No sooner than the words left Andi's mouth, Jake passed by the wondow to their compartment. He only glanced in as he passed but as what he saw settled in his mind, he backed up and opened the door. "Um....might I ask what you guys are up to....as if I don't know already?" Jake was smiling and his cheeks were flushed, he knew all too well of the antics of the twins, but throw in a Lil Joe, Charlie and a Weasley and your talking Peeves-level mayhem...

Orion was frustrated, which was unusual for him. The frustration made him angry and he turned to look for Bryce in the vicinity. Not seeing him, he pushed a few Huffie second years out of the way, sending one to the ground before he stomped back towards the front of the line, keeping his eyes open for someone to fight with or for Bryce to commiserate with.

"Jakers!" Andi jumped to her feet and leapt to stand on the seat. From there, she jumped onto his back, glad he had entered the car enough so that she didn't hit her head. "Don't be a suspicious poop, Jake. We can't all spend time together like good little Gryffindors without you thinking the worst? Maybe we're plotting how to steal your badge for our own uses."

Serenity allowed herself to be pulled toward the front of the line. "Oh no, Brennan offered to come with me but, I insisted that I could find a food cart and buy a few sweets without an escort," she said, looking back to see a rather ****** off Orion behind them. "He doesn't seem to thrilled that we've left him alone."

Bryce had had enough of being blown off. He shoved a few younger students out of the way until he came to the front of the line and bought himself some chocolate frogs before turning to head back to the compartment. Then, he spotted Orion, ploughing through the line in the opposite direction. "What's with you?" he asked, after he'd made his way over to his friend.

Orion pushed open the door to the nearest car and waited for the students to vacate it. When one of them wasn't fast enough, he hexed her with the Bat Bogey Hex. She screamed out in the hallway, inconsolable to her friends.

"That Weasley," he sneered, falling onto the bench and arranging his body in tight, angry lines. "She thinks she knows me so well that she has to protect the new beauty from me, but she has NO idea who she's dealing with." He brooded silently, glaring a hole through the compartment wall.

Jake was attacked by Andi, one of his twin sisters. He spun her around on his back like he always did trying to get her dizzy. He set her back down so she could stand on the seat and face him. "You wouldn't want this badge, Andi," he aid holding it out in front of her. "It means I have to act responsibly, and we all know how difficult that could be for you guys....." he giggled at all of them, teasing as he answered.

Andi put her fingers on the badge and pretended as if it had burned her. "Oh, that's powerful Dark Magic in there, Jakers, if it can make a Winston behave. You should throw it out the window before it infects you further." She snatched it from his hands and raced for the window Joey had been hanging out of earlier. "I'm going to save you, Jakers!" She laughed hard as she ran, tripping over someone's feet and sprawling on the floor.

"Did he?! Never expected that from my brother now." Wendi smiled and then grinned, "Malfoy will get over it. He's a spoiled brat and needs to learn he can't get everything, and even if he will eventually he needs to wait." Laughing she helped carry some of the things that they bought. "How many are you in the compartment?! This is alot of stuff, probably the whole little group ain't it?! Well, since you will be seventh year I think we should stick together, I can show you around Hogwarts when we get there." Smiling she turned to Serenity, "Thats if your willing to be my friend..."

Bryce followed Orion, remaining silent as he vented. He sat down on the seat and propped his legs up on the window sill while leaning his elbow on the seat beside him. "What would your father think of you getting all upset over a Weasley?" he spat the name. "Besides, I'm sure you'll have plenty of opportunities to sweep the new girl off her feet once we're at Hogwarts."

"You're missing the point entirely, Bryce," Orion said sullenly. "We get what we want. Its the nature of the game. To have a Weasley of all people call me off is... well, it would be embarrassing to anyone other than me. To me... its just infuriating." He grumbled under his breath, the heat having gone out of his argument.

Joey bust out laughing, and even pointed a little when Andi tripped over one of the boy's big feet. But, in between laughs, she reached down and help lift her back up. "You're such a dork, Andi." The badge, having been dropped in Andi's fall, lay at Joey's feet. "I'll give this back to you... for a free pass out of the detention. " Joey, knowing Jake to be a lot craftier than he looked, stood up and sat on the badge so he couldn't get to it. "What do you say? And that goes for Andi here too." Joey brushed back her hair, and looked up at the towering Jake.

"Sure, although you may have to fight to give me that tour. For some reason, everyone wants to help me out. I suppose that will die down once I'm not so new anymore," she laughed as they approached the door ot the compartment. "There's quite a few people now... I'm not sure if we'll even fit."

"Uh-huh," was all Bryce said in reply to that before starting on a new topic. "So, when are we going to get here. This trip has been nothing but a boring disappointment. If we're going to be on this thing much longer, I might just go after Jodi myself and lock us in the luggage car for a while."

"Oh please," Orion sat up, a glint of humor in his eye. His sour mood had passed quickly, as they always did. He was moody, a trait he'd picked up from his high-spirited mother. "Go spirit Hogwan away. She's in need of a good snogging, and she won't be getting it from me. I'm not ready to be tied to one girl, and as much as I tell them that, they always want to be the one to prove me wrong." He straightened in his seat and leaned forward eagerly. "What do you have in mind now?"

Bryce thought for a moment before sitting up and leaning in twoard Orion. "Well, I'm not sure if you noticed but, that new girl didn't really look all that pleased to have Weasley dragging her around. Seems to me that she was getting away from those Gryffs for a reason. If we could find a way to just get them to give her up for a little while, I'm sure she'd be willing to come and sit in a compartment with a little more privacy," he said, raising his eyebrows and leaning back in the in seat with his arms crossed over his chest. "And even if she doesn't come along, hassling the Gryffs again is better than just sitting around here."

