"I think you're underestimating my mates. If I tell them, they won't say anything." Orion felt the need to defend his friends, not because it was true but because he wanted to tell Bryce and win part of the bet. It hadn't happened as he'd expected, but he'd still had closet time with Potter. True, either of them would use the information against him without the slightest provocation, but it wouldn't really damage his reputation and he would gain so much by letting them know.

This time, Rusty was paying more attention and he easily formed his shield in time and deflected the spell which dispearsed as it hit. A loud gong could be heard as it made contact with the golden shield. "Nice one," he said, "Okay Ren, your turn.

Professor Potter announced that the class was coming to an end and that students needed to finish up their last turns to get their things ready to leave. He was pleased that most of them had been able to at least form some type of defense for each others spells.

"Okay, here it comes," Jake said and this time he picked "SILENCIO" as he cast the silencing spell towards Lia.

She watched as he easily deflected her spell this time and smiled. "I had a feeling you were holding back," she said and then, shooker shoulders and readied herself for his attack. "Ready when you are."

Joey sighed.."Whatever Malfoy. I've seen your friends in action and I know if you tell them, I'll be the one that hears about it. But.. that's fine. You tell your friends. Treat me as if I'm some sort of prize. Let them make fun of me and bring more attention to me. If that's what makes you feel better.. then by all means. I need to find Andi..," And Joey hopped off of her bed. "I'll see you around.. unless you're coming..No, wait, I didn't mean that. I'll ..um.. bye."

Joey looked at him awkwardly and tucked her messy hair behind her ears. She stopped to say something more to Malfoy.. but decided it best to just go. Slowly, she walked out of the Hospital and off to look for Andi.

Lia waved her wand, somewhat like Jake had taught her, and said the proper incantation. It didn't seem to work completely though.. as she felt her throat tighten. At least wasn't a total disaster like last time.."Thank Merlin this is over..,"she whispered, her voice hoarse from the spell.

Orion rolled his eyes and hopped out of the bed and followed behind Joey. She was moving pretty quickly and he finally stopped her in the third floor corridor. He darted in front of her, closing off her escape but being careful not to grab at her. "Potter! Look, if it bothers you all that much, then I won't tell either of them. I promise." He shrugged his shoulders and stepped back, confused by whatever it was he had felt as he stood so close. "Just wanted you to know... you don't have anything to worry about."

Rusty thought about what would be a good spell that if, by chance, it got through, wouldn't do too much damage. He rememberd a hex that one of his buddies cast upon him and he couldn't stop eating for a week.

Jake let out a breath in relief, barely that his spell hadn't got completely through. Although it did appear that Lia's voice sounded a lot more like Rusty's. "Um....nice," was all he could think to say. Before she could protest the change in her voice though, Jake turned to watch Rusty and Serenity finish their spells. He wanted to head down to the Great Hall with him for lunch.

Serenity was ready and this time, was able to put up a full shield and the hex was easily deflected. She smiled and lowered her wand. "What was that spell? I don't ever recall hearing it before," she said, walking over to Rusty who was standing near their bags.

Joey's eyes stared hard at Orion. Everything about him confused her, and it seemed the more he talked to her, the more confused she got. "Well..thanks. I mean.. if you really trust your friends not to go pointing me out as your closet bud everytime they see me, then go ahead. Because I know I'll tell Andi. But.. Ori..I.. I mean Malfoy.. why wouldn't you want your friends going after me? You really confuse me..," Joey said, probably more to herself than to him..

Orion considered it. "Its like you said up there. We can't see each other in the same way anymore. I don't hate you, and if its honestly going to bother you this much, then its all the same to me. I'll tell Bryce, since you're going to tell Andrea, but... I won't tell Lia. Now... do you want me to walk you to the Great Hall, or do you not want to be seen with me?" He smirked, his voice teasing.

Joey considered what he had said.. it seemed fair enough. But since when were Malfoy's and Potter's making fair deals? Joey guessed since they were making out in closets together.

"Alright..You can walk with me to lunch. Just don't try and like..," Joey stopped midsentence and just shook her head. She refused to finish that sentence.

Joey walked a safe distance away from Malfoy, but still closer than normal. She was just about to break their awkward silence when they came across Andi.. plopped down in the middle of the corridor. "Andi!" Joey exclaimed, a bit startled at seeing her.

