Wendi felt like cursing Malfoy for his foolishness. She truely doubted that Serenity was that stupid not to see what he was playing at with all his bowing and niceness, almost made Wendi want to throw up. But, she smiled at Serenity as she spoke, "No problem at all." Wendi saw the pretty uniform Serenity was putting on and couldn't help but stare, "Thats awefully pretty, the orange is nice too. Oh wow, a fire, we have nothing like that but I love our uniforms nonetheless."

Wendi went to get her final adjustments on her uniform and hair ready before she took a seat and looked out the window. "Looks like were almost there, I can start to see the lights in the distance."

"Yeah, the fire is kinda cool but, the orange doesn't really go well with my hair. Luckily, we're always wearing these black robes so, it's not too bad," she laughed, sitting across from Wendi and looking outside. "I hadn't realized it had gotten so dark. Does the boat ride from the station to Hogwarts take very long?"

"Orange does clash with the red eh?!" Laughing she moved away a piece of her own red hair and smiled. "Well, Hagrid being who he is will probably be giving you a detour trying to make sure the firsties see the castle from the lake. It's really not that long, but the site, for the first time, you'll never forget it. At least, I know I never will. Seeing it all lite up at night from the lake, oh its amazing!" Wendi suddenly began to remember her very first time at Hogwarts, and now it'll be her last time ever going again. It was kinda sad but the year had just began! She had to control herself and be happy. "I'm sure it'll be different, but I think you'll like it."

Bryce wasn't about to linger in the compartment with four Gryffindors so, when Orion left with the new girl, he quietly made his exit as well. After terrorizing some first year in the next compartment he stepped out and nearly ran into Orion. "So, how'd it go?" he asked.

"It sounds lovely but, I must admit that I'm a bit nervous. All the other people getting sorted will be eleven and I'm nearly eighteen. Plus, I haven't been in school for over a year, I'm afraid I've forgotten everything and what if what I learned in my school isn't enough for Hogwarts?" she said, voicing her fears as she stared out the window.

Orion shrugged. "It went as well as could be expected considering Weasley is determined to ruin things. I suppose she isn't what I thought, since I believed that she could be overcome by sweet words and my just being male, but..." He shook it off. "Weasley can't be around forever."

Bryce listened and nodded. "So, Weasley's the only thing standng in your way? And here I was thinking she wouldn't be that easy," he smirked. "Did you happen to catch that rather interesting and informative surname back there?"

"No, not the only thing. Just the most annoying thing. I don't know why she cares so much unless she wishes it were her. And I'm pretty sure she doesn't, because she's been difficult since we met up with her earlier on the train." He let it go and focused on what Bryce had asked. "I heard it. My father is going to get quite the interesting owl from me once we arrive."

"I'm sure your father will be pleased, although, I think your grandfather would be even more pleased. But, who cares about that right now. I'm sure you'll have plenty of opportunities to woo Miss Rosier-McMillian once we get to Hogwarts," Bryce said. "And, i need to get started on the twins..."

Orion kicked the wall. "The idea of my father ordering me to smarm up to that girl makes me want to have nothing to do with her," he grumbled. "I might have all the time and energy in the world, but I'm not sure I have the inclination. But, yes... enough about her. You need to get started on the twins. Honestly, I don't know which is which. I mean... I know one is... more girly." He threw his hands up in the air. "Explain it to me."

"We need a revolving door around here..," Joey said, rolling her eyes as people came and went. Had she been given the chance when Malfoy had the nerve to enter her cart, she would of blasted him back to where he belonged. But, with umpteen people in a tiny compartment, it was useless. Instead she just twirled her hair tightly, and glared at him with utmost hatred until he left.

Joey dug her robes out of her bag, and just slipped them over head. She didn't bother leaving the compartment. The boys had probably seen lots more before anyways. "Someone please tell me it's not my imagination, and the train is really slowing down?" Joey asked, glueing herself to the window once more.

"Um..." Bryce put a hand to his head and tried to think. He always had a hard time remembering which was which. "I think the one with the perfectly beautiful hair is Alexis and the other one, the one who is constantly talking about Quidditch is Andrea. Now, if I could just kure one of them away from their pesky Gryffindor buddies, I'd have a chance at winning them over."

Orion tapped his chin with his finger and grinned wolfishly. "You've come to the right place, MacNair. Arranging rendezvous' is my business. It shouldn't be too hard to separate them from the group once we're at school. At least you aren't trying to woo a Huffie. Those girls go everywhere as a pack. They're like a herd of thestrals. Now... the best way to go about this is probably to waylay one of them on the way to class. Or get in detention with one of them. Even alone with a teacher is better than nothing at all, and some of those teachers don't stick around for the detention."

Wendi smiled sweetly and tried to comfort her new friend, "Don't worry Serenity. I'm sure you'll do fine! I'm pretty sure you've learned enough to be in seventh year, and plus you have me to help you." Serenity did look nervous but hopefully the girl would get over it when she saw Hogwarts and how great it was, "And I'm also pretty sure the Professors will know your position." She added with a reassuring nod.

