Andi lifted up the edge of the tablecloth to show Joey the scratches. "I'm fine. I have some supplies in the dorm for Quidditch injuries that should take care of these scratches. Besides, I don't fancy hanging out here while I smell so much like blood. Do you think its safe to go back to the castle yet?" She hovered a few feet from Joey and let the tablecloth flutter back around her body.

'I don't know Lia,' Beth answered honestly. 'But I try to be discrete.' Beth shrugged. 'No-one sees me like that because I've never done anything suggestive in public. I don't sit in a guys lap in the great hall, or in the common room.'

Beth looked away for a moment. Turning to meet Lia's eyes she continued. 'But I don't have pleasurable company each evening. Or people to walk me between classes.' Mostly I just don't exist, she finished to herself, dipping beneath the water again. Surfacing she grinned. 'So how do we get this firewhiskey then?'

Charlie was in the boys' dorm, organizing his things so they were more orderly as he hadn't had proper time to unpack the night before. He found a pair of scissors on one of the tables in the room and got an idea. The ends of his hair were singed about a centimeter from the bottom. If he cut a centimeter, nothing major would happen, right? He squinted and took the scissors to a lock of hair he held in between his thumb and forefinger.

Hagrid had just finished helping Filch remove the gooey mess of the handles in the bathrooms so he went outside to head back to his hut and wash up. But as he neared the edge of teh woods by his hut, a motion and noise caught his attention. "Ooo's thar," he bellowed, but no one answered. He began walking towards the noise but more noises, this time deeper in teh woods and away from the first noise made him stop. He turned to seek out the new disruption. As he began running towards it, he could hear it fading away as it moved faster than he could keep up. Finally deciding that it must have been a couple of Centaurs or other creature running through the woods, breaking branches as it ran, he gave up and returned to his hut.

"Ayyyy, oo took ma tableclothe?" he said out loud to nobody but his dog Fang. "An where's ma blanket?" he added as he noticed it too was missing.

Joey winced at Andi's scrapes. "We'll need to clean you up... later. Sheesh Andi.." Looking back towards the Hut, and seeing no signs of Hagrid, Joey nodded. "Yeah.. I think we can go. Watch the branches this time, though. And keep up... if you can...," Joey grinned right before tearing off at top speed.

About halfway to the window though, JOey's flight got draftier, and colder, and she she turned just in time to watch her quilt go flying behind her. Joey was now clotheless again..but she sped onward.

Andi hopped on her broom and zipped off after Joey. She almost got hit in the face by the flying quilt and quickly did a loop to try and catch it. No luck, and Andi kept flying upwards, finally catching Joey. "Jo," she shouted over the wind. She peeled off her tablecloth cloak and attempted to hand it off to Joey.

Joey tried to get the tablecloth, but with the speed she was going, it was just impossible. She had in her fingers at one time, but she dropped it. The tablecloth served the same fate as the quilt. "Just forget it.." Joey yelled over the wind and sped onwards. Hovering outside the window, Joey waited on Andi to see what they should do next.. "What now?" Joey said, teeth chattering..

Rusty and Jake came into the boys dorm to get something of Rusty's when they came upon Charlie. "Whoa.......what in the world are you doing McMillan?"

Jake had to hold back tears as he watched Charlie cutting his own hair, he had messed it up soo badly that one side was now above his ears and the other side has patches missing all over it. "Chuck, you might want to let us do it for you."

Andi put her feet on the window sill and braced herself against the wall. "We go in," she shouted back. She peered through the window and didn't see anyone. Putting her hands to the window, she couldn't get it open. "It's locked," she shouted over the wind again. "What should I do?"

Joey groaned and flew up to the roof, and took a seat. She layed her forehead on her knees, and wrapped her arms around her legs. "I hate that squid..," Joey said, angrilily as Andi came to join her. "I have no idea what we're going to do.."

Andi sat next to Joey and stretched her legs over the side of the wall. "I don't know, Joey. I'm starting to get cold and... and we need to get ready for practice. If we don't go, those boys won't know WHAT they're doing. And Lex? Lex will be lost. They need me to be there." She flopped back against the tiles. "We have two options. Break the window or go back down and walk through the castle. Or find an open window somewhere else."

Serenity wandered around the dungeons for a bit but, decided some time outside might be best when Professor Snape kept popping up around every corner. She was wandering around the castle grounds when she spotted a quilt fluttering down toward the ground. When she looked up she didn't see anything so she walked over to investigate. It was a rather large quilt and it was damp but, other than that, there was nothing unusual about it. "How odd..." she said to herself.

"Oh Beth... You do exist! You do... It's just you aren't as open with the guys, so of course they don't let you sit in their laps. You have to give rewards to get that..," Lia said with a wink. Not wanting to get too wrinkly, she got out and wrapped herself in one of the big, white fluffy towels. "Firewhiskey! That's the least of our worries. I can always.. owl mom, but I'm sure I can get some easier than that..," Lia added with a wink.

"An open window...Andi that could work. If we could just find an open window.. there's bound to be spare robes in any of the unused classrooms." Joey got up and dusted her bottom off. "Alright.. we have to be extra careful. We don't go in rooms, unless we know they're empty..So, come on." Joey carefully mounted her broom and pushed off, hovering while Andi did the same."Remember.. I'm in skimpy .. stuff here. And I care.. so don't you get me caught, Winston!" Andi seemed to understand, though she still looked amused about the whole ordeal, and the girls began their search for an open window.