Andi had gotten bored standing in the hall, so she plunked herself down against a wall and considered the strange day she had. At the memory of licking MacNair's face, she suddenly felt very warm. She was so embarassed by it. She flopped over so that she was laying in the hallway. "Hey, Joey. Malfoy," Andi responded lazily, not bothering to sit up. She pointed at Malfoy with her toe. "What are you doing? Did you take that bizarre potion too?"

Malfoy eyed the expanse of exposed leg as the Winston girl's robes fell back when she lifted her leg to point at him. "Hey, Winston. If you two ladies will excuse me." He nodded to them both and slipped past them into the Great Hall. He would leave them to their commiserating or whatever it was they were going to do.

Orion was surprised to see Alexa Winston sitting by Bryce. Orion sat down on the boy's other side and elbowed him. He gave a questioning look before speaking to him in French. "Interesting events today. I have quite a story to tell you, and I think you have one for me."

Bryce turned his attention from Alexa and looked over at Orion. He smiled and responded in French. "I had both of them in my lap and," he cocked his head toward Alexa. "I managed to keep one around after the effects wore off."

Orion opened his mouth to tell Bryce about the closet and Joey, but he changed his mind. This wasn't the right time. Maybe there wouldn't be a more right time, but he wasn't ready to share it yet. He leaned around Bryce and smiled disarmingly at Alexa. "I was just telling him how lucky he is to have such a lovely dining companion. I just ran into your sister in the hall, speaking with Potter. You're certainly the prettiest Winston at Hogwarts." He looked at Bryce and added in French, "Although that Andi isn't bad. I got a look at her legs and I know what she wears under that skirt. If you're nice... I'll tell you about it."

Bryce put an arm around Alexa's waist at Orions compliments. "Don't think you're going to move in, Orion," he said in English but, finished in French. "You'll tell me about it whether I'm nie or not assuming I can give you something for the tale..."

Orion smirked at Bryce. "Be nice," he said. "I'm not going to try to steal the lovely Alexa from you. We Slytherins have SOME honor, afterall." He winked at Alexa before murmuring in French, "What are you offering?"

"Well, let's just say that if you hadn't deflected it completly, you'd be racing off to lunch to eat everything in sight," Rusty responded, laughing. He handed Serenity her bag and then threw his around his neck, he was about to see if he could walk her down to lunch when Jake came walking up.

"I happen to have a bit of interesting information about our new transfer student that I might be willing to share with you for the story about how you know and what exactly she wears under that skirt," Bryce smiled, still speaking in French.

He leaned over to Alexa who was looking confused. "Why don't you try some ketchup with those chips?" he asked, pulling some of the condiment over, not wanting to make her feel too excluded.

"Then, I'm certainly glad I deflected it. I don't need any help with my apettite," she laughed but, frowned afterward. "But, that was an awful spell to try out on a girl, Rusty."

She smiled to let him know she was just joking when JJ came walking up. It seemed almost like old times after spending just a part of a class with Rusty and Serenity was feeling much more comfortable now. "Hey JJ," she greeted her old friend, forgetting that she hadn't said really anything to him at all up until now.

Jake came up to Rusty and Serenity who were talking about something. "Hey you two," he said, you gonna keep hexing each other or can we eat I'm starved.....I could everything in sight."

Rusty and Serenity's heads both spanned to Jake at his words, "you don't suspect........" Rusty said, grinning at Serenity.

"Oh dear, did I not cast the spell properly? I thought it was supposed to disperse the spell, not reflect it," she said, trying to contain her laughter. "I think we better get down to the Great Hall for something to eat."

ooc: For those who don't know... none of the Winston kids speak French.

Orion shrugged, hoping that he could earn whatever it was that Bryce knew about Serenity. "Alexa, these apples are wonderful. Try one," he handed her the basket. In French, he replied, "She's laying in the hallway with her leg in the air. I could be half blind and trying not to look and still see more than you've seen. And lucky for me," he smirked, "I have perfect vision and got a full look. She's got very nice legs, Bryce. Get your hands on those. And under that skirt... she's got this cute little pair of plaid shorts on. Very little."
