus nodded at his friend command, really ot seein ghow he could disagree. His words sounded like he could almost read Remus' mind, but still he didn't show too much reaction on that. Marcell'a words weren't really making any difference either. Probably he was being like a baby. He was behaving so that every two minutes everybody had to take care of him. Pitying him and his incapasity.

"I suppose you will change my dippers, Padfoot?" he joked as he was put down on the bed. "Right, I will say here and be a good werewolf. Just, take care."

He ended his speech trying to sound more cheerful than he actually felt. He honestly had nothing to do but wait for Madame Popfrey now, and after she take care of his wounds... he didn't have a reason to stay at all. No matter Marcella's, or Sirius', words. He just was feeling too much guilt to actually be of help. He was always this useless...

From the door, she chuckled, "Nappies? I think Tonks'd prefer it if she were allowed to change those.." "Of course I want to come. Not only is it a chance to get out of the house but, I can have you to myself again," she said, standing up too fast and getting dizzy so she had to hold onto the table to keep from falling.

He thought she were going to fall, so he caught her by the shoulders just as she held onto the table. "Are you sure you're fit to walking around?" he asked, warily. She seemed pretty gone, from what he could tell and her open admittance to wanting him alone definitely proved that, as being this open was not like her at all.

"It was spinning?" he queried, using his left hand to support her back, using his right hand to touch her face, looking into her eyes. "Of course I'd catch you....but you've never drunk alcohol before, have you Kristi?"

"I have so... You gave me some when we went into the village. But, this really isn't that much different from some of the potions I've tried, though I've never talked this much with them," she replied, looking up at him. "Why?"

You won't shut up, I'm beginning to think a cork in the mouth might do you some good." he said, both hands about her waist, he was now practically holding her up entirely.

"I can't help it," she said, taking advantage of his being there to hold her up. "But, you have to admit, it's not like I only had one or two drinks, Nick. I got the feeling Tonks was trying to get me drunk, for some reason."

She stood up on wobbling tip toes and leaned in close to whisper in Nick's ear. "You know something? I think I'm normally a bit uptight."

"Why would Tonks want to get you drunk? I mean, I could understand if it was me but..." He lifted her up again, she seemed to be leaning all her weight on him, she felt as limp as a ragdoll in his arms.

He whispered back to her, "Yes, you are uptight and sometimes I wish you weren't so but I'm beginning to miss the real Kristi."

"If you're so sure then could you please give me an extimated time of arrival?" he enquired, trying to play along figuring he was better off doing so rather than fighting the immature Kristi. "Shall we take a walk to the pond then? Perhaps splashing water over you might bring her back."

"I don't know," she shrugged. "Like you said, I've never really had alcohol before so, I don't know how long it would affect me. But, yes, a walk to the pond would be nice. I even think I can use my legs properly, now."

"Don't worry about that, I'll carry you." he said, picking her up under the knees swinging her arm around his neck. He kicked the door open and then kicked it again to close it, squinting as the stark sunlight hit his eyes.