"Um...maybe another time sis," Jake said to Andi. "Hey watchit," he added, as she tripped over his shoes seeming distracted by something. Jake looked at his sister embarassed face and then over to Rusty, then back again. "Ohhh......." he said, realizing what the distraction was.

"Yeah, I'm sure everything will be fine but, you know how nerves are, they don't like to listen to reason," she smiled and then, turned away from the window to look at Wendi. "So, what classes are you taking? What are the professors like?"

"The detention sounds like a very good idea. Those are usually later on in the evening and, even if we can't speak during the detention, I'm sure there'd be time before or after..." he said, staring off into the middle of nowhere while the wheels in his head turned. "This requires some more thought. While the detention thing sounds good, I think I'm going to have to work a few different angles. But, don't worry, I'll pull it off."

Charlie grinned and stood up, looking out the window with Joey. "Nope, Jo, it's not your imagination, we're slowing down. We're here. Finally," He said. He hurriedly searched for his robes in his things. He found them and put them on over his clothes. "Come on," He said, grabbing Joey's arm, "Let's go get to the doors before the midgets have time to clog up the hallways."

"I'll be taking quiet a few classes, Astronomy, Transfiguration,DADA and alot of boring classes needed....The teachers are great! Except, maybe not Professor Snape, old toad he is." Wendi told her with a laugh. Then as soon as Wendi finished she felt the train stop. "Looks like were there! Come on now, I'll help you over to the boats." Smiling Wendi grabbed her things and smiled at Serenity.

Joey didn't hesitate. She stood and locked her arm with Charlie's, and set off to the doors. Down the hall they went, until they came to the big exit doors. There were already a fair few of firsties, waiting and looking nervous. "Oh... move over, ickle firsties. Hagrid will be along for you later, now scram." Joey pulled Charlie through the crowd of first years, and with his help they opened the door.

The night air was chilly, but not a drop of rain in sight. Joey jumped down first, and turned back to look at CHarlie. "I'll beat you to the very first carriage. Ready? Go!" And Joey, tore off, running at top speed to the carriages..

Serenity laughed at Wendi's desription of Professor Snape. "My mother actually liked him," she said, standing up and taking a deep breath, letting out slowly. "Alright, lead on. Might as well get this sorting over with, although, from what you've described, I'm looking forward to the boat ride over."

Before Charlie had even registered in his mind what Joey had said, she was shouting "Go!" and took off running toward the front carriage. Charlie took off at a sprint, trying to catch up with Jo. He did catch up with her, and they were only yards away from the carriage. They were running right next to each other now, but Charlie couldn't seem to just get ahead of her...

Smiling Wendi held back any reference to Serenity's mother about liking Snape and held her tongue, not nice to talk about a new friends mother now. She lead her on out of the compartment and after shoving a few fifth years out of the way they reached the outside of the train. "Over there is where you need to go!" Wendi yelled to Serenity over all the many excited voices booming out of the train. "Thats Hagrid, he may look a bit scary but he's one of the sweetest things." Wendi brought Serenity up to the group of firsties and Hagrid and turned to her. "Will you be ok?! I'll be having to go on the carriages, good luck and I'll see you at Hogwarts!" She gave the girl a small hug and waved before she left to get a carriage.

Joey and Charlie reached the carriage, at close to the same time, both running past it just a bit to get their speed back down. Joey bent over and put her hands on her knees, breathing hard. "Whew, Charlie boy... We'll call it a tie." Finally catching her breath, she swung open the door to the first carriage in the row, "After you..,"she said with a bow. After he got on, Joey pulled herself up and looked back to the train as everyone poured off. She could make out two redheads, and Joey yelled back to Wendi,"Up here, Weasley! We'll save you a seat!" Joey waved at her, before ducking in.

"I'll bet you five knuts, she'll be flirting with you before we arrive at Hogwarts," Joey said, taking the empty next to Charlie.

Charlie was still catching his breath. For a girl, Joey was quite fast. His breathing regulated after sitting down. He looked over at Joey with her comment about the flirting. "Hey, that's not such a bad deal," he said, smiling. "Wendi, right? She's a pretty girl if I remember correctly."

"First years!, first years!, ovah here," Hagrid shouted above the students as they filed off the trains. He saw the fright in their faces as the glanced up at his huge size. "Alright pipe down, pipe down, now form a line let me look at you." Hagrid noticed Wendi bringing up the new student. "Oh, ello thar, Wendi," he said, "and this muss be Miss Rosier-McMillan," he tipped his head in sort of a bow. Dumbeldore told me to look afta you.....I'll take it from here Wendi, she'll see ya at the sortin, go on now," he motioned to Wendi. Then he turned to Serenity and looking at her face said, "my how you look like your parents....new em both, I did....how's your mom doing....lass I heard you was livin in the states."
