She burst out in giggles as he tickled her before she could respond, curling herself up into a ball. When the tickling subsided she slowly straighened herself out and replaced her hand on his back. "I think I like you embarrassing me," she admitted, biting her lip and dropping her gaze, having just embarrassed herself.

"Guess what?" he said, poking her on the nose. "I think I like embarassing you too." He bit his lip as she did hers and watched her eyes glitter.

"Now you're mocking me," she pouted and pulled on his bottom lip. Deciding to just do what she wanted and stop worrying about it, she leaned in and kissed him after pulling his lip back out.

"I would't bet on that," Remus said under his breath, thinking Sirius meant his. Both Sirius and Tonks had disappeared thuogh the door and Remus was left alone to lay on his bed. Good Merlin, his side ached so much... Being alone wasn't helping. The silence of it all echoed around, like a ghost wail. He hated this feeling - if only he had a normal life.

He thought he heard the sound of footsteps and his ears picked the noise as if his life depended on it. We idly wondered where was Kristi, or Nick, and where had Marcella run to. Of course he didn't want to cause the poor child more grief -

Child. No, not child, even if Remus was quite older. Still she shouldn't suffer no longer because on her freak server, himself. He just continued to lay looking up at the ceiling, minutes passed by.

He smiled as she kissed him and pouted in return, sulking. "I wasn't mocking you. I get the feeling you're mocking me."

"One thing's for sure," he said, poking her nose affectionately for the second time, following his finger with his lips. "I'm confusing the pair of us into oblivion." He glanced toward the curtain and saw morning rays flashing in through the material. "Looks like it's morning."

Kristi followed Nick's gaze to the window and then, looked back at him. "Can we just pretend it's still night? I don't want to go out into the chaos again, just yet," she said with a pleading expression.

"Sure," he whispered, knowing it wouldn't be right to try and make what she'd said out to be a joke. She really was scared, he could feel it as he held her about the waist and brought her head to rest between his neck and chest.

She sighed as he rested her head against him. She was becoming a little more accustomed to his topless state, though it was a bit different now that she could actually see him somewhat with the light leaking through the curtains.

He ran his hands through her hair complacently and noted her eye movement. "Got a nice view down there?" he joked.

'Don't be silly,' she scoffed, knocking him with her shoulder, 'of course we're still friends.' Tonks grinned as she moved on. Maybe Sirius was just teasing, she still didn't understand why she was blushing so terribly anyway. Shaking her head, she entered the kitchen. 'So how about bacon, eggs, and sausages then?' she asked, turning to Sirius.

She was blushing again but, looked back up at him, despite the risk of being teased. "It's okay," she managed to say with a straight face, though she felt even more heat rise into her cheeks as she said this.

"Just okay?" he scoffed. "In that case, maybe I should put my shirt back on, save you from the less than perfect view. Don't want your eyes getting sore."

"No," she said, placing her hand back on his chest. "I said I liked it off and I meant it." She was rather impressed with herself that she had managed to say that without feeling like she had blushed at all.

He was about to ask if she'd like anything else off, when he realised just how cheeky that sounded. Deciding against it, he chose to simply smile instead. "If we're to stay here all day, what are we to do?"

"Oh well, wake me up when you think of something," he told her, grinning as he turned and snuck back under the covers, closing his eyes, feigning sleep.

She sat up after he turned and closed his eyes. She crossed her arms and looked down at him, thinking she saw the slightest of smiles tugging at the corner of his lips. It was a few moments later that she realized she'd been staring at those lips. Why did she have to be so insecure? Any other girl would have just acted on what they wanted to do. It wasn't as if she thought Nick would protest. So, why was she just sitting there, staring at him? Building up her resolve she lay on her side next to him and draped an arm over his chest while propping her head up on her other hand. "I don't want to sleep," she said, tracing random patterns on his chest with her fingertips.

He snored loudly, a shiver going down his spine as she trailed patterns on his chest. Inwardly, he grinned.

"You know, I don't recall you snoring like that last night," she said, smiling and continued the movements of her fingers, rather enjoying the sensation on her fingertips. "I don't believe you're really that tired but, if you'd rather I left you alone..." she stopped and allowed her fingers to trail over his skin as she rolled onto her back, her hand now resting on her own stomache.

With his eyes closed, he responded, "You know, I do sincerely apologise for not snoring last night. But just because one snores doesn't mean they do it on all occasions, you know. Now come back here," he said, motioning with his hand. "I was enjoying that."

"Aren't we demanding?" she laughed but, she rolled back over to resume tracing patterns on his chest, anyway because she was rather enjoying it herself. It was soothing and she ended up resting her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes, as her fingers moved.