Bryce looked around after stepping out of the castle and grinned as he saw Rosier outside all alone. "And what are you up to?" he asked, stepping up behind her.

But, before she had a chance to respond, something caught his attention and he looked up. Squinting, he could make out two forms on brooms hovering by a tower. "See ya," he said and ran over toward them.

He died laughing when he saw what looked like two girls in their underwear, though he couldn't tell who they were. Not going to let an opportunity like this pass, he summoned the best broom from the school cuppboard (he hadn't had a chance to sneak down and retreive it to place beneath his bed, yet), and mounted. He nearly fell off his broom when he finally got close enough to see who it was. His eyes roved over one of the twin's forms (the tomboy if her undergarments were an indicator) before he shifted his gaze to Potter. Though she had much better taste in underwear, there was something about Winston... "And what are you lovely ladies doing way up here?" he asked, sneaking up from behind them. "The last time I checked, the pitch was back there. And if I had known the Gryffindor team practised in their underwear, I might have considered asking the sorting hat to sort me in a different house."

Joey and Andi weren't having much luck in finding open windows. "It's a nice day today.. you'd think someone in this school would have a window open!" Joey and Andi kept on though.. until, a voice came from behind. Slowly, Joey turned her broom to find Bryce, not bothering to hide that he was checking both girls out.. "MacNair..," Joey muttered, her eyes wide. Joey had kissed Malfoy, and now MacNair had seen her in next to nothing. Head swarming, Joey reached for Andi's broom, "I'm going to be sick.."

Beth smiled slightly at Lia's words. 'I just don't think I could ever do that Lia. I guess it's too late for me at this stage.' She shrugged, climbing out after Lia and wrapping a towel about herself. She sat down on the surprisingly warm marble. She grinned. 'It is the first week back. I'm sure there's some to be confiscated somewhere in the school.'

"Give me that pair of scissors before you cut your ear off," Jake said to Charlie who had really made a mess of things. Jake watched his mother cut the twin's hair more than enough times to know how to do it. In no time at all he at least had both sides even. "There, that'll have to do....it's a bit short but you didn't give me much to work with, if you wear your Gryffindor hat, no one will notice."

Rusty decided to leave the hair cutting to Jake so he left to get cleaned up. He hadn't taken a shower yet so he took advantage of an almost empty CR to jump into the shower. After running the hot water a bit too long before jumping in, he had steamed up the room so much he could barely see. Rusty walked over and opened the window slightly to let some fresher air in and then hopped into the hot water. As the water began running down his skin he closed his eyes and began thinking about the upcomming practice.

Andi looked at Bryce, her face a fixed sneer. "Bug off, MacNair," she tried to keep the sneer fixed on her face for Joey's sake at least. She noticed a window open up in the Tower below, and Andi pointed it out to Joey, who took off in that direction. Andi hovered a moment before she flew closer to Bryce. "The squid ate our clothes," she confided before grinning at him. "Well, this is quite the embarassing day for Gryffindor women. I suppose I should be embarassed too, but..." She shrugged and flew after Joey.

Bryce was shocked to have gotten an explanation for their lack of undress and even more shocked that the twin didn't even seem to mind that he had seen her. Orion had been correct when he said she had nice legs. Of course, he didn't know that the rest of her was just as fine. If only she'd clean herself up a bit...

Charlie flashed Jake a look, then ran to the nearest mirror. He looked at his reflection and saw his beautiful, dark locks of smooth hair had disappeared and it was short now.... His eyes started to tear up, but he blinked it back, remembering that Jake was in the room. He sighed. "My poor, poor hair..." He said, looking at the hair on the floor. He dropped to his knees and started picking up the hair to... throw away.

Jake took another page out of his mother's book and said, "Don't worry about it kid," and he drew his wand out and wave it at the hairs and they all neatly lined up and marched to the waste bin and jumped in. "There...that's better." Then seeing that Charlie was still upsset at the result, he said, "wait here, I have something for you." Jake ran out to the hall, let himself into his own private room and ran past the window to get his favorite hat. He grabbed it off the rack and ran back past the window skidding to a stop as he thought he saw something "flash" by. He though about what he thought he'd seen......."naw......it couldn't be...." and, convincing himself that he didn't just see his sister in her underwear, he went back into the room where Charlie was and gave him his hat to wear.

Rusty finally came back to reality as the water ran cold and he turned it off quickly and walked over to where his towel was hanging. He started drying himself off.

"Gosh.. If you didn't have to do all that work, being Head Girl wouldn't be that bad. You can confiscate anything you need!" Lia was thinking up all the things she would confiscate if ever given the chance. "Plus.. you get to get in close with Winston.. and there isn't a girl in this school that wouldn't kill for that oppertunity." Lia gathered up another towel and twisted her hair up with it, while waiting for Beth's response.

'I guess,' said Beth slightly doubtful, 'not that many confiscated items are of any real interest. Mostly just stink bombs usually.' She shrugged, drying her legs with a second towel, relishing the softness against her skin.

'Jake?' she mused. 'Jakes ok,' and not bad looking, she thought to herself. 'But I don't think somehow that being head girl will get me any closer to him. We rarely need to work together really from what I can tell. Unless we want to. And I can't see why he would. He's friends with Potter after all.' Beth stoped what she was doing, looking up at the girl in front of her. 'I think you stand a better chance of getting close to him than I ever would.'