Orion tapped his chin thoughtfully. "You know, I almost hate to say it, but the summer was kind to the youngest Potter as well. I wouldn't mind pickeing a fight with her if only to see her start twirling that hair when she gets mad. Its worth potentially getting hexed by the lot of them. And maybe we can show that we're not boorish and brainless gits like the Gryffs and steal sweet Serenity away from them. I'm in."

Lex sits on the seat opposite Joey. She laughs so hard at Joey and her sister's antics that she thinks her side is going to split wide open. "Jake doesn't need a Head Boy's badge to be a spoil sport. He's that way naturally. Jake's always been the straight arrow in the family. I can't imagine where he gets it from. Go on and give him his badge back, head boys can't give us lowly students a get out of detention free pass anyway. Only teachers can do that." Lex steps over Andie and gets a canary cream out of Brennan's suitcase. "Here why don't you eat this on the way out. It's one of Weasley Wizarding Wheezes finest." She hands the canary cream to her brother and then proceeds to hit him in the face with one of Brennan's Goblin Cauldron Cakes. "Now that the Jake we all know and love." Although Lex adores her older brother, she couldn't pass up the opportunity to play a prank on him.

Brennan can't help but laugh at Jake with Goblin Cake all over his face. "I wouldn't eat that Jake. It'll turn you into a goblin. Of course the effects do wear off in about twelve hours. Uncle George has improved them and the canary creams. The effects last a lot longer than they used to." Brennan decides maybe he'd better put the rest of his joke supplies away. He doesn't want Jake confiscating them before they get to Hogwarts.

"So, little Potter is looking fine after the summer holiday as well?" he replied, standing up and straightening out his robes. "Serenity... That's the new girl's name? Did you catch a surname? Probably doesn't matter as we wouldn't recognize it, anyway... So, we're off to the land of the Gryffs. Maybe I can get started with the twins while we're down there, as well."

Bryce opened the door to the compartment and stepped outside. The hall had cleared as the cart had moved to a different part of the train and all the students settled back down into their compartments. "I believe they are just a few doors down," he pointed.

"Poor you, first day and you must've been bombarded with all these new surroundings!" Wendi told Serenity with a sweet caring smile, "Well I do know more then the rest of the lot being older but I guess it's up to you if you chose to explore the castle when we get there, and I have a feeling you might end up doing that. Just watch out from those two gits, they will try and get what they want." Grinning she looked into the compartment where the others were and noticed all the people.

"Wow, do we ever have a crowd in here. Here's your stuff mates!" Wendi told them as she threw some pasties and cakes around the giggling room.

"We'll see what happens when I get there," she replied, warily eyeing the overflowing crowd in the compartment. Somehow, she didn't think Andi was too successful in saving her her seat. She stood outside the door with Wendi as she threw the goodies into the room and wondered if she should go and try to find another place to sit.

Joey covered her mouth with both her hands as the pastries hit Jake dead in the face. She didn't hesitate to hand him his badge back, after shining it up a bit. He'd probably be pretty mad... and Joey didn't want any part of it.

But, with new arrivals, Joey looked past the shocked Jake and to Wendi. She caught her Chocolate Frog, and scooted back up to her seat. "I think you guys can squeeze in..," Joey said unsurely. "If not.. we'll make room." Joey slid down and shoved the boys down closer to one another..

Charlie was smushed by Joey into Brennan, on his other side. The compartments weren't made to fit about more than six people comfortably, and they had eight. He smiled and said, "It's quite cozy in here. Welcome to the best compartment you will ever be in, girls," he said jokingly to Wendi and Serenity.

Andi gasped and swatted at Lex. "Be nice, Lexi, or he'll throw us all into detention. She squeezed between people to get back to Jake's side, where she wiped his face. "Don't throw us off the train, Jakers." She pushed him to the seat she had just vacated and stuck her head out in the hallway. "We'll squeeze in for you. Lex can just sit in Brennan's lap. They'll both like it." She grinned and held out a hand to the two girls before spotting MacNair and Malfoy down the hall. "Oh no... back for more?"

Brennan is nearly knocked off the seat when Joey pushes Charlie down. "Hey you guys I was sitting here first." He then hears Andie's comments. "If it's all the same to you I would perfer Serenity to sit in my lap." About that time Serenity and Wendie walk into the compartment. Brennan face turns as red as his hair. He's so afraid Serenity or worse Wendie heard his comments.

Jake sat down next to Lex with an angry look on his face. She took a rag out of her pocket and continued to wipe his face off. "I'm sorry, Jake. I didn't mean to get so carried away. I was just having a little fun, and you have to admit you did look funny with cauldron cake all over your face. You aren't going to throw us off the train, are you? Remember dad said you were suppose to take care of us. I don't think he'd approve of you doing a thing like that." Lex was really scared. She had never seen her brother look so mad before. Then his face turned red, and he starting laughing out loud. He took the rag from he and started wiping his face himself.

Wendi had started in on a fit of laughter at all the craziness in the compartment. "As much as I would love to join you all, I think I might actually go back to my compartment especially if those two are coming our way." Wendi gave a dignified look at MacNair and Malfoy down the hall coming their way and looked back in the compartment. "If anyone of you want some air, I'll be down there." She pointed to a few compartments down and stared at her brother before leaving, "Not only are you foolish with those tricks but your also a silly little boy." Laughing she waved and went over to her compartment before giving a last glare at the two Slytherins going to cause trouble.

Entering her compartment Wendi noticed that it wouldn't be to long before they were finally at Hogwarts and an excitement started up inside her again. Her last year and she wanted it to be the best. So far, it had been interesting...
